We all had a truly wonderful stay at The Dairy in South Wales. The cottage is charming, beautifully kept, and perfectly nestled among rolling hills and countryside walks — an ideal spot to switch off and unwind from the demands of everyday life. The surroundings are peaceful and scenic, with plenty of walking trails right on the doorstep perfect for our 2 dogs what where with us!Whether you're after a gentle stroll or something more adventurous, the area is a dream for nature lovers. Our hosts were absolutely fantastic — warm, welcoming, and always on hand if needed, without being intrusive. You can tell they really care about making guests feel at home. Even giving us milk that we forgot to bring with us-! Lifesavers! If you're looking for a peaceful escape with stunning views, fresh air, and a real sense of calm, I can't recommend The Dairy enough. I left feeling rested, recharged, and already planning a return visit! Thank you so much guys, see you soon!

If you're considering booking this property, then do it! We have had the best week staying here and I cannot rate it highly enough. The host was great at communicating before the trip and whilst we were there. Whenever we had a question, nothing was too much trouble. She contacted us to let us know we could check in a little bit earlier as the property was ready, and this was much appreciated. One of the biggest things we look for in an airbnb is cleanliness, and I have to say, the property was spotless. The kitchen had all the amenities you could want, and the house had lovely little touches for our toddler; toys, highchair, stair gate and bed guard. Whilst the weather wasn't great, there was a lovely sized garden, and our toddler was able to visit the horses behind the garden and feed them carrots. Everything was a very short drive away, and location was great. We enjoyed a dinner in the pub garden of the Ancient Briton. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

A wonderful warm welcome awaits in this picturesque corner of wales. Beautiful rolling countryside and utter peaceful surroundings. A lovely break away from it all where nothing is too much trouble for the host to ensure you have a great stay!

I’ve booked it for the weekend for a birthday surprise for my partner and balloons and a banner was put in the room for when we get there. The place was lovely, peaceful and beautiful. Looking forward for booking it again very soon! Highly recommended x Ily

We had a fantastic stay for 2 nights at Mabel Cottage. Debbie was on hand to greet us immediately upon arrival and she talked us through all of the relevant instructions for the hot tub etc. Very friendly and approachable and made it clear she was just over the way if we needed something. The barn was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. Towels were provided for the bathroom and the hot tub and we had a relaxing time. The wood fired hot tub was great......we spent about 2+ hours in there on our 2nd night. We also made use of the BBQ under the covered area (needed in the Welsh rain). The local area is stunning and there are lots of dry and wet weather things to do within the Brecons area. Revisiting the Waterfalls was a highlight ......you do need to be energetic as described as some steep gradients and uneven steps/ground! All in all we had a fantastic time at Mabel and would definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean and tidy and Clare went above and beyond with complimentary cake and fizz on arrival. Clare was very responsive when we had questions about the area. The house felt like a home, and it was great to be able to make the most of the spa pool after a day out. We would definitely book again.

Amazing stay at the Yarlington Dairy. The cottage was stunning and had everything you needed. The views were magnificent and the cider was also lush! Laura was a wonderful host, super friendly and very responsive. Thank you for a great stay celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary! 🤩 x

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. Well presented with well thought out amenities left for us. Plenty of space for the three of us and the hot tub was a delightful treat after we had explored for 11k. Dinner at butterflies was stunning, for three people who talk a lot, we were eating in silence because we were so happy 🥰 Will happily recommend to friends and family visiting the area. My friend and I had a lovely, tranquil stay with our border terrier. The garden is enclosed and wonderful. The view is stunning and the house is cosy and welcomingly rustic. Great walks in the surrounding hills and by the river Towy. Llandovery is the only close by small town with all that you could need. I look forward to coming out there again.

Lois’s Airbnb was a truly wonderful place for my friends and me to reconnect and spend a few relaxing days together. From the moment we arrived, Lois was incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. She was an absolute pleasure to speak with and made us feel right at home. The cottage itself is beautiful—nestled in serene natural surroundings, with friendly cats and cheerful chickens roaming around, adding a charming and heartwarming touch to the experience. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Lois’s cottages if you’re visiting Wales. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the peaceful countryside!

Beautiful location, lovely spacious cottage and great walking. So nice to see chickens and geese and horses. Very comfortable for our family of six and very well stocked kitchen, complete with fresh eggs. Definitely recommend, I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you!

We had a truly relaxing stay at Ducks Cottage. The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a peaceful break. One of the highlights was sitting in the lovely garden by the canal, watching and feeding the ducks— a perfect spot to unwind. Everything about the cottage made us feel right at home. We had a wonderful stay! The location is very peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The host was extremely kind and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The terrace and garden were beautiful – ideal for enjoying the sun and the lovely view of nature. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed. I went to the accommodation with a friend. I prefer something more modern but my friend likes a cottage. I was wrong. The place was so homely and the garden was such a lovely place to sit, along with beautiful views. Sally and her husband were amazing hosts and very welcoming. We had a lovely time in Brecon and the people were so friendly. Although it’s only a small town it has everything. We went to the four waterfalls trail and came home to freshly baked scones and jam. Such a lovely and thoughtful thing for Sally to do. It’s a great place to relax and get away from a busy life. I fully recommend it if you want to switch off and unwind.

An absolutely stunning house. Suited our needs perfectly. The garden was lovely and just what we needed. Peaceful. Phillip was so helpful and responsive. Highly recommended and will definitely be back. Beds very comfy. Thanks for a fabulous weekend.

lovely cottage exactly what we'd hoped for perfect for me and my daughter and it was as we expected immaculately clean and well maintained, small but nice outside area and the added bonus of the lovely shop next door i had a great pasty and bottle of wine from the shop. staff were friendly we would highly recommend Peacock Cottage.

Clare's cottage was perfect for our stay. It was very comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. The location is just fantastic for exploring the wonderful valley with all it's natural wonder, and coming home to a warm fire was great.

Perfection. The pictures are accurate but it’s a lot more than the photos depict. I loved the neighborhood, walking trails, all the small personal touches. As some others mentioned, the neighbor’s dogs do bark a lot but we weren’t bothered by them. The garden and greenhouse type kitchen along with the summer house, extra WC, and writing room made the place feel huge. Highly recommend.
