Great stay. Perfect location, lovely little house perfect for our needs and really quiet.

The consistency of reviews led me to book and just says it all. 3 generations, all very happy....we usually eat out a fair bit but enjoyed the space so much we barely did. The feeling is of a huge, comfortable house with an immediately homely and easy air. The kitchen is as at home...every utensil..even a baking cupboard..not treading on eggshells in a cold corporate space, but sharing a family home which has clearly been a haven for generations. Thank you to Joy for her lovely proactive tips...we slept soooo well....and made the most of every moment...the sign of a week well spent in the most comfortable of places.

Absolutely stunning location! The views are outstanding and the private access direct to the estuary/beach is great. The garden is steep but that’s to be expected, we made great use of the pool and hot tub and it was an added bonus that we could use the paddle boards! The house its self is beautiful and spotlessly clean. A few things do need sorting though, there was the odd missing door handle, bifold doors are hard to use and the master bathroom door didn’t close. However these didn’t bother us at all as everything else was perfect. Easy walking distance to Crantock and Fistral beaches, which were both beautiful. We would 100% book again! Thank you for a fantastic stay :)

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Caroline’s place! We loved the freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam on arrival. Check in was super easy as the key was just left in the door. Our little boy Myles loved watching the alpacas too! Overall very pleasant and refreshing stay I would recommend!

This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.

Personally, I loved the pool and our dog loved the gardens. Nicola and the family were great hosts, just the right amount of 'chit chat'. We really enjoyed our stay and found lots to do in the area. Nicola's information pack was brilliant and helpful. The cottage was well equipped and just right for our needs. Beautiful inside and easy to keep clean with the dog. I don't think the photos do it justice. The gardens were vast as were the surrounding walks. A great stay; very comfortable and relaxed :)

We had such a lovely stay here, it was really clean, in a great location to travel around, lovely amount of space. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay 😊

This was the best Airbnb we have stayed at to date. We wanted a place for our family to visit and be together for the few days we were in Falmouth. It became apparent as soon as we got there the time spent in the property was going to be enjoyable and the way the property was laid out everyone could be involved in the celebrations at the same time. We will definitely be in contact again and will certainly recommend Ric's place to any of our friends if they ever want to stay in Falmouth.

A gorgeous house within walking distance of Hayle beach. The house was brilliantly appointed and was very comfortable. Gorgeous views over the estuary enhanced our stay. Annie was a great host - very responsive and informative.

This house is perfect. Clean, extremely spacious with a delightful garden complete with table and chairs, leading on to the stream. This is our second stay, another one booked for the autumn and already thinking about next year. A real home from home, in a delightful village and with good neighbours. Can’t fault it at all.

Very spacious property in a lovely, quiet location. Enjoyed cooking on the Aga - which kept the downstairs really warm. The hosts were very quick at responding to any questions or concerns. Suited our needs very well.

What a find! Pete’s place is right smack in the middle of pretty Penryn town, with its abundance of pubs/cafes and shops but totally private and very quiet. It’s an oasis of beautiful art and cosy furnishings with intrinsic attention to detail which made me smile entering every room. As soon as we arrived I sunk into the space like it was my own home, relaxing in the colourful and sweet environment that Pete has created. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with gorgeous Earth ware and really decent quality cooking pots etc. And then there is the studio at the bottom of the magical garden! Perfect for yoga/reading/chilling out. The beds are comfy, the shower powerful and hot, the sofa super spacious (hard to stay awake on!) with a great projector for films/tv. We went with our two boys aged 5 & 8 (and dog!) and will absolutely be taking them back next year. Thank you Pete for allowing others to share your space, it is absolutely one of the most wonderful houses I’ve ever been to.

We had a really wonderful stay in Polvenna beachhouse. The house is clean, spacious and light, with a cosy, beachy interior. The beds and showers are great and the kitchen is very well equipped. We all loved the amazing view and the sound of the waves when lying in bed at night. It was really magical. Porthtowan has a great beach. We loved the rockpool and rented surfboards. The village store is a short walk down and sells fresh bread. Nearby St. Agnes is lovely and has some great restaurants. This is a good place to visit the rest of Cornwall from. Don’t hesitate to book!

Really enjoyed our stay, we felt right at home and it also felt so private. Just what we needed for our break away! Great amenities and the local area was gorgeous, we spent the week doing some gorgeous coastal walks and relaxing! Highly recommend!

We spent 5 days I Falmouth visiting our daughter and stayed at The Lookout. What an amazing place we felt very at home the house was very clean and beautifully presented. The hot tub was amazing and my husband and I and adult children loved it, we had lovely time spending time together as my daughter is at university in falmouth. As an added bonus to our trip our son turned 18 so was the perfect place to celebrate. Thank you Mike for being a welcoming and responsive host, would definitely recommend The Lookout as a perfect stay.

Being in Cornwall is beautiful, and having a nice place to call home after travelling daily to various parts is wonderful. Thank you Becky for providing us with that place.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sarah’s place! It was everything we were looking for to spend a few days away for New Year’s. With two families, four children, a baby, and a dog, the house was perfect—so cozy, and the surrounding views were absolutely stunning. Sarah was incredibly responsive and provided us with plenty of great recommendations to make our stay even better. She also had lots of board games that the children really enjoyed, adding to the fun. We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner in the dining room, listening to music and soaking in the festive atmosphere. We’ve made some amazing memories during our week here that we’ll cherish forever. We loved it so much that we ended up staying an extra night. We will definitely be back to this beautiful farmhouse!

What a gem! The upper beach house is a fantastic find with the most wonderful scenic view to look out to. The house is spacious, homely and full of all the amenities to feel home from home. The outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. With just a one minute walk to the beach and costal path, the location was perfect. Gareth was a great host, responsive and clear instructions. A brilliant stay!!

Lovely quiet location, close drive from anywhere you'd want to be. Maryann was very friendly and attentive, as well as the goats. Perfect place for a small family or couples with small children. Already looking at when we can return.

We recently returned from an amazing three-night stay at this stunning home and cannot express enough how impressed we were. The décor is beautiful, with every detail in the home reflecting a high standard of quality. As a group of six, the house was perfect for us with it’s fabulous mix of comfortable/relaxing social spaces and split level bedrooms. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful living area with its gorgeous sea views and enjoyed leisurely breakfasts in the lovely dining/kitchen space. The house is incredibly well-equipped, offering everything we could need and more. Although we couldn't explore some of the recommended local restaurants due to being in the local area for a music festival, we wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area in search of a luxurious stay. Communication with Iveta before, during, and after our trip was excellent, providing all the necessary instructions that we needed. Overall, we had an amazing time in this beautiful home!

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!

Great accommodation and location, a fantastic bolt-hole to explore the area. Can’t fault anything, more spacious inside than we expected and enjoyed the private garden. We particularly enjoyed visiting all the local beaches, walking around Rosemullion head, having a pint at the Ferryboat Inn and Pandora Inn. The village shop is particularly outstanding. The Red Lion is walkable for a nice meal. Hotel Meudon is also walkable for afternoon tea, drink at the Bar. The cafe on the beach at Maenporth Beach is good value. Beautiful Trebah gardens is very close by. If the accommodation is available, book it!

Lovely house, well equipped and very comfortable in a central location for visiting beaches and places of interest. We had a great long weekend stay with the family.
