Great spot needs better A/C but great stay otherwise

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. das Frühstück war komischerweise nicht inklusive, trotzdem war das Essen dort frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist etwas schwerer und anstrengender zu fahren. aber dafür bezahlt man wenigstens nicht die höheren Preise direkt am Diamond beach. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit!

I stayed here for two nights and honestly, it was fantastic—I enjoyed every single moment! The place was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the incredible hospitality, especially from one of the staff members, Kadek. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From helping with laundry, arranging drivers, recommending great places to eat, organizing food delivery, and much more—he was always there with a smile and a solution. Kadek is an absolute legend and a big reason why my stay was so enjoyable. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great service, comfort, and a genuinely warm experience. Would definitely come back!

Thank you Swarra Homestay 2, It’s been my biggest pleasure to call this place home for two months. The peaceful but quite location in the backstreet, walking distance to town and heaps of restaurant was just the perfect deal for me. Rati and her husband were great host to me, doesn’t matter if I needed recommendations or any kind of help. Taking care of me and other guest e.g. drinking water, breakfast, cleaning and laundry. Furthermore, my room had this magical outdoor shower, clean sheets and working AC, what I deeply appreciated. This Outdoor area is very green next to the pool and with its ferry lights it gave me the relaxed island vibes I was looking for in my own accommodation. I could store my own food in the fridge and use the kitchen. Great Price-Value in my eyes. Was a really nice stay! It literally is basically outdoors so get ready to have the fans on you constantly! We also needed to rent bikes from the host as it isn’t walkable but on a bike it is super easy to get around, we really enjoyed the stay. Additionally the walls are super thin so we can hear people below us and in the villa next to us etc, also the mosque call at the early hours IS SUPER LOUD, bring earplugs!

The most valuable part of the accommodation are the people. They help you quickly and give you good tips. After two days I already had enough contacts with locals to organize transportation and trips at a reasonable price. Gustiningsih is the most loving and helpful host I have had so far. The accommodation is perfectly fine for the price. A small aftertaste has the poor wifi in the room, it works better in the in-house restaurant. However, one should be aware that Nusa Penida invites you to explore, and not to lie around in the accommodation.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé cet endroit, Super emplacement dans le centre de Lembongan où tout est accessible à pied pour ce qui est des restaurants et besoin de shopping. Les couchers de soleil y sont incroyables, le personnel est très sympa (Abdul) et fait son maximum pour répondre à nos besoins. Il y’a eu un souci sur le ménage, et même si l’équipe est assez jeune, elle va améliorer son efficacité sur le ménage et corriger chaque détail car ils ont envie de bien faire. Merci pour votre réactivité sur l entretien de notre chambre ! C est un homestay dans la simplicité et la coolness que doit avoir un homestay !

Mr Fuad was really helpful, the villa was beautiful! It was easy to find, and in a great location! The photos don’t do it justice! Mr Fuad also organised for us snorkelling and was so helpful in holding our luggage! A true gentleman!

Lovely location, not in the thick of it but a great beach bar/restaurant two doors away. We rented a scooter and got taxi rides into town and other parts of the island, so it wasn’t a problem for us at all, however, if you’d rather have more choice on your doorstep it might be a little far out. The house itself is beautiful and the daily housekeeping was appreciated. The wifi works fine for email but might not be powerful enough if you are relying on it for remote work or streaming. Overall, a great place to stay and we would definitely return!

Great private villa, close to all main areas, beach, restaurants. Pick up and drop off from the boat, had 2x scooters waiting at Villa(additional cost) everything was great! Nice big rooms great a/c, well equipped kitchen, great private pool. Safe, secure and private and access to everything you need. Big tv with Netflix etc. Excellent stay!

My family and I loved this beautiful oasis 🏝 It's located on a quiet little sandy road - just far enough so you only hear the birds and close enough where you can get to the ocean in seconds. Bedrooms are all AC'd and very nicely decorated. I loved the antique wooden furniture with mother-of-pearl details. Bathrooms are all outdoor so the island vibe never leaves you, even when you shower - perfection! Living room and kitchen is an open space equipped with 2 powerful fans, so it was never too hot. The pool was refreshing and had a great area for our little one to splash around. The villa was cleaned every day and all our requests were answered in seconds. Martijn made our life super easy by recommending us where to eat, shop and explore (make sure to get some pizzas from Martijn's pizzeria - yummy!).

