Family-friendly holiday rentals in Pittsburg

Beautiful house 5 minutes from mountain. Very comfortable for 6 adults and 4 teenagers. New and immaculate. Would stay again.

We had an unfortunate situation in which construction workers were not done with a project as the rental company anticipated they would be. Our stay was impacted by the construction and the rental agency was very transparent and generous to reimburse our stay for the inconvenience. Would definitely recommend this beautiful oasis and will hopefully be staying again myself in the future!

Close to the United States so fresh if they have made For the Milky Way chalet, I was expecting this theme inside too. But too much decoration that has no relation, rooster, wolf, butterfly, etc. On the other hand in the spas, the view, the sky that really represented the name of the cottage. Would I go back? Yes, without hesitation. For the price it's worth it. The beach not far away is a plus;-). I loved my stay;-)

This is as picturesque of a ski cabin as they come. Everything was clean and tight. Far enough into the mountains with a clean up to date feel including Lutron radio RA3 switching. Cleaning fees were a little steap, but we are clean and neat people so im sure they are set to expect the worst. 10 for 10 would rent this house again.

I was happy to return to stay at Deb's, this time around in the studio loft. It was very spacious and comfortable and included anything that you might want or need. It was a perfect spot for me to rest while watching ski races at Black Mountain for the weekend. Thanks for being a wonderful host once again, Deb!

I had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place! From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. Julia was a fantastic host: responsive, kind, and attentive to every detail, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The location was perfect, and the space felt like a true home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. This home is warm and welcoming from the minute you walk through the front door. The comfortable furnishings and woodland decor are quite fitting for a Maine cabin. We also enjoyed the private setting that the location offers. The Floor plan was perfect for our needs and is quite suitable for a guest size of six. The kitchen was well equipped and had lots of spices for cooking. The Jacuzzi is perfect for stargazing and catching up after a long day on the slopes!

We had a great stay! We had three families staying together and we had plenty of space to spread out and everyone had their own space. Super convenient location for skiing. We were too late in the season for ski in/ski out, but it was a short drive to the Barker lodge and there was plenty of parking.

We had a great time at the cabin! The new deck is beautiful and the lake is very peaceful and quiet. The cabin is located centrally to most of the things you want to do in the area. We heard lions every day and great stargazing at night. We’ll be back.

The Woods Cabin was fantastic, we had so much fun hiking in the area and swiming in the Pond. It was very quiet and set up nicely for our family to relax.

This is our second time staying here. It is easily our favorite place to stay when coming to East Burke! Great trail access and the host are wonderful people.

Absolutely beautiful location. Views of the lake from every window make the cozy spot feel more spacious. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the water, napping on the hammock, dining on the porch or watching the hummingbirds. Incredibly private lot that was so quiet and peaceful. Fully stocked with anything you could need. Games, first aid and staple spices. Use of the Canoe and paddleboard added lots of fun and fires at night to round off a perfect camp stay. So glad we found this beautiful gem!

We enjoyed our stay! A great place in a private setting and beautiful view!! A large older home with comfortable rooms that are nicely decorated and well cared for. The fire pit with Adirondack chairs provided another cozy place to relax. When it was raining we enjoyed playing chess and spending time in the spacious screened porch. This is a lovely older home and we appreciated the style and details an older home offers. There were some ladybugs that hung out in a small entryway, but they weren’t bothersome and they definitely wouldn’t stop us from renting again.

We had a great stay in Colebrook again. Love the house. I would recommend renting the barn and house together, very comfortable and functional for larger groups. They have a renovated chicken coupe also that would be great if you needed more room. Great spot!

We had an amazing stay! The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The view of the lake was spectacular. On the rainy days there was still plenty to do: lots of games, ping pong, foosball and comfortable places to sit and read. On the nice weather days we were out on the water all day boating, kayaking and paddle boards, all which were in perfect condition! We are so grateful to have made lifelong memories with our family in this beautiful lake house! Thank you!

We had a wonderful experience staying at the White Cap A condos. Our place was peaceful, clean, and the surrounding area offers many activities and beautiful views.

Wonderful weekend. The spot was ski-in and out making it truly accessible. The outdoor hot tub was a nice way to end the day. It's a little odd to access through the pool but the over experience was great! Highly recommend.

What a gorgeous location! So pretty, beautiful trail along the property with lovely pool and hot tub. It felt like being in a home and not an Airbnb. Highly recommend!

The place is clean. It has close access to the slopes for ski in ski out + skinning up barker. I'd definitely recommend if you are going to sunday river

The home was beautiful and exactly as pictured. We especially loved the hot tub and the outdoor fire pit, such great touches for a relaxing stay. The space had everything we needed, and we felt right at home. We’d absolutely stay again in the future if welcomed back!

Great on mountain accommodation. Clean and well appointed for all the basic things you will need. Bethel has some nice dining and museum options for when the weather doesn't cooperate.

We had a fantastic stay even with a power outage that impacted the entire Sunday River area. Hosts kept us updated and in the loop. This is a terrific ski in/ski out condo. With 2 children it’s great having the extra beds. You can pay a lot more for a lot less. We also love coming “home” for lunch during the day. It beats trying to find a table in the lodge! Amenities were great. I would say bring extra towels for the pool. Some condo communities provide them but this one does not. Overall a clean and cozy condo, highly recommend this place for a ski vacation.

Great place to stay, clean and well equipped. Be prepared to walk up three LONG flights of stairs but worth it. The outdoor community pool was not very warm and the gas fireplace was not an easy start. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole unit was very clean and extremely comfortable. Communication was excellent. Looking forward to a return trip. Listing claims there is NO hair dryer but there is one. Pretty enjoyable stay.
