The accommodation was perfect, great location, close to walks, activities, historic sites and shops. There is a lakeside bar a short walk away. Views from the house looking out to Lake Scanno and the mountains are spectacular! Great hosts, very responsive. Siamo stati nell'appartamento di Francesco da giovedì a domenica e siamo stati benissimo ! l'appartamento è confortevole ed è presente tutto il necessario, come stare a casa propria! Monticchio è a dieci minuti da L'Aquila e a mezz'ora da Fonte Cerreto, da cui parte la funivia per il Gran Sasso. Il Gran Sasso è stupendo e, se ti piace la natura, il trekking, andare in bici o a cavallo, la posizione della casa è ottimale per raggiungere le attrazioni naturalistiche della zona. Both Stefania and her parents were very helpful, friendly and accommodating and they were always available if we needed anything. The home is beautiful and in a stunning location, that is not too far from either the mountains or towns and shops. Thank you for the amazing stay!

Lorenzo host gentilissimo e disponibile, ci ha accolto e illustrato alcuni luoghi da visitare e ristoranti. L'alloggio è molto pulito, posizione super tranquilla e nessun vicino. Abbiamo passato 4 giorni insieme al nostro cane che poteva tranquillamente stare in giardino (privato e chiuso) e visitato tanti luoghi nei dintorni. Gli unici aspetti "negativi" dell'alloggio sono stati la mancanza di zanzariere nelle camere da letto, il che significa che d'estate, lasciando le finestre aperte (si stava benissimo!) qualche insetto è entrato, e la lontananza dal centro abitato: se la sera si vuole fare un giro in paese la strada per arrivarci è in salita e piuttosto lunga. Quest'ultimo aspetto a noi non ha pesato perché la sera, dopo lunghe camminate, siamo sempre andati a letto dopo cena. Non abbiamo usufruito del barbecue. In sintesi: esperienza più che positiva e super consigliata a chi vuole passare qualche giorno in totale relax per visitare l'Abruzzo, lontano dalla confusione.

Abbiamo trascorso una meravigliosa vacanza di Pasqua in famiglia (io, mia moglie e i nostri due bambini di 2 e 8 anni). L’appartamento, appena ristrutturato, è accogliente, caldo e profuma di legno. Dotato di tutti i comfort, con cucina attrezzata e letti comodissimi, ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. Il giardino è ampio e curato, perfetto per rilassarsi mentre i bambini giocano. Il cane di famiglia, educato e dolcissimo, ha fatto compagnia ai nostri figli per ore: si sono divertiti tantissimo a giocare a palla insieme! Una menzione speciale va a Stefano e Stefania, i proprietari: gentili, disponibili e sempre attenti, ci hanno accolti con calore e ospitalità. È raro trovare un posto così autentico, dove sentirsi davvero in famiglia. Una Pasqua indimenticabile. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca tranquillità, natura e un’accoglienza sincera.

Lea e Roland sono host fantastici, molto reattivi e amichevoli. Tranquilla posizione, cucina in comune e giardino con piscina, ottimi ristoranti in zona. Molto rilassante.

Court séjour dans un beau et paisible village des abruzzes. La maison contient tout ce qu’il faut et le jardin avec piscine est très bien aménagé. Les propriétaires sont d adorables personnes qui possèdent également un restaurant dans le centre, que nous vous conseillons d essayer.

Beautiful retreat near Ortona. Big accessible yard with pool in beautiful at the end of a short private road. Andrea was very friendly from our arrival to our departure, he upgraded us to a bigger accommodation since we were the only guests. Our children play the yard using the soccer balls and nets made available. Easy drive to Ortona and near beaches. I would recommend this quiet little paradise to anyone visiting Ortona.

Si tratta di un appartamento un po' datato in un complesso per le vacanze molto tranquillo. La posizione è strategica perchè in pochi minuti si può raggiungere il centro (con una sicurissima strada ciclopedonale) ma anche partire per varie escursioni o per sciare. La casa è confortevole e molto pulita con tutto ciò che serve. Sono rimasta colpita dalla cucina molto fornita di tutti gli utensili, cosa non scontata. Pulito e funzionale anche il bagno. Il riscaldamento funziona perfettamente e anche l'acqua calda non ci ha dato problemi nonostante abbiamo fatto 7 docce di fila. Ultima chicca la vista spettacolare dal balcone. Super consigliato!

