Set away from the crowds the cottage was an idyllic spot to take in the ambience of the beautiful mountainous countryside. The cottage was very spacious with lovely touches such as cake, flowers & fresh milk in the fridge. The master bedroom was very comfortable and the entire property was very homely and inviting. Although the weather prevented us from eating breakfast outside the views from the dining room table were equally as stunning. It also had a stocked games cupboard, which led to an intense Tiddlywinks battle. We were only here for one night, but we would not hesitate a return stay. Once we had returned home we received a message from the host informing us that we had left a coat behind. Graciously they helped return it, which we really appreciated.

We really enjoyed staying here! It was really peaceful, with lots of great walks nearby. We really made good use of the fire pit. Defo would recommend preparing for colder nights than we did, but otherwise we had quite a comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at David’s apartment. The apartment is very nicely decorated, especially the bedroom which has a lovely view. The location is great as a base for exploring the area, with Snowdonia near by. There are also lots of beautiful walks you can do from the village. David has thought of everything you need for a wonderful stay with lots of breakfast supplies, like cereals, milk, and even bacon and eggs! Plus, lots of recommendations for walks and restaurants. Highly recommended as a base for seeing this beautiful part of the world!

Incredible stay at Jan & Chris' lovely house. The interiors were lovely, clean, modern and cosy, and it was extremely well equipped including a very generous breakfast offering which saved us going to the shops! Also very responsive hosts. Would definitely stay again if we're ever back in the area! Thanks so much.

Most comfortable, stylish and welcoming Airbnb we have stayed in. The surrounding countryside is spectacular and Gorse Barn is only 15 minutes from several great sites to visit, like Bodnant Gardens and Conwy Castle. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Will certainly return to this beautiful place.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ June 2025 We stayed here for 4days in June 2025 and had a fantastic time. The location was peaceful and the surroundings absolutely beautiful—the hot tub was real highlight,and made the stay extra special,just what we needed for a relaxing break from busy city life. The booking process was smooth, and Andrea was a brilliant host—always helpful and quick to reply whenever we had any questions. The property was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed. The dogs on the property were friendly and very sweet. As soon as we returned each day, they’d come over to greet us! Even though we’re not big dog lovers, we really didn’t mind—they were well trained and added to the charm of the stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

A wonderful stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to rebook. A lovely warm and welcoming property with beautiful views. A peaceful location but still easy to access the many things to do in the area. The garden was lovely, safe for the dogs and I only wish we’d had more time to enjoy it. The cottage had everything you could ask for utensil and equipment wise, even dog bowls. We didn’t use the washing machine much but great to have it and the tumble dryer if needed. The garage was large and great for storage of kit. Parking for our large car wasn’t a problem but we did use only have one vehicle. A previous review said the house was tired and dated in places. You could see this in places if looking for it, but we saw a wonderfully comfortable and welcoming property which was a brilliant base for our holiday. We were a party of 4 with 3 dogs and had plenty of space. We would definitely recommend and would check here first when we return to the area. Thank you!

We had the most wonderful week in Karen’s cosy bungalow with our 3 year old daughter Willow. It was truly stunning. The views of the beach, the sea and the mountains are breathtaking. We saw an amazing sunset from the garden six out of our seven nights there. The bungalow was spotless and we received a lovely welcome hamper and some delicious cheese on our arrival. The bed linen was so soft. Karen is such a lovely host and gave us clear instructions on how to find the bungalow and answered questions straight away. It was an absolute pleasure to stay in Karen’s bungalow and I cannot recommend it highly enough. She even came to say hello just before we went home. We have already booked for the sane week next year.
