Casa Aurora (CA) is an old family home that has recently been remodeled. As you walk through CA, you will come across some portraits of Aurora's family and some objects in "tin" that whisper the story of João's old dairy farm that once inhabited the basement. Just like a good family home, CA welcomes many people in its 4 bedrooms with double beds, in the living room with sofa bed, in the equipped kitchen, in the 2 bathrooms and also in the fantastic barbecue and wood-burning oven in the garden! Welcome!

The house is located 30 km from the city of Coimbra, 45 km from Serra da Estrela and 15 km from Bussaco. We are located 15 minutes from Vila Nova de Poiares, Mortágua, Lousa and Arganil. Penacova, the county seat, is 10 minutes away. You can visit the pergola and Penedo de Castro, with unique views over the Mondego River, and it also offers several walking trails. In Lorvão, you can taste its ex-libris, the snow and the Lorvão pastry. The house is located between 2 river beaches, Vimieiro and Cornicovo

Here, you can breathe in the fresh countryside air and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. You can explore the stunning landscapes of Bussaco National Forest, visit the magnificent Bussaco Palace, or enjoy a swim in the Mondego River with kayak tours between Penacova and Coimbra.

Casa Rio is located in the municipality of Penacova. The house is situated on the shores of Lake Mondego. It can accommodate a maximum of 4 people in a pleasant and peaceful setting. The house comprises a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms with double beds, and a bathroom. Parking is free and convenient in front of the house. A garden with a deck chair and a garden table is now available for guests.

Coimbra Balcony

Located in a quiet village, the Varanda de Coimbra accommodation, open since May 2025, is ideal for relaxing or for an overnight stay during a tour between Penacova, Lorvão and Coimbra. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is the possibility of dining at the accommodation, subject to booking and availability. Flexible check-in and check-out upon request.
