Church of the Vaioni

An ancient deconsecrated church dating back to the early 1900s, originally built as a private chapel of Villa Philipson. Chiesino Dei Vaioni has a loft structure with two double bedrooms on two separate mezzanines. Outside, there is a kitchen with a wood-burning oven, private gardens with a tree-lined avenue and an olive grove. The gates and internal stairs were built by the Antica Fonderia Michelucci. Chiesino Dei Vaioni is immersed in the Tuscan countryside just minutes from the city.

The house, renovated a few years ago, is a typical structure that maintains the characteristics of Tuscan farmhouses. It is the last of a group of houses on the highest hill in the village of Pieve di Compito with a beautiful olive grove behind it. It has a well-kept garden, with plants characteristic of the area, in particular the ancient camellias of Lucca. The garden ends in a slope with grassy ledges cultivated with fruit. Myricae has a private courtyard where you can park your car.
