Cottage holiday rentals in Pendeen

My partner and I had a great stay here for a long weekend. The place was so peaceful and quiet but close to amenities. The bed in particular was so comfortable, something I find hard to find at Airbnb’s! Claire and her husband were such lovely hosts and even gave us some free home grown eggs for breakfast. Plus lots of local recommendations. The local is good for seeing both the north and south coast. Easy to get the train too if you don’t fancy driving. 100% would come back and recommend the others too!

Clare’s place is beautiful, and surrounded by acres of fields. No one on top of you, just peace and quiet. The bungalow is clean and tidy and Clare had baked some gorgeous cakes and left lots of goodies in the fridge for us. It was great having a dishwasher too. Highly recommended. And 100% pre book restaurants as they get busy.

The loveliest cottage and the nicest hosts 💗 if you’re looking for a homely and warm airbnb, this is a perfect choice. Vince and Becky are amazing, recommended a lot of great places to us and made sure we felt well looked after and welcome!

This is an amazing air bnb! We had a wonderful stay at Claire’s place. The place was exactly as described and the small touches like cold Prosecco in the fridge, hot water bottles and dressing gowns made it feel extra welcoming. The location is great, just a small walk to the beach and restaurants / pubs. Claire was extremely responsive host and we would defined stay here again if we came back to Perrenporth!

We loved our stay at bumblebee cottage. It was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the attention to detail and was very thankful for the welcome pack. The hot tub is private and a great size for relaxing. Tracy our host was very communicative, friendly and at hand for any questions. We will definitely be returning. Our children loved it that much they asked if we could move in.

Had a lovely stay in the hideaway at Tregoose Old Mill. It’s in a peaceful, remote location down a small country lane but easy to access Newquay and surrounding areas with a car. The sauna and hot tub are great additions to a lovely spacious cottage with what feels like your own private gardens. Cookies and eggs from the roaming chickens provided by Dean were a lovely touch!

We stayed at Mellinzeath 28 years ago for a week of our honeymoon, and decided to revisit for our anniversary. What a transformation! The property has been restored beautifully and sympathetically, and now feels loved again. Everything - the materials used for the fabric of the building, fixtures, fittings and equipment - is of excellent quality, and there are many little touches which make it extra welcoming. Even Obi, our dog, had his own welcome pack and a warm shower outside. This is a very special property in a tranquil, secluded setting, with nothing but the birds for company. Wish it had been like this for our honeymoon.....

This was our second stay at Sharon's barn and we will definitely come back again. It's in a great location, has all the bits and pieces you need for a week's holiday and is incredibly comfortable. the bed is very comfy and we slept soundly, waking ready for a walk to the beach for a swim.

We had an amazing stay in St Ives and would definitely come again. My kids loved the trip from Surfing, fishing and reconnecting with family movies. Lorna was very helpful and welcoming and the house was perfect. Definitely recommend the walk down / short drive to Carbis where we would spend our evenings on the beach.

We stayed at James' Telegraph Cottage specifically to go to a production at The Minack Theatre: it was an excellent choice in so any ways! The theatre was within walking distance, there was a fabulous nearby beach, and walks were endless. The accommodation and James' hospitality were superb: both ensuites were new, the cottage was roomy with a quite large kitchen and the garden was a great asset for sitting and having an evening wine! James was always so quick to answer the questions we had, and emailed copious notes regarding finding the place, pubs and walks. Couldn't have been better in every aspect. We would like to return!!

A lovely, quirky place in a great location - I don’t think you could get a better location in Mousehole. The relationship with the Children’s book’The Mousehole Cat’ gives it an exceptional history. The house was cosy, comfortable and well appointed with high quality bathroom toiletries. We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay again and recommend it to others.

My sister, wife and I had a fantastic short stay in Newlyn - very comfortable and the softest sheets ever! The pub at the bottom of the hill served a fantastic roast dinner and local supermarkets made finding food very easy. Some lovely touches from Amy made for a special visit. One recommendation for future visitors: follow Amy's directions to the house rather than following your sat nav up Bowjey Hill - 1st gear almost wasn't enough!

Absolutely loved my stay at Jayce and Hannah’s cottage. I booked it for a week on my own: and it felt like a home away from home. Tucked away at the most cosy courtyard, the only thing you hear are birds, the wind and horses. The cottage was perfect: extremely clean (it smelled lovely!), fully equipped (washing machine 🤝), and a very comfortable bed. When you peek out the bedroom window you get a glimpse of the Atlantic ocean 🩷. I did mostly hikes at the south west coast path and it’s a perfect get away. Within proper walking distance of the local Tesco and St Ives (also a beautiful little walk in itself). Public transport works great and nearby. Appreciated the rapid communication a lot and are already looking forward to come back and bring loved ones to share this gem of a place. Thank you so much to Jayce and Hannah, this place really did me well☺️.

Alfreds Cottage was easy to find, clean and made cosy a couple of cooler evening with the log fire. Wood and kindling available at Co-op. We didn't have a car, but local buses are just round the corner and centre of St Ives in walking distance, the up hill walk home was no problem. We ventured out to walk coastal paths, returning by bus. Also took train to Penzance, and Carbis bay. There is a big Tesco store at Carbis bay, the bus takes you there direct from main road near property. The coastal walks and beaches to visit around St Ives are just magic.. we did have fantastic sunny days though ;) Lisa answers queries promptly.. we sent a few suggestions when we left that we thought needed sorting.. My wife & I along with our 3 month old baby spent a week at William's cottage. William is an attentive host, providing clear instructions and assisting with any questions we had in a punctual manner. We primarily used the cottage as a base to explore the area each day and it was a perfect place to come home to. The cottage has been renovated to a high standard with modern fittings. We noted how quiet and cozy the cottage is in the evenings. Porthleven is a small town and the cottage is a 5 minute walk from the harbour. Kota Kai is definitely a recommended restaurant as family friendly and excellent food.

This is a lovely countryside location which is walking distance from the beach . It’s tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, spacious and everything I needed. Rachel was quick to reply when we needed to be flexible with the dates and also welcoming when we arrived .

Both our stays at The Bobbin were great! Warm and cosy in winter, light and airy in the spring. The location is perfect. Just a short walk to the beaches, harbour and restaurants. Despite being on a busy shopping street, it is still peaceful in the evenings. We’ve found The Bobbin to be well kept and it has everything you’d need. From pots and pans to cook up a feast, to pre signed in Netflix/Amazon accounts, and everything in between. It’s a good value place to stay and would happily stay again

Very cute and charming cottage in a lovely fishing village. Great for a peaceful bank holiday weekend. The cottage is spread across three floors, with a lovely sized bedroom, cozy living room, and well equipped kitchen. Can not recommend Adrian and his cottage more.

A very beautiful cottage in the heart of Mousehole which is a beautiful small village with nice locations for coffee and dinner. There are a lot of nice things to do in this area. We loved the interior of the cottage and I personally loved the remote control for the fire. I also loved the small coffee machine with coffee capsules provided. Fiona provides every information you need in advance and there is a book with excursions in the cottage.
