We experienced the people, culture, and history of Porto and the Douro Valley while staying at the beautiful accommodations at Heart-Tripe Mouzinho 32. The unit was impeccable in its decor and amenities, which even pictures can’t do justice. The location is also fantastic and allows easy access to restaurants, entertainment, historical landmarks, the waterfront, and the train station. Many thanks to our hosts for a wonderful time.

Staying at this beautiful place made my first visit to Porto truly memorable. The location was perfect—within walking distance to all the charming spots in the city center. It was also very quiet, which was ideal for a light sleeper like me. The view was absolutely spectacular. I highly recommend staying at Ani’s place! The host was very responsive and incredibly helpful throughout my stay.

Had a great stay! The unit was new, clean, and very comfortable, with fresh linens and perfect air conditioning—which was much appreciated in the hot weather. We really enjoyed the pool and pool deck, and the city views were a nice bonus. Would definitely stay again!

Delightful spacious place. A bit remote, but also nice and quiet. Everything present. Friendly owners. And delicious oranges from the tree for fresh juice! From here, you can quickly reach the Douro valley.

We had a lovely stay, but to appreciate the area you need a car! Although Fatima could not speak English, she was so friendly and generous! Breakfasts are ample! Thank you Paula and Fatima for giving us such a memorable stay in Ragua!

My young daughter and I stayed with Maria for two nights. The experience was absolutely incredible. The photos do not fully capture the stunning beauty of the gardens and the surrounding landscape. We felt like we were in a fairy tale. Maria was so kind to provide us with breakfast foods in the fridge with breads we could bake ourselves so they would be warm and fresh and all sorts of coffee, juice and tea. The space itself was beautifully decorated with antique furniture pieces and artwork. We still had the convenience of very fast internet which was great! The bathroom was super clean and modern, the bedroom was spacious and had everything we needed. I cannot wait to find the opportunity to come back and stay in one of the most magical places I have ever been!! Thank you Maria!!

Brilliant place to stay, great communication with the hosts, the air bnb was clean, tidy and the balcony was a lovely touch, worth noting the balcony only gets the sun during the morning/midday but this didn’t affect us. Little to no noise, the perfect base to explore Porto as everything is within 10/20 mins walking distance, would highly recommend 😊

A very central location. Spotless and spacious. Had an advanced door lock which meant no keys but very secure whilst being easy to access. I recommend to anyone visiting Porto.

I recommend this property highly and the two nights we stayed there were the best of the 4 other properties we stayed at that week by far. Fatima was spectacular at responding and the location of the property was fabulous as was the town of lamego ! We would go bs k and stay here again for sure.

Perfect place for the 4 of use to stay with private sleeping areas/rooms for both couples. Location is walkable to downtown and lots of great restaurants. Fabulous value!

Marli is a very busy hard working person who always made time to help us and respond to questions we had. We enjoyed Armamar and Marli’s apartment. Quick access by car to the Douro River. Thank you again Marli.

Truly loved our stay at Paulo's place. Beautiful views of vinyards and hillsides with birds chirping in the trees. Paulo was friendly and helpful, offering advice on places to go and where to eat. Lovely restaurant located downstairs. I would recommend staying here for anyone looking to visit the Douro region. Train to Porto stops nearby at Aregos but don't let the short distance on the map deceive you. It's very hilly terrain and not walkable.

Wonderful space where heirlooms and children felt at home.

I stayed for 3 nights from the 5th of June 25 It wasn't a self check-in, but one of the hosts came and gave me the key and explained the house.(You don't have to do it, and I think self-check-in would have been comfortable for both of us...) The view was the best. The house was spacious, there were no bugs, it was clean, and the view of the Dowoo River was the best, so even if I didn't go to Moru Park, the view of the accommodation was good!! If I visit Porto again, it was a place to stay again. The interior of the house was nice, clean, and there were almost no bugs (maybe because we opened the window, we caught 2-3 mosquitoes and 1-3 flies, but we were very satisfied because there were no crawling bugs) and there was an elevator, and it was a place I wanted to come again. However, to mention the shortcomings in the accommodation description, it seems that there is no air conditioner (there are 2 fans instead), there are about 30 stairs to the first floor with an elevator, and the bed is very slightly stiff. It seems to be an Ikea product. There was a washing machine, but it took more than 2 hours and drying took about 2 hours.(I didn't use because I saw the water stains..haha) But despite that, considering the location view and cleanliness, I will stay again if I come next time. The place was one staircase up from the elevator but stairs were easy to navigate. The place is very modern with two patios that were very private. Jessica was very helpful and responsive. Was in a good location and enjoyed our stay in Porto.

Just perfect 2 min walk from restaurants and shops, just stunning views. They let us check in early at no extra costs, it was magnificent. Thank and will stay again very soon. Thank you once again.

Accommodation with a great view, the outdoor jacuzzi greatly enhances the stay

Our stay was joyful and relaxing. We were warmly welcomed by the host with delicious traditional bread. The area is beautiful and tranquil, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery, with the soothing sounds of nature. The garden, filled with citrus trees, was a delight, and the jacuzzi and barbecue area made our evenings perfect. Inside, the building was cozy and well-heated, with clean, comfortable beds and fresh linens. We enjoyed sunny days in the garden and even on the rainy night, the spacious kitchen was ideal for gathering. The host was flexible with check in/out and very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Stayed here in 19th June Loved everything Great choice of food in the bom de success - amazing place We were lucky on the way home as there was live music at the casa de musique ! Everyone dancing outside brilliant

Casa do Engenho is amazing. So far, the best place my family and I have rented for a 10-day stay. Near Braga, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, quiet and comfortable. We definitely recommend staying. Monica is a great hostess, friendly and always there for you!

The apartment is spacious and comfortable, accommodating three couples with ease. The location is a peaceful coastal suburb a short taxi ride from the centre of Porto, and the extensive balcony provides stunning views of the ocean, particularly at sunset. It is the perfect place to return to after a busy day sightseeing in the city. The taxi journey is quick and easy, and we were able to enjoy the many attractions of this beautiful city, alongside the more relaxing atmosphere of the many bars within walking distance of the apartment. The apartment is perfect for a group of friends to experience Porto.
