Our stay at La Balise Marina L’Estuaire, Black River, Mauritius, was absolutely wonderful. Sandrine was an exceptional host, providing fantastic communication from booking through to our stay, ensuring everything was seamless. Paola took excellent care of our family, keeping the accommodation spotlessly clean and always being available to answer any questions. Both Sandrine and Paola were outstanding, making us feel welcome and well cared for. The apartment was spacious, modern, and equipped with every utensil needed for a self-catering holiday, ensuring a comfortable and satisfying stay. I highly recommend hiring a car, as we did, to explore the island. The apartment conveniently includes a car parking space, and the large Super U supermarket nearby offers a wide range of food and essentials. Our experience was incredibly enjoyable, and we are grateful to Sandrine and Paola for making it so memorable. Highly recommended!

We spent a great holiday in the ground floor Black reef apartment. The apartment is huge & well equipped. Kitchen includes all stuff you need to cook, from pots & pans to microwave & cooking machine. There is a huge fridge, coffee device and all tableware you need. The bedroom is nice and big, as well as bathroom that includes shower & bath tube. Everything is clean and very well preserved, exactly like in the photos. The terrace is opening to the sea and beach, that is very clean, too. There is a heated pool in the garden that is shared with tenants of the other two floors. The beach is nice but rocky, you can go into the water in front of the villa, but is better to use one of the very nice public beaches that are in walking distance. There is a supermarket where you can find almost everything & a very nice beach club (Le Plage) in 10 minutes walking distance and few restaurants closer. Communication was easy with both owner and local responsible person. Everything was perfect & top!

Very well located in relation to the small public beach and restaurants. Very convenient parking for the accommodation. The apartment is located in the 'Be Cosy' complex (not on Costal Road). Quiet environment.

Wonderful flat with garden in family villa. Spacious flat with large terrace and tropical garden in quiet dead lane. Within walking distance to the beach ,shops and restaurants. Amazing hosts - Juergen and Ursula - very proactive and helpful with local tips. You need anything, will be sorted out. You can rent a car from Ursula as well, very comfortable. Definitely we would like to come again. We loved the place. And bonus for the kids - two giant tortoises travelling in the garden

Beautiful apartment and probably one of the few places in Flic en Flac with a sea view and no traffic noise. Nice to hang out by the pool. About 10-15 minutes walk to the beach and town. Felt very safe to walk as well as to take the car and park by the beach. Great host and security staff at the parking space. Loved it.

My family and I stayed at Ruben's spacious, well lit, and super comfortable apartment for a week. Ruben responds very quickly and was always polite and helpful (something I found was a wonderfully common trait with most people in Mauritius). I will miss the views (coz there's more than one angle) from the apartment the most. The beach, small convenience stores, and eateries are all at walkable distances. I would definitely recommend this place!

Thank you for the lovely stay Sheel! We felt at home and appreciated the attention towards details found throughout your apartment. The kitchen was well equipped for our extended stay. The building was well maintained, had friendly staff and felt very safe with the security team. Having a pool was a wonderful bonus after an excursion day! We’ll miss our daily breakfast on the balcony enjoying the views! We recommend this great stay :)

I had a very pleasant stay in Dominique's apartment, where I particularly enjoyed the two beautiful gardens, the master bedroom offering great comfort, modernity in general, decor, location in the complex, just a few minutes from restaurants, grocery store, shop, tennis/paddleboarding and golf. Not to mention the proximity to the beach and the beautiful pool + fitness room. I felt quite safe and had a very good relationship with the very nice cleaner, who also prepared on-demand dishes. Dominique was attentive and proactive in the communication of information, very complete, and also offered other services if needed (activities and transport on the island).

what a gem of a place. easy parking, easy self access arrival. stunning beach right nearby. at the end of the flic en flac restaurant strip so perfect location really. perfectly serviceable supermarket with good opening hours in town too. ian answered all our questions and helped us out great!