Beautifully restored old farmhouse with excellent amenities. Great swimming pool set in attractively-lit landscaped garden. Ombretta responded very quickly to all messages and was very friendly, as was Luciano (the caretaker). The mountains provided both a beautiful setting and some great hiking trails a short distance from the house.

We recently stayed at Roberto's Airbnb with friends for a week and a half, and it was an incredible experience. Roberto is a fantastic host. He provided invaluable suggestions for a beautiful motorbike ride through the mountains, enhancing our trip with local insights we wouldn't have found on our own. During our stay, Roberto also replaced the chlorine in the pool, ensuring it was always in pristine condition for us to enjoy. His attentiveness and willingness to help were remarkable, and he was always available whenever we needed anything. The house itself is perfect for four couples and kids. It offers plenty of space and a fantastic pool area that became the focal point of our relaxation and fun. The layout and amenities are thoughtfully designed to cater to groups, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We highly recommend renting this house, especially with Roberto as your host. His dedication to ensuring a perfect stay makes all the difference!

My family and I traveled from Knoxville, TN to Sant'Omero to visit relatives! We were absolutely blown away by this Air B&B. Not only was the home extremely clean with amenities including full bathrooms, kitchen, pool, but also the views were incredible. We were greeted at the front door and given a tour of the home. The host was responsive, polite, professional, and friendly. She went above and beyond as a host. We had a wonderful time and will remember this trip forever! I hope to visit again and stay here!! This was easily our most enjoyable experience with Air B&B.

Rosso Matonne offers views of the countryside that feel like something out of a painting. From the moment we arrived, Barbara made us feel at home —offering local tips and warm smiles that never felt forced. The Apartment and grounds are immaculate. Comfortable beds, spacious kitchen, and close to Sulmona. And then there’s Ellie — the adorable, friendly family pup who quickly became the highlight of our trip. Always happy for a cuddle or to join us for a stroll, she added a comforting, homey touch that made the experience even more memorable. Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso nell’appartamento del Sig. Giancarlo, un vero angolo di paradiso immerso nelle dolci colline teramane. Fin dal nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti con grande cordialità e disponibilità, e ci siamo subito sentiti a casa. One of my best AirBNB experiences, I slept really well in this lovely apartment. The exterior of the building was quaint and had character but the insides were modern, recently renovated and tastefully decorated. Fontecchio is a small but really charming little village and a great base to explore this corner of Abruzzo. The only thing is that public transport is extremely limited in this kind of rural area so you will have to rent a car if you are thinking of staying in Fontecchio. But otherwise, I rarely give out such great reviews on AirBNB - this is definitely an excellent choice, I truly recommend this place based on my great experience. Every time we encountered a minor issue, Fabrizio and Todd looked into it and took care of it at once, you can't ask for more. Thanks so much for a great holiday.

L'appartamento, situato in un palazzo storico e in pieno centro, è davvero ben curato e realizzato, arredamento di gusto e completo. C'è tutto il necessario per un soggiorno senza problemi, gli spazi sono ampi e ogni stanza era perfettamente pulita. Non c'è l'ascensore per arrivare al secondo piano, ma quando si dimora in un palazzo storico, che deve preservare la sua integrità, è più che normale. Stefano è stato un host preciso, amichevole e proattivo, molto disponibile sia per check in che per informazioni e consigli utili per la zona.

Ervis’s apartment is simply decorated with no clutter. Everything is spotlessly clean with beautiful large sliding glass doors looking directly on the Adriatic Sea. There is a huge balcony off of the living space and a large balcony with a washing machine off of the master bedroom. Plenty of space and great windows throughout the apartment too. There is parking right at the apartment entrance with a locked security gated area. Ervis gave us great restaurant recommendations and a good price on his beach rentals which are directly across the street. The street is lined with shops and restaurants and a beautiful “Lungomare” for walking. So lovely and convenient! We loved this area and really enjoyed his apartment. Thank you, Ervis!
