Cottage holiday rentals in Placer County

Our best winter (Christmas trip) yet! My family & I have been spending Christmas week in Tahoe for years and this home is the first property that we want to come back to again! It is a mixture of the listing is a home and has all the comforts of an actual home. The location is amazing for skiing, dinning, shopping and still being walkable to "backcountry" trails. Lel is an amazing host and her heart to serve is what makes staying there that much better. She really took care of us for some of our winter adventures! As an Airbnb host myself, Lel's place (including her as a host) is the full package!

This home worked well for our needs. It was a little far from our event, but is a beautiful and peaceful farm. Rebecca was very responsive and helped us through a few issues. She couldn’t have been nicer!

Cara’s place is a gem and we’re glad we found it. The perfect getaway from the busy Bay Area. Certainly, the creek just beneath really is the unique part of the whole experience. Of course we loved the hot tub and all other amenities too!

Loved our stay there! Not very many places allowed us to have all of our pups with us so we're very grateful that they were welcoming and accommodating. Their home was very clean and also included beds for the pups. Loved that there was a spacious yard for our pups to roam around in for potty breaks. Tom was very responsive and it was very easy to communicate with him. Would definitely love to come back one day for another pup trip

We had a moms’ night away and Meadow Vista was a perfect stay for us. Some highlights include the fact that everything was clean and comfortable, the hot tub was a great way to relax, the detailed and helpful manual answered any questions, the beautiful garden and morning coffee on the porch were serene and inviting. We saw a group of baby quails outside the kitchen window that absolutely charmed us all! As moms we really appreciated her “no need to clean because you’re paying a cleaning fee” note which is not common with all Airbnbs. Overall, it was exactly what we wanted. One note of advice: write down the front door code before getting there. We were on LTE and it took awhile to pull up. Once inside on the WiFi, reception is great, but I got a little nervous before that!

Perfect place for a ski week! Sarah was very responsive and attentive, and the cabin was private and well-maintained. Could not have asked for a better location.

Amazing place for kids, adults and dogs alike! Absolutely amazing open plan, excellent deck and outdoor space where you felt like you were away from it all. Lovely walk to local winery. Super clean and new washer and dryer. We would absolutely love to stay here again and recommend it for anyone with families, pets and just a 12 minute drive from Grass Valley.

We will be back! Loved it so relaxing. We brought food to cook and enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen. Just remember to bring some oil. Great spot walkable to the state park and 1 min from the river. Nancy whom is the on site manager was wonderful.

Being in the cottage was like being in a park. The neighborhood is quiet, beautiful, and perfectly situated for us. We certainly hope that we will be able to book with Andrea again for a future visit.

Great place for a couple to get away. Tidy layout, nice area, everything you need close to hand. It was storming pretty heavily when we stayed and it was really fun to watch it out the windows and hear it on the roof!

Beautiful place , recently renovated and was very well stocked to help us feel right at home. We were two couples with 2 toddlers , 1 infant and a dog between us and the house was large and spacious and easily accommodated all of us. The house was spotless and clean and had plenty of bedding and linens for our crew. And as a nice surprise, Sharon had placed a few snacks as a welcome gift, which was very thoughtful and appreciated. Overall , we had a great stay and would highly recommend this place.

Tracy and J.P. are absolutely amazing hosts! Warm, welcoming, and thoughtful in every way. Their home is beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm, and their dogs, Kona and Piper, are simply adorable! If you’re a dog lover, you’ll feel right at home and completely loved - our dogs had the best time too! The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, with kind and helpful neighbors that make the stay even more special. This is one of those rare places that leaves a lasting impression. I wouldn’t just recommend it, I’m already looking forward to coming back!

We regularly book Airbnb’s for our weekend getaways and from our experiences we both feel this is an exceptional find. Trevor and Molly are attentive hosts in the best possible way. This cottage matches the photos. It’s immaculate, well appointed, quiet, and ideally located for a countryside stay, yet very easy/close drive to downtown Lincoln, surrounding areas, to the local wineries, and a casino where we attended a concert. The bedroom linens are exquisite. The kitchen had everything we might need. We both found our stay to be restful and wished we had booked another night. Beautiful cottage. Very accommodating and up-to-date. The chickens are absolutely darling. The best wineries just minutes away. Didn’t think it was possible to enjoy our second stay more so than the first. Can’t wait to return.

We absolutely loved this place💜 So quiet & pretty. The location was conveniently close to everything we needed and the view was amazing. I really enjoyed my morning walk through the trees. All the goodies the host provided were a big plus also 🤣 I can’t wait to come back and stay at Mary’s place again!

This is a great home base to stay and do winter activities with kids. There's a beachside park in walking distance, along with plenty of food options and a bus stop that takes you all around Tahoe including to Northstar. My toddler loved the backyard in the snow. All the appliances worked, the heater kept the whole house evenly heated, everything was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

A stay at Kippy’s place is like going home! It’s comfortable, unique in a beautiful way, and full of treasures! We will be coming to see the family as often as we can & definitely staying here!! We loved it Kippy!!

One of the Best Airbnbs We've Ever Stayed In! Shasta was an amazing host, so friendly, responsive, and clearly committed to making sure everything about our stay was perfect. The home itself was exceptional: sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and filled with high-quality furnishings, dishes, and toiletries. It truly didn’t feel like a rental, it felt like home! Check-in was seamless, and the location couldn’t be better. We walked into town several times and loved how close it was to hiking trails and the Yuba River. This is a best-in-class Airbnb in every way, and we absolutely hope to stay again in the future. Highly recommend!

This was a great place for us to stay and store some of our items for our wedding. It was centrally located with the venue being across the street. The house was very convenient and spacious, and allowed us to host our friends and family for gatherings. Andrea was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

We LOVED our stay at Elany’s place. It felt right at home. There was a beautiful view from the balcony - every morning I woke up to hear birds singing. The place is really spacious - it is bigger than it looks in the pictures. There’s a bath tub in the bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. Elany gave us a lot of recommendations where to go and what to do (we enjoyed hiking in the nearby area). The house is well located - just about 10 minutes to Grass Valley. We would definitely recommend it!