The villa is absolutely beautiful. Artistic fixtures everywhere that gave the feel of walking through an art gallery. Swimming pool, gym & jacuzzi all included in your stay. You couldn’t really ask for more. Florian was an amazing host, clear & timely communication, suggestions on what we could do every day (even BEFORE check in) on different parts of the island. He was persistent is ensuring we had a great experience. We have stayed at SO many different airbnbs all over the world & honestly I would say Florian is the best host we have encountered. I’m not just saying this, we don’t owe him anything this is just a true reflection of our experience. We stayed in a hotel before we stayed here & wished that we had found this place & stayed here the whole time. It turned our trip from good to great & is a big reason why we would even return to 🇲🇺. If I could rate our stay 7 stars I would as 5 doesn’t even do it justice. Thank you Florian for everything & we hope to stay with you again!

Patricia was very available, to prepare for our arrival, to resolve any possible problem or visit advice, which is very reassuring. Her apartment is very spacious, clean, very well-equipped, with balconies. Quiet, it is located in a secure residence, with caretaker, closed parking, two swimming pools and very pleasant park. Especially the location is ideal because at 5/10 minutes walk you can enjoy the beautiful beach of Flic en Flac, which stretches for several kilometers and offers many activities including beach restaurants (5/6 euros for a dish). In the same radius all on foot, you also have many shops (supermarket, restaurants, bars, bakery, various shops,...). And finally, you will be very well located for visiting the whole island by car, with many sites, hikes, beaches,.. very accessible from the apartment. In short, the perfect choice to enjoy the whole of Mauritius!

We had an amazing stay in the penthouse apartment. It looked exactly like the photos. So much room and great quality furnishings. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels. Beautiful view. The host was really accommodating and let us check in early and check out late which made a huge difference to the first and last day of our holiday. The cleaner came every other day and did a great job. I would recommend car hire as walking is not really an option. The road is very dangerous. There is a great bar and restaurant directly across the road which was very nice, especially for evenings when no one wants to drive. Mont Choisy beach is only a few mins drive away with plenty of parking. A very beautiful beach. Large supermarket 5 minute drive. Overall we had a wonderful stay. I would just be mindful of small children around the pool from a safety perspective. The edge of the pool is a drop straight down. Ours are grown so not an issue. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful time staying at Sarespadee's home in Pointe aux Sables. The house is very spacious, spotless, and well maintained. Sarespadee is a generous and thoughtful host—she arranged a desk when we requested one, and also provided a crib and high chair for our baby. The beds are large and extremely comfortable, and she was always helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The neighborhood felt very safe and peaceful. I felt completely comfortable strolling around with my baby. It's about a 10-minute walk to London Way, the local grocery store, and about a 5-minute walk to the 51 bus stop, which has frequent buses into Port Louis (30-40 min ride). From there, you can easily transfer to buses going across the island. That said, it's preferable to have a vehicle, especially if you plan to explore more of the island or eat out regularly. The area isn’t very touristy and doesn’t have many nearby restaurants, but we enjoyed several in Albion, which is a short drive away.

A few steps from the sea. Nice clear water, great for swimming. Walking distance to great restaurants, shopping and bus station. Car not necessary. The house is very spacious, cozy and beautifully decorated. The terrace is also very spacious. We felt very comfortable. Great value for money. Thank you so much for letting us stay there.

The Villa is amazing. Very peaceful, safe and has a beautiful beach front view. Its extremely spacious with a huge living room and dining. Kitchen has all the amenities required. The best part is the outside sitting area where they also have an 8 seater dining table, where you can sit and enjoy the view of the calm beach. The view of the sunset is breathtaking from here. Swimming pool is very clean and regularly maintained. Master bedroom is quite big. The host of the villa Asvin, is extremely helpful and friendly. Him and the manager Sudesh made sure that we checked in properly and made sure that we were comfortable during our entire stay. Some good restaurants to try, nearby, are Village Cafe (Bf) Chessy Latte (Pizzas), Happy Rajah (Indian) and Chamarel Panoramic Viewpoint Restaurant (Amazing view). Grocery store, London bay, is also very nearby. Overall we loved the place and had an amazing time at the Villa !!

We had a lovely stay. The villa is beautiful. And very well equipped. It's a relaxing place. Contrary to reviews, access to the villa is easy to access using Waze. Célia, and Stéphanie welcomed us very well throughout the stay. Thanks again! We will be back without hesitation🌸

A lovely, spacious villa, which was the perfect base for us to explore the south of the island. Nicely furnished, well-equipped and we loved having the pool and hot tub.
