Wir hatten einen wunderbaren, wenn auch leider viel zu kurzen Aufenthalt in Ivans wunderschönem Haus. Selten sehen bei Airbnb Unterkünfte noch besser aus als auf den Fotos, aber bei Ivan stimmte einfach alles. Da unsere Airline uns den Flug nach Pico storniert hatte, kamen wir viel später als geplant erst am späten Abend an, aber Ivan war die ganze Zeit via Nachrichten für uns da und begrüßte uns auch nach 22 Uhr noch unglaublich herzlich und zeigte uns sein wundervolles Haus, in dem auch schon ein paar hausgemachte Leckereien auf uns warteten. Der Meerblick vor der Terrasse ist einfach wundervoll! Leider waren wir viel zu kurz auf der Insel, um noch mehr Zeit dort zu verbringen und mehr von Ivans Empfehlungen zu folgen, aber wir kommen bestimmt wieder und würden dann immer wieder hier übernachten wollten. The home was clean, absolutely well-modern-equipped, and thoughtfully designed to make the most of the natural surroundings. Our hosts were kind and responsive. The host representative Helena was very friendly and provided great local tips that made our stay even more special. Fijn en warm ingericht appartement waar je je gelijk thuis voelt met prachtig uitzicht over de oceaan! Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Locatie is prima om het eiland te verkennen. Marianna is een zeer plezierige en behulpzame vrouw met goede tips. Aanrader!

Our family of 7 spent a wonderful week at Paula’s magical WakaLand compound. We spread out in all 3 houses( 2 with WiFi and 1 without) and enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful location. The houses were clean and well outfitted with all of the necessities. The pool, BBQ , outside seating at each house and beautiful landscaping made it difficult to leave the property to explore the island of Pico. Paula was always responsive and provided excellent information regarding local restaurants, tour companies and things to do on the island. She even purchased a washing machine so that we could do laundry on site. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at WakaLand and hope to return soon!

Super schöne Unterkunft! Praktisch, modern und schön eingerichtet. Gepflegt und sehr sauber. Ruhige Lage, Privatsphäre. Parkplatz direkt vor der Unterkunft. Ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht, es fehlte uns an nichts. Sehr bemühte und nette Gastgeber - hilfsbereit, schnell erreichbar, proaktiv und sehr gastfreundlich. Wir würden die Unterkunft mit schöner Aussicht und Terrasse sehr weiterempfehlen und auch sofort wieder buchen. Top!

Pedro's Haus, die Casa Rosa Chá in Santo Amaro war für uns der perfekte Ort, um die Insel Pico zu erkunden. Ruhig gelegen, mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und São Jorge. Jedoch schnell und gut von überall erreichbar. Das Haus war makellos sauber, die Küche top ausgestattet. Bettwäsche, Handtücher alles sehr schön und hochwertig. Ein wunderbarer Platz auf der Terrasse zum Essen mit Sonnenauf- und Untergang. Schöner Grillplatz mit Pizzaofen auch bei Regen nutzbar. Rundum ein perfekter Platz für einen Urlaub auf der Insel Pico. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die tolle Kommunikation mit Pedro, der sich schon im Vorfeld immer darum gekümmert hatte, unseren Aufenthalt perfekt zu gestalten. Der Empfang durch Débora war herzlich und ihre ausführlichen Informationen über Pico waren sehr hilfreich. Vielen Dank, dass ihr uns einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt ermöglicht habt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

La maison de Maud est très jolie, la vue sur l'océan est magnifique. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, la communication avec Maud était rapide et simple. Nous avons souvent fait la cuisine et il y avait tous les ustensiles nécessaires, et même quelques provisions. Le parking était plus compliqué, comme indiqué dans l'annonce, et nous avons préféré nous garer en face de la maison sur le bord de la route. Les voitures passent assez proche de la maison, mais une fois les volets fermés le bruit est limité. La maison est humide et il n'y a qu'un déshumidificateur, s'il pouvait y en avait un dans chaque pièce ça serait plus efficace. Nous recommandons la maison de Maud pour votre séjour à Pico !