Our stay at this villa was absolutely gorgeous. Not only was the villa beautiful & exactly as pictured, our host was so lovely and accomodating. From the local recommendations, to organising our transport & even a doctor when I was unwell. The owners & the cleaners/staff were also so lovely & we will 100% be coming back!!

Better than expected….perfect for 1 or 2 couples. Close to diving and restaurants yet completely private once inside the property. And the most lovely lady Ketut came by everyday to clean and replenish whatever we needed. Highly recommend

Wij mochten 6 nachten verblijven in de mooie Villa Escape. Wat een pracht locatie, grote ruimte, airco in de slaapkamers, volledige privacy, een heerlijk zwembad en alles bij de hand. Bij de villa staan al 2 scooters die je kan huren dus dat was heel fijn want we konden gelijk op pad. Vanuit de slaapkamer hoor je de golven bij Sandy beach op de kust slaan. Ook zitten er lekkere restaurantjes in de buurt, zowel Indonesisch als voor ontbijt en internationale gerechten. We hebben een prachtig diner voor 2 gehad in de tuin met een privé chef. De huismanager Sura had alles mooi versierd en het eten was het lekkerste wat we ooit gegeten hebben. Sura heeft ons ook veel verteld over de Balinese mensen en gewoonten, we hebben veel van hem kunnen leren. Hij groette ons elke dag met de meest vriendelijk glimlach en een praatje, hij heeft ons verblijf nog aangenamer gemaakt!

Kylee, our gracious host, was exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring every aspect of our stay was seamless. The on-site staff mirrored her hospitality, always ready to assist with a warm smile. The villa itself was immaculate and well-appointed, offering all the comforts of home in a stunning island setting. Its location on Nusa Ceningan allowed us to explore the island’s natural beauty easily.  We can’t recommend Villa Senja highly enough. It’s a true gem for anyone seeking a peaceful and luxurious retreat. Thank you!

Great value for money, David was a fantastic host always willing to help when you need it, housekeeping came daily to make bed, refresh towels if needed and empty trash, even washed our dishes for us which was a delightful touch. Bathroom is pretty soap scum heavy but that’s not unusual in Bali, still smelt fresh. Location was super convenient, great spot for restaurants and access to the beach, pool facilities were fantastic although pool could be open a little later to accommodate for a post dinner swim. Laundry and coffee shop directly across the road which was nice and convenient for our stay. Very family friendly location. Absolutely would stay here again, well worth the price it is listed for.

Just to say that Andrianto’s apartment was easy to locate, clean and extremely presentable - everything that the host had advertised. Great location, excellent amenities - would highly recommend this host/apartment, and if we get the opportunity to visit Bali again we would hope to secure this apartment again. For the price it was perfect, finding the place was a little difficult but once you find it it’s pretty easy to access. Definitely a place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring and parting. They Don’t have a tv so make sure to bring something watch..

We had an excellent stay at this property. Coo is a fine host – very responsive and helpful throughout our visit. The location is truly ideal: extremely convenient to everything you might need, yet situated in a remarkably quiet area. The unit itself is brand new, impeccably maintained, and features a very pleasant Bali style. We certainly appreciated the convenience of the in-unit washer, and having the swimming pool just steps away was a definite plus. A first-rate choice; highly recommended.

Our second time here… love the apartment and location. We felt right at home having stayed last year here too. Being able to use the pool at the hotel next door is great… the staff are really nice… and you can’t beat the location…. So close to the beach and great restaurants - yet it is such a peaceful location in a quiet alleyway.

I decided to take a one month trip to Bali after making many previous trips. I wanted to find a quiet, peaceful place to unwind and relax and came across Casa Meena. It looked nice so gave it a go It was the ideal choice. What a fantastic place to stay! From the time you walk in the gate you are greeted with friendliness and comfort. So much thought has gone into Casa Meena. the layout is supurb, the rooms are pristine, the pool and grounds are magnificent and the hosts, Carole and Sures are such lovely people. I spent a full month here and didn't want to leave. It is my home away from home. Carole and Sures are such great hosts and have become friends. They take the time to get to know you and make sure your trip is idyllic. This peaceful oasis is now my goto home in Bali and I know that a lot of care and thought go into making your holiday a memorable and enjoyable experience. Everything about Casa Meena is designed meticulously. This is a must stay location in Sanur.

This has become my go-to place when I’m in town. The main reason is Sri, one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. She’s always there to help me out if I need anything.
