Quiet country house with amazing views

Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets, deer strolling through the yard, hear the coyotes howl, amazing views of the stars, peaceful and quiet. Located 7 miles from interstate 90 about halfway between Rapid City and the black hills and Wall, SD and the badlands. The last 2 miles to house is a gravel road. We continue to make improvements, now have a 3rd and 4th bedrooms located in the basement, one with queen size bed, other with full size bed , both rooms have egress windows for safety

This is a stand alone property with open great room including living room area, dining area, fully furnished kitchen/laundry. There are three bedrooms, 2 baths, AC, TV, outdoor grill, firepit, and large open front porch for relaxing. It is surrounded by a generous fenced yard. Breakfasts, with 24 hour notice, ($$) are available a mile down the road at the B & B.

The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. The microwave is air fryer/microwave. This is a Great Little House with Rustic yet Modern Charm, Beautiful View of the Cheyenne River Breaks. Two very comfy king sized beds. Wasta is a "very" small town, a gas station, a fabulous military museum and a bar. You can take in the Badlands on your way, you might drop down through Interior, S.D. and drive through the Badlands then come out just south of Wall. We are about 20 miles from the Badlands, 40 miles from Rapid City, and Beautiful Black Hills. Thank You, Billie

Wow! Our only disappointment is that we couldn't stay longer! Easily one of our favorite AirBnBs ever - and we travel quite a bit. Our accommodations were perfect - very clean, neat, peaceful. The property is stunningly beautiful - the views and the sky are vast - we even enjoyed some star gazing late at night - so many stars! We enjoyed the ranch critters - the chickens, the peafowl, the mules...so much fun. The hospitality was tremendous - Amy was very responsive, and instructions were easy to follow. We felt pampered - we both agree that we will absolutely book again, although the next time we hope to be able to stay longer than one night!

I had a one wonderful evening of solitude at the cabin, and I'll return again in a heartbeat with my entire family. What a spectacular spot. The listing makes it clear, but all prospective guests should take note - no plumbing, no electricity. Outhouse/vault is a few steps away from the cabin. You bring your own everything, including bedding. You are completely alone out there, except for the sounds of the birds and the coyotes. Paradise! Note also that the stream was very shallow and silty and not swimmable when I was there in September. Not sure if the level rises much in the spring, but looks like it! Thanks Amy and Phil!

Amy and Phil’s place is beyond beautiful and a must-stay if considering Badlands National Park. Everything was well thought out in the accommodations. It is a perfect spot for a family reunion, and that’s exactly what I’d like to do with my own soon.
