The Lodge at Mossy Creek is a 1904 historic building in downtown Jefferson City Tennessee, adjacent to Carson Newman University, 3 miles from Cherokee Lake, .5 mi to historic Glenmore Mansion, Mossback Distillery and several local eateries. The building served as the Jefferson City City Hall from 1929- 1989. Our beautifully restored building houses the Heritage & Visitor Center at Mossy Creek, Revisions Gift Shop, Patriot Wood Fired Pizza, and 3 upscale lodging rooms.

Small hotel near South Mountain State Park, perfect for hikers, explorers, and anyone seeking a peaceful nature retreat. We’re in the process of reopening, with some tidying up and repairs still underway. The pool isn’t open yet, and the exterior is being organized, but if you don’t mind that, this is a quiet, secluded, and affordable getaway. We’re only hosting a limited number of guests right now, and we’d love to have you stay with us!

This building was home to the original 1908 post office. It recently received its second full renovation with modern amenities while preserving its original corridors and doors making way for its new life as a boutique hotel space. Downtown Elizabethton is committed to ongoing revitalization projects including tourism enhancement, public art projects, and building renovations.
