Dwarfskill preserve is such a majestic place, it feels as if you are stepping back in time to an untouched oasis in the woods. The native trout in The streams along the woods are plentiful and absolutely beautiful. These cabins are Worth the weekend getaway to unplug and reset. The hosts are amazing very friendly and responsive.

Cute little cabin for a relaxing getaway. The area was quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed the hot tub and provided games. We loved that we could bring our dog along as well!

This was our second time staying at Beartown Cottages. Walter and Florence are wonderful hosts, and the cabin is cozy, clean, and so peaceful. The grounds are kept very nicely as are the sauna and hot tub. We wish we could give more than five stars. Worth every penny, and we look forward to our next visit. Thank you!!

This was our second stay and everything was perfect. Cabin is beautiful, private, clean and well appointed. Love the views of the river and.hillsides. As a bonus we even saw eagles flying around muliple times during our weekend stay. Higly recommend..

It is a comforting stay with so many special personal touches in their decor and design . Located close to Promise Land State Park and Lake Wallenpaupack if you want to do some exploring .. or.. stay back to relax and the coziness it has to offer .. A treasure you need to experience if you like the outdoors .

I had the most incredible stay in this beautiful tiny home! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at peace. The space is thoughtfully designed, blending charm, comfort, and practicality in the most delightful way. Every detail—from the cozy loft bed to the clever storage solutions—made it feel both homey and inspiring. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee with a view was such a refreshing change from the usual routine. The surrounding nature added so much to the experience—quiet, serene, and perfect for unwinding.

The pictures really do not do this place justice! It truly was a nice and CLEAN stay, and I would totally stay here again. The place was a BIT confusing to find, but beautiful nonetheless. I recommend.

Beautiful surroundings, house is how it looks. Very basic. Could do with one or two upgrades. But overall it is accurate to listing. Good to note; there is another rental unit in the house and the walls are not very soundproof.

This Cabin is a beautiful romantic setting with privacy and peaceful surroundings. The bed is beautiful and very comfortable with extra pillows and covers for chilly nights. We loved the fireplace! We visited late May and we had rain every day with highs in the 40’s and it was still a perfect cozy place to enjoy our 43rd Anniversary.

I had an amazing stay at Nicola’s place! It was the perfect escape from city life, offering a peaceful and beautiful setting that helped me truly unwind. Nicola was a fantastic host, always responsive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The highlight for me was the large fenced backyard, which was a dream for my American Akita. He loved exploring the space surrounded by nature and felt completely at ease throughout our stay. It's rare to find a place that not only welcomes dogs but also provides such a spacious area for them to exercise and play. The entire property was immaculate, and every detail was thoughtfully prepared. I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway, and I’m already looking forward to coming back!
