So if you're looking for an old-fashioned rustic atmosphere, you've come to the right place. Pihlaja-aho's cabin is the only place in Finland where you can spend a unique alpaca holiday. The 1.3 ha of natural meadows of the croft are grazed by three nice alpaca boys, whose easy care you are responsible for independently and according to your own schedule.

Log cabin on the shore of Lake Saimaa

Hand-carved 100 sqm log cabin built in 1995 on the shores of Lake Saimaa. A peaceful environment just a few minutes' drive from the services of Varkaus city center. The place is well suited for a weekend of relaxation, as well as for a longer stay. Basic amenities and cooking utensils. In connection with the cottage, there is a very spacious wood-fired sauna. The hut in the yard and the barbecue shed are freely available. The cottage is suitable for year-round stays, but in the middle of winter it is worth bringing woolen socks with you :)

Log cabin on the shore of a quiet lake

This traditional log cabin offers a peaceful hideaway right on the shore of the lake. Carved from thick logs, the cabin exudes peace. The cottage has a high living room, a reserved fireplace, a kitchen, a spacious wood-burning sauna with benches and a shower, a dressing room, a toilet, a sleeping loft and a bedroom, a covered porch and a separate sauna for post-sauna cooling. In summer, the place has the special feature of the cowbell ringing in the adjacent, fenced forest pasture when a small herd arrives at the beach to drink.

Kaislan Tila

Kaislan Tila is located in the countryside, 22km north of Mikkeli. We live in the main building of the farm and there is a 65m2 separate apartment in the yard. The farm has animals and is surrounded by thousands of lakes in Eastern Finland and forest areas rich in natural resources. The nearby lake offers recreational opportunities, fishing, swimming, boating, etc. In the woods, you can ski, pick berries, pick mushrooms and just enjoy the peace and quiet. In winter, you can go snowshoeing, skiing and skating, weather permitting.

Villa Mustaniemi, 180-degree lake view

It is easy to relax in this unique and peaceful vacation resort. The bright and spacious cabin offers a 180-degree view of the lake, where you can see a pair of otters frolicking on the lake. You can also see a beaver family playing around in the nearby area. The separate sauna building also offers a beautiful view of the lake. There is a separate fee for the use of the outdoor hot tub, and its use must be arranged before the start of the reservation. A peaceful and beautiful cottage where it is easy to enjoy yourself.

Local transport stop is about 100m away and the railway station is about 400m away! Within walking distance you will also find; e.g. the market square, the cultural center Poleeni, the swimming pool, shops and markets. Pieksäjärvi's magnificent beach promenade is also nearby!

A modest dryland cottage welcomes small groups to the peace of nature. Peaceful location, closest neighbor about 0.5km away. The cottage has basic amenities like a dishwasher and washer. The cottage comfortably accommodates 4 people. The bedroom has a double bed and a sofa bed on the side of the cottage. It's possible to get more sleeping places on mattresses. A child-friendly beach is located about 5 km from the cottage. Pets can also be swam on the beach. Pets are welcome!
