Lappish cabin by a lake

This traditional Lappish log cabin is located at lake Norvajärvi with direct access to lake in both winter and summer time. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the spectacular northern lights or cosy up by the open fire place in winter. We are 20km out from Rovaniemi city and driving time is apprx 30min. Cabin has electricity but no running water. Cabin and its sauna are heated by wood and water for washing taken from the lake.

Just renovated bathroom - Puro-maja, a traditional Finnish cabin located in quiet area next to skiing (50 m), biking and outdoor tracks with a separate traditional wooden fired sauna and a small creek for refreshing dips year around as well as lean-to (laavu) for barbequing. Main cabin accommodates six people in three small bedrooms and sauna cabin has two bunk beds for four persons (suitable especially for kids) 1 km to the groceries, playground and beach and 4 km to the skiing resort

Villa in the heart of lapland

The cabin provides comfortable accommodation spaces and a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals after long days. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which has separable beds. Upstairs there's a large bunk beds, WC and a fold-out futon sofa for an extra bed. The sauna is located in a separate outdoor building, accessed through a glazed terrace. An outdoor fireplace is also situated on the terrace, where you can enjoy even the chilliest of evenings.

hand built round log traditional lapland cabin, located on the edge of lake kinisjarvi near lohiniva, half way between rovaniemi and levi. beautifully simple and with everything you need, one of us must meet you on the other side of the lake when you arrive and take you to cabin on snow mobile or by boat (depending on time of year). we have a hand built separate sauna and a wood fired hot tub on site, (hot tub charges apply) plus lake side fire pit and of course log fire in cabin.

Beautiful, spacious and cosy lodge. Great location! Village centre and ski buss stop are in walking distance. Skiing tracks are nearby. Linen, towels and cleaning include the price! In the first floor there are one bedroom with double bed, kitchen area, sofa, sauna, bathroom, tv and fireplace. In the second floor there are tv area, sofa bed, one single bed and one double bed or two single beds. Spacious back terrace opens to the forest. There are one parking space with heating.

On the beach, another sauna and a lot, can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo for grilling and a rowing boat. Pretty and cosy wooden cottage with sauna in peaceful environment. The cottage is located 31km from Rovaniemi city centre. Because of the location outside all the city lights, this is a perfect location to see the northern lights. The best chances to see the the northern lights is during a clear sky without clouds. There are also different forecasts that you can guugle to estimate the possibility of seeing northern ligts. There is a monument of silence built near by.
