Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Petenwell Lake

This was a wonderful AirBnB! We (wife, toddler, two dogs, and myself) used this as a home base for our UWSP area adventures, and it was absolutely perfect. At only about 10-15 minutes from world class recreation and coffee, this is an ideal destination for people with or without kids. Feltz’s Dairy store is a must stop for families. House is in a beautiful setting overlooking a stunning lake. Lots of hot water in the shower, well equipped kitchen and plenty big bedrooms. Also had thoughtful touches for dog owners like towels for their paws. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a great weekend away with friends. The home was comfortable and very clean. Halina answered our questions and was very flexible with our check in. Already planning a trip to the same home next year!

We stayed at Sherry’s place when shooting in the high school trap tournament to save us drive time in the morning. It was convenient in that it is a 20 minute drive. It was beautiful area and most importantly clean.

We had a fantastic stay at the Rustic Shed while celebrating our parents’ 40th wedding anniversary! The space was perfect for our family gathering—cozy yet spacious, with plenty of thoughtful touches. We especially enjoyed the fun game room, the convenient fire pit for evening campfires, and the extremely comfortable sleeping arrangements. The bathrooms were impressively clean and roomy, which made the stay even more enjoyable for our whole group. The location was ideal—tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private, yet just a short drive from all the excitement in the Wisconsin Dells. Sondra was an exceptional host, providing clear, timely communication and some excellent local recommendations that really enhanced our visit. It was the perfect place for our family to relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories together. Highly recommended!

Kimberly & Kerry were great to work with, responsive and flexible. This place was perfect for our family and we would recommend it and/or stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was exactly as described. Very clean and well-maintained. It was the perfect peaceful weekend getaway. We especially loved the screened porch. It was such a relaxing spot to unwind. Highly recommend!

This place was amazing for our trip. When we were there it was nice and quiet and a great place to relax and play some games and enjoy a fire. When we come back to the area we will definitely be booking here again!

We had a great stay. This is my first time requesting an AirBNB and I was a little nervous. However Melissa made it feel simple and safe. Melissa checked in with me often which was really nice. I would definitely stay. There were a few plumbing which is out of anyone’s control but Melissa was much aware and made accommodation for my family. I appreciate her communication ! I will stay there next time for sure.

Great place to stay for a family wedding. Michelle was always very responsive and so helpful. She had a few extras included in the house that made it feel like home (k-cups for the adults and toys for the kids to play with)!

Such a lovely condo. Kurt was so responsive and helpful. So clean and smelled good as well. Everything was amazing and perfect. Will definitely be booking this amazing condo again.

Angela was wonderful! The home was beautiful, and spotless! She supplied many cooking utensils and lots of kitchen supplies which made meals easy! Our group of 10 stayed here comfortably and we can’t wait to come back! Angela responded promptly with any questions we had and made sure we felt welcome! The price is incredible, this home can’t be beat!

Very happy with our stay! The pictures online don’t do this place justice! Plenty of space to host a large family, inside and outside! The host really thought about all the details to bedding, the amount of towels, outside, inside furniture to even having walking paths with lights. We even ran into an issue with the garbage cans outside filling up sooner then we thought and once I reached out to the host less than an hour he had someone come empty them and bring an extra bin. The stay felt welcoming and safe being in someone else’s home. Would highly recommend this place to family and friends!

A quaint little cabin just a 2 min walk to the lakefront and you can see the sunset over the lake from the front porch! Located inside a private campground and nestled all the way in the back so it’s wonderfully private, but also only a short drive to stores/restaurants/bars !

The house was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, and sledding/playing outdoors in the snow! The location is peaceful & beautiful. Our family of three plus two dogs had a great stay at Rebel's place! We loved that the cabin was set far back from the road, so our pups could safely explore the property. The setting is very serene and the only noises we heard were from the birds and frogs at the pond. The cabin itself was well stocked with everything we could need and the town of Hillsboro was just a short drive away. We would definitely return!

Just returned from our second stay at Olivia’s property. Everything was just as described. My son and his friends enjoyed fishing off the dock immensely. They even used the canoes and kayaks and went fishing out on the river and had such good luck catching big fish. It was really the highlight of our trip. The ACE in town has great bait selections. We cooked almost every meal and they have everything you need to make that easy. Checkout was a breeze.
