This place was a true safe haven—especially for a solo woman traveler like myself. From the moment I arrived, I felt wrapped in warmth and care. Bhuvaneswari Amma is nothing short of a mother figure—generous, loving, and full of life. Her boisterous laugh echoes through the home, making it feel alive and welcoming. A farmer at heart, she lives simply but carries immense wisdom and perception. Her care is not performative—it’s deeply felt and freely given. Ani Anna is a quiet, grounding presence—always helpful, always kind. Together, they create a space that feels less like a rental and more like a home you didn’t know you missed. The amenities were thoughtful and comfortable—everything I needed was there, without fuss. The food, the surroundings, and the sense of peace made this stay deeply nourishing, both physically and emotionally. I left with a full heart, immense gratitude, and the sense that I had found something rare: genuine hospitality rooted in love and simplicity.

We only stayed for a single night as a layover for a connecting flight in Cochin. After having stayed for one night we realized we could have easily stayed for a week. The pictures make it justice but it is even more beautiful in reality. We felt very welcome immediately and got to meet the hosts as well as one of their children and a grandchild. They were so accommodating it almost felt like being part of family immediately. They were even up at 6AM to see us off for our flight. Jose also took us out on the river. To top it all off, the food was absolutely delicious and the pineapple they grow there was the best we’ve had.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail really stood out, and the ambiance made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and went out of their way to ensure we had a hassle-free experience. The location was perfect too—peaceful, yet close enough to everything we wanted to explore. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had, and I would gladly return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

We had a pleasant stay here. Sreerag and his family were great hosts. Their hospitality was remarkable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the feeling of a home away from home!

Vinoth is a great host. He was very responsive. It was a pleasure meeting him and his wife. The farm is in a very seclusive place. it was extremely peaceful with a beautiful view of the western ghats stretch. Cook Girija made us some authentic Kerala food. She is a very polite and a friendly person.

We had an amazing stay at Anjith's place, felt right at home. They were so welcoming & hospitable. We were assisted incredibly. They guided us & helped make our trip memorable.

NoThe host was very prompt and friendly to start with. He was almost always available to guide via text and he was even present to help check in when we arrived late. The room is cleaned and the bathroom was clean too . There were clean linens and towels and toiletries were present. The rooms are over a bakery in kollengode village. There is car parking available at the property. There are small eateries around for tea and snacks and meals. Definitely recommend enroute Nelliampathy.

The restoration of the property has been done beautifully – it’s evident that a lot of thought and care went into preserving the essence of the local architecture. The space feels authentic, well-curated, and full of positive energy. The staff were extremely polite, attentive, and responsible, taking special care of even the smallest details in the house. The host were amazing and had a great time with them !!! Every element reflects passion and respect for the original structure, making the stay truly memorable. It truly felt like every penny spent was worth it. The home-cooked food was another highlight – delicious, comforting, and made with love. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the experience.
