We stayed at this property for a special family event, and it was truly fantastic. It comfortably hosted our whole family and exceeded every expectation we had. The space was thoughtfully designed for all ages — from grandparents to kids — and everyone had a wonderful time. The facilities were exceptional, with everything we needed and more. It’s rare to find a place that balances comfort, functionality, and beauty so well. We made treasured memories here, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a stay that brings people together in the best possible way. Such a beautiful place for a holiday. Beachy, modern interior with very clean bathrooms. We appreciated the handwash, shampoo etc. that was provided. Deck was huge with a good view of surrounding hills, the perfect place to chiIl and view local wildlife. Bonus that this neighbourhood is fenced off from the dingoes. If you plan on cooking, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils, kitchenware, and a large fridge. Bedrooms are spacey, with plenty of wardrobe space, and the beds are very comfortable. The pool table was a hit with the whole family. Self Checkin/checkout process was easy, and Jan was very responsive to any enquiries during our stay. Thank-you to Jan for such a comfortable stay. We will definately book again!

We chose Joanne's property specifically for the location as it was close to family and we enjoyed our stay alot. The property is quirky, the views spectacular and the location peaceful. Unfortunately the weather gods were not on our side the weekend we stayed which did prove challenging, given some of the properties features. Those who stayed in the granny flat had an experience which was more like glamping. There is no way to enter the separate container, and the bathroom which is in a shed close by, without being fully exposed to the weather. Which meant dark, wet walks, across sodden grass. Whilst we were fulky aware of this setup when we booked it did impact our stay and is mentioning. The weather aside, we would definitely choose to stay again, in the hopes for finer weather. We would love to be able to fully enjoy the wonderful outdoor areas this property offers!

What a find to be able to stay at Wendy's place. The duplex was extremely clean. The extras were great such as pushbikes to get yourself around the esplanade. Easy walk to the espanade and that wonderful jetty that goes forever, and a double garage. We had no trouble checking in and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Especially as next door was a great little art gallery! I would thoroughly recommend Wendy's place as THE place to stay if you are visiting Hervey Bay.

Had a wonderful stay! Loved the house was beautifully presented and had a really relaxing feel to it especially the fairy lights at night. Awesome location right across from the beach. Will definitely stay again.

It was a pleasure staying at Michelle’s home! My friend and I stayed 5 nights spending quite a bit of our time at home due to constant rain. We found it in perfect condition, clean with everything we needed and more. Thank you Michelle 🌻

Rebecca was more than helpful. The house showcased a classic queenslander style. The balcony provided uninterrupted views of the ocean and pier, great sunrises and sunsets. The home was clean and comfortable. All the amenities were good, 2 TV's, coffee machine, dishwasher etc. We enjoyed our stay very much taking in all the things Hervey Bay has to offer. Very relaxing weekend. Quiet neighbourhood and the beach wasn’t even a minutes walk. Bed very comfortable and plenty of kitchen utensils and very decent shower pressure. Loved the pizza oven and plenty of equipment to prep your pizzas. Convenience store was an easy walk or a short drive and restaurant 5 min drive. Would defiantly book again! Thank you Sarah for a great experience.

Claudia’s house was in the best location, close by the beach and walking distance to the pier. She as so helpful at both check in and check out and the house was exactly like the pictures. We loved our week here!!

Marilyn’s house is clean, spacious, bright and has a beautiful view of the sea and the K’gari island in the distance. The huge verandah with the relaxing furniture offers much enjoyment looking out onto the sea and Fraser Island . Everything in the house shows the love and warmth that Marilyn has, for her guests, because it feels home welcoming after a day out. A good supply of tea, coffee, butter, milk and more on arrival is a lovely gesture. She is truly a super host with much kind attention to the details of cleanliness and the quality of kitchen utensils. We have travelled widely and have used Airbnb accommodation in Europe (Spain, Italy, Greece ), Hong Kong, England, Wales, New Zealand and Australia, we realise that Marilyn’s house is very special because the host is exceptional. We were pleased to meet up with Marilyn on the day before our last day of stay. She is a jolly kind lady with much energy to make the house a great place for her guests to stay and enjoy. Thank you.

I recently had a brief overnight stay at Clever's place - the Boma. The place was immaculate, accurately described, peacefully located & to top it all of Clever was extremely responsive and helpful - he even left my family and i small but meaningful touches such as Welcome water & chocolates. Clever's place, The Boma was an exceptional but short stay which made us wish we had spent more time there. I highly recommend Clever and his place The Boma to all! Thanks Clever

Michael's house was amazing. It had so many amenities and it was perfect for our large group. The back of the home had a short path to the beautiful beach at Toogoom. The area was perfect for a quiet getaway for the family. The house was neat, clean and tidy. Everything we needed for a short stay was provided for us.

Beautiful place , very welcoming . Gary Went above and beyond to help us with our needs & was responsive and helpful . Gardens very nice and well maintained , clean tidy comfortable outdoor seating . Would definitely stay again , and will be recommending to friends and family visiting Hervey Bay .
