Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Pepin County

We originally booked this place fully intending to explore town the night before a wedding. But we quickly decided to have a night in. Loved this place because: -The bed was very comfy, and I found it easy to go to sleep. -It is RIGHT across the street from the Mayo Clinic, great for guests who are receiving care. -The distance to downtown is walkable and the walk is scenic. -The layout works really well for socializing with family. -The kitchen was well prepared for cooks. Hope to stay again and see Eau Claire.

Great space and views towards the river. River access not far away. We kayaked near there and Gina /Troy had several U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service maps available. So much to do and see nearby so rain and chilly weather wasn't a deterrent. We only encountered very friendly and helpful people. Great place to explore.

My son just graduated from UWEC and over the last few years Ive stayed at a few of Lauras rentals. Each time has been perfect. The house is always clean quiet and well kept.

Joan, John and Tucker were exceptional hosts! Our stay was everything we needed after a long day of traveling. Joan was super responsive. Her and John were so accommodating for us and our pup! The yard was amazing, so private, we had a fire and let our pup explore the yard. The hummingbirds were a bonus to watch. Their place was super clean, had all we needed and more and was so quiet and peaceful. It was a bonus our pups got to play with each other, our pup enjoyed it so much, he hardly wanted to leave! Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying at this location and we can not wait until we go back. Tim is great with quick response time and his location with so peaceful and beautiful. It’s a great location to take a break from reality and decompress.

It was a great place to stay! Quiet neighborhood. Great host, grocery store 5 mins away.

We enjoyed staying here. We had come to ride bikes but it ended up raining almost the entire time so we walked around and there were parks and trails all over. The house was older but in very good shape and had a lot of character. We spent more time inside than we wanted because of the rain but it was a nice place to do so. Very comfortable.

Hogstad is fabulous as usual! Rachel is a superior host. I can't speak highly enough about the property or Rachel! Thank you for having us, yet again. No doubt we'll be back!

This property is utterly blissful! The home is luxurious, comfortable, and fully stocked with thoughtful amenities. Every surface, inside and out, was sparkling clean and well cared for. The property is serenely beautiful, and the views will take your breath away. The pool was the finest of any Airbnb pool we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying: pristine, well heated, and meticulously cared for by a kind gentleman who went above and beyond to ensure perfection. The sunsets over the fire pit are priceless. Correspondence with the host was immediate, helpful, and friendly. We are verklempt! Thank you sincerely for sharing this treasure with us!

Great visit to a great little City. Pool was open and clean - which the kids loved. Felt nice and clean and newly remodeled.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the house! It’s centrally located, yet quiet at night, and the neighbors we ran into were very friendly. Our kids loved the heated pool (and the amazing pool toys!), and it was great being so close to the lake - each morning we walked the path/sidewalk to spot eagles and other wildlife. One night, we built a bonfire in the solo stove - super fun. Beau was also very communicative and responsive. Definitely a trip to remember!

Great place and beautiful view of the lake!

The home was the perfect size and accommodation for our group! The view and the yard are spectacular. We all had a great time catching up. Just a couple things to note. Ubers, lyfts, and local taxis are not easily accessible, especially if you have a dinner reservation to make. The second is that you are expected to wash, dry, fold, and put away towels before check out, which we had never heard of having to do before, particularly with a higher cleaning fee. We honestly probably would have brought our own towels if we had known this. Overall we really enjoyed our time here!

It was a delightful tiny house, very clean and decorated beautifully!! It had a great view of Lake Pepin and was very quiet and peaceful. The trains were a little loud but it didn’t bother us! Thomas and Stephanie were the perfect hosts! Super easy to communicate with and they made us feel so welcome!

PHENOMENAL host and Amazing place. Extremely recommend everyone to come give it a try. Breathtaking views, super clean, unreal comfy. Will definitely be using again and again

My husband and I consider this one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! Sitting on the couch, watching the Mississippi go by, watching the boats, come and go, enjoying the Eagles and even the trains that went by just made this a magical place for us to stay. Then Stephanie and Tom have made sure that every single thing you could possibly need was available in the home ! We are coffee lovers, and they ever some graciously and shared. There was plenty of coffee available as well. Actually, can’t wait to possibly stay with Tom and Stephanie again !!!!

We had the perfect relaxing weekend in the Perle de Pepin tiny house. Stephanie and Tom were excellent hosts. From communication to a clean and cozy house. They thought of all the details (fire building materials, bug spray, ear plugs, bird watching books, binoculars, games, the comfiest pillows). Don’t forget the most beautiful views. We are already planning our next visit!

We enjoyed sitting on the patio, walking to the park, and making meals. The house was plenty spacious for four couples and some babies!

Thomas and Stephanie were friendly and accommodating! Everything was just as described. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

We rented all 3 of Katie's cabins for our son's wedding - worked out great for us!

Our stay at the Great River Flats on Pedin Lake was absolutely perfect! The property was beautiful, with stunning views of the lake that we enjoyed from sunrise to sunset. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the natural beauty all around us. We also loved how close (walking distance) we were to amazing restaurants and wineries — every meal was incredible, and the local wine selections were top-notch. Whether we were sipping a glass of wine by the water or exploring the nearby food scene, every moment felt special. We will return and stay here! Lake City is a hidden gem!
