Holiday houses in Playa Amada

The apartment has a wonderful view and is very private. Had a few minor issues upon our arrival but it was communicated to Paulina, some might have been user error such as the master bedroom TV not working and one sliding door remaining locked and not able to unlock it. Before arrival, Paulina mentioned the limited electric usage and possible additional charge if we went over the meter reading. It was hot in June and at times it felt better to close the sliding doors and enjoy the view in a cool space, but we didn't want to go over the electric amount so we tried to limit that. Felt secure and safe. They have some very strict rules at the pool, some that honestly are unnecessary due to the small amounts of guests but I did feel the guards or security people by the pool were a little over the top. In one occasion, I had my kids with me, their water shoes, goggles and one of their tiny shorts next to the pool. The security told me that I couldn't have toys or clothing by the pool.

Such a gorgeous and well decorated/designed place! We loved the atmosphere and you can’t beat having a pool and the ocean right outside your bedroom! It’s centrally located and easy to get to Playa Norte or explore the south. Paco was very accommodating and we’d love to return sometime!

This place was perfect! Large private beachfront with excellent beach access and total privacy. The property was very clean throughout, beds were comfortable with great linens, and everything was easy to access. The hosts were wonderfully attentive while still being respectful of our private time, exactly the right balance. Location is super convenient with coffee, Domino's, pharmacy, and gas station all within walking distance. Only minor issue was Uber drivers had trouble finding the location, but that’s not the host’s fault, just make sure to stay in contact with your driver. Overall an excellent stay, would definitely book again!

This was a great place to stay! Everything was just as described and Liliana promptly helped us out whenever we needed it. The beach was sargassum-free when many other beaches were closed. The only minor annoyances are the multiple codes and checkpoints needed to get around the facility and neighborhood. Eating out can also be a challenge since there are only hotels nearby, but no restaurants. publrerestaurants.

Our stay at Open Key's condo in La Amada was wonderful! The space was clean, spacious, and well decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed for a long stay with young kids, and we especially appreciated the large patio and ocean views. The beds were comfortable, the couch was comfortable, and the TV was easy to use. La Amada is an amazing location. The building was super quiet, and it was so great having so many things to do so close (rooftop pool, kids club, market, and lounge all 2 minutes from our door). Obviously the beach, pools, and beach club were excellent as well. Sarah was also extremely helpful and great to communicate with. She helped us get a wagon to pull the kids in, advised on local amenities, and was responsive when we had a maintenance issue. We loved our stay at La Amada and can't wait to come back!

this place is just amazing! I will come back. We just came back from a week at this place. we were 7 of us (including kids) and we all love it! the place is peaceful, great views and the access to beach and beach club are both easy and steps away from the apartment. facilities are amazing, clean, safe and convenient! The apartment is nicely decorated and made us feel at home. there are plenty of things to do, beach is beautiful, and Paty is the best...she cooks like a professional cook. this place is probably one of the best I ever stayed since using rbnb. I highly recommended! not only Paty but Sonia and all people that work in the complex is friendly and really takes care of all your needs. I am already looking for my next time at this place.

Apartment is beautiful and is close to the main pool/ restaurant and a 5 min walk to gym/Starbucks/corner store. Everyone was courteous and helpful. There is a paddle boat you can take out as well as kayaks. There are waiters who will take your order at the pool. Restaurant was more than adequate with reasonable prices. It is closed on Tuesdays. The closest Walmart is about 20 minutes south - as is Costco and Sam’s Club. There’s a nice open air mall area called Puerto Cancun right around that 20 min mark with shops and restaurants (Zara, H&M, Buffalo Wild Wings). The hotel district is 30-35 mins away and is where most excursions are. We did ATVs and Cenotes Zapote-Ecopark where you cliffjump and zip line into natural pools and then swim in underwater caves - highly recommend! That was an hour and 15 min drive from La Amada. The beach is more of an inlet with a strong current and no waves. There is a nice basketball/tennis court. Amada is peaceful contrast to chaotic hotel zone.
