I moved to Pedernales to respond the emergency in the aftermath of the earthquake that hit Ecuador in April 16. I found Juan Carlos and Maria Isabel's place cozy and homey. The cabin's interior and outer design is unparalleled in comparison to the regular houses and hotels around the region. The coast is virtually private in the sense that you may be the only person bathing there. I loved the private atmosphere of such a beautiful beach. I ended up renting one of the two cabins for months while I worked in Pedernales. They were attentive and hospitable in catering to the more demanding needs of a relatively long-term stay such as mine. A plunge in the permanently-cleaned swimming pool would wash off all my worries after a long day of work. As a headsup, I have to mention that the cabins are located a bit closer to Comijies rather than to Pedernales. However, there are buses that run from 4am to 7pm. You could also hail pedicab motorcycles to Cojimies. There is a public clinic nearby with free medical care and medicine for your peace of mind. Also, the police officers are polite and helpful. Overall, I endorse these cabins, hosts and the location!

the very nice and welcoming place, the attention of both the hostess and the person of the place very good, always attentive and with the intentions of guaranteeing a good experience. even though the place did not have air conditioning as described, the host apologizes and was ready to give us a solution. the place has a good amount of fans and for one who is a father, the roofed pool... a success 🙌 since there was always good sun and we could enjoy in the pool with all tranquility and comfort. the very nice and cozy place, I would definitely come back and recommend it.

Excellent stay, an extremely comfortable house (there were 8 of us), with all the amenities, a heated pool, social areas and very close to the sea. The house is impeccable and better than what you see in the photos. It's important to note that it's inside a guarded complex, which gave us a lot of security. Kindness and excellent attention from the security guard, he was always attentive to us or anything we needed. Ma Dolores, with whom we coordinated the reservation, is a very friendly and helpful person, answering any questions and making it easy for us to feel comfortable. Ideal for families and children. We would definitely come back!

My family and I had an amazing stay. They contacted us the day before our reservation to tell us everything that Julita included. During our stay, the staff's service was excellent, their instructions and the rules of the place were very clear. The house we booked was in perfect condition, just as shown in the photographs. The place is perfect for relaxing in nature, and we were lucky enough to see a beautiful sunset from the bungalow they have in front of the beach. We definitely plan to return in the future.
