Holiday rentals with a kayak in Payne Springs

We had the best weekend! The house was beautiful with so much space. The kids loved the game room with pool table, foosball, air hockey, jenga, puzzles and books! We spent all day on the dock, with all of the kayaks and paddleboards, we were all entertained for hours. The neighborhood was beautiful and felt extremely safe, peaceful and quiet. The deck is huge and we ate several meals out there. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to cook all of our meals for our large family! Any questions we had were quickly answered, the hosts were super responsive and helpful! Our kids said it was the best weekend of our summer!!

We are 11 active and retired teachers. We loved our stay in this beautiful lakeside house. It was clean, private, and offered many amenities (loved the golf cart). We ate, laughed, stayed up late but most of all caught up on each other’s lives. This was a great place to be. Lord willing we’ll be back next year. Thanks Evan for all your help.

The home was exactly what we were looking for. Beautifully finshed on the inside with a beautiful property and views of the lake. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with more than enough towels available. One item for consideration. The steps to the second floor are incredibly steep and unmanageable for someone with mobility issues. There is a sleeper sofa available on the first floor but with a step to manage to access. The large walkin shower on the first floor was very helpful. We had a lovely time and wished we had booked for longer. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We had an amazing stay! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the house was warm, welcoming, and very comfortable. Darrick and Brittany were kind and communicative hosts, and everything was just as described. The highlight for us was definitely the pool and hot tub—so relaxing and well-maintained. We truly enjoyed our weekend and would absolutely come back. Highly recommended!

Place was amazing for our family getaway! Private lake dock and cozy little channel. Kayaks provided were sturdy and kept me afloat and I am a big guy. Toddler loved all the games, and swimming in the Lake with easy access stairs. Tons of yard games, and the house itself was large and roomy. Definitely recommend this place!

Enjoyed our stay even though our trip was cut short due to weather issues. Joel was extremely attentive and helpful through everything. Had such a good time fishing off the dock, and the movie/game room area was a really nice touch. Would love to stay here again and experience some of the things we didn’t get to fully do with our time there. Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying at Crazy 8, and it was amazing. Danielle was wonderful to communicate with and very efficient. She checked in on us Friday as there were storms around the area. On Saturday of our stay the power went out and I messaged to let them know. Danielle and Jamie got it all sorted out so fast! We were so grateful. The home was so clean with many amenities. Would totally recommend to others!

Linnea’s place was perfect for what we needed and looking for. Very comfortable, had everything we needed, she was always available and quick to respond. Ready to go back.

Great place, good area, and good neighbors. The only question I had unanswered from reading the previous reviews was the fishing area and quality. I didn’t see much info and had to make an educated guess… although I’m sure I could have just as easily asked the owners. The fishing was great. Good dock and my son and I fished at day and night ( bring an underwater light) and we caught a lot. Crappie, sand and striped bass, and catfish. The Dock restaurant near by is really good. We enjoyed it and will look for this place first for the next trip.

We had a wonderful time and loved this spot so much! Kristi was amazing with any questions and the house was fully stocked with whatever we needed. Outside the lake was wonderful with kayaks and rafts to keep you busy for days. We will definitely be booking again. We enjoyed every minute of it!

What a gorgeous, peaceful oasis! The hosts have thought of everything to make our stay perfect - from a bottle of wine to drinks in the fridge and a snack and coffee basket to extra towels and throw blankets for sitting outside. It was a lovely, relaxing weekend in a beautiful and serene setting.

It was great perfect for our family of 5 plus grandma. She was responsive and accommodating. She allowed for an earlier check-in and great host. If we go to that area again definitely going to book at the island park cottage again!

Perfect place foir family to watch the eclipse. Used the kayaks and enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. It was especially great that he did NOT change the rate just for the eclipse.

I'm so happy we found this adorable cottage by the lake. The beds were comfortable, spacious clean house, and beautiful views made the trip get away special. Mai, the host, was very responsive to my texts. I highly recommend everyone to book this beautiful house by the lake. It's a great place to recharge.

We wanted to get away for some much needed downtime after school ended. Bluegill Lake Cabins privided just what we needed. It was quiet and peaceful. There was a lake with a canoe right out the front door. Everyone could do as mu h or little as they needed ornwanted to. We are already planning out next stay.

Preston was a wonderful host. He always responded quickly and wanted to insure we had a great stay. The property is absolutely beautiful! Beautiful views of the lake and it is so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the spacious back porch and/or down by the water. We spent all of our time outside kayaking, paddle boating, fishing, or relaxing in the outdoor seating next to the lake. We purchased all of our groceries before arriving and all necessary cooking utensils were available to use in the kitchen. The gas grill and Keurig coffee maker were used daily during our stay. I highly recommend Preston’s place and we will definitely stay here again when we are in the area!

Spacious, beautifully landscaped, comfortable. A wonderful space for multi family vacations. Wonderful dock. Clean!

We had a great stay, the lake house was clean and the host even bought some toys to keep my kids entertained while we were there. Everything was well kept.

This was the second stay at this Airbnb, and it was another wonderful experience. Many fish were caught from the dock, and it was enjoyable to relax by the fire and make s'mores. This place is highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with great fishing and enjoyable amenities like the fire pit, beautiful views and s'mores!
