Family-friendly holiday rentals in Havana

Staff went above and beyond to help us with all our questions, arrange reservations, transportation and find entertainment like music venues and dance, and get us oriented to being in Cuba. This made all the difference to our trip.

Yanet saved me. I was trying a different airbnb each week in Havana and I booked a fake house. He opened his house for me at 9 pm and was totally great. They are amazing hosts!

This home is located in a quiet humble neighborhood of a beautiful city, that has survived so much. Patric has done an exceptional job in bringing out and restoring the natural beauty of the home and adding modern amenities to make his guests feel at home. The pool area is beautiful, inviting and perfect for any gathering. The house staff is helpful and willing to help in anyway possible. Something not in Patric’ s control or his staff is the weather and countries power grid issues. We did experience 2-3 power outages a day each lasting 2-4 hours. The main generator is being fixed but staff did bring a smaller one to help with lighting and to try and keep 1-2 AC’s running for a more comfortable temperature. This is a reminder to those visiting that this is not the owners fault it’s the reality of the countries day to day struggle. The on site staff did their best to accommodate us. Word of advice travel with a portable chargeable fan and hand held flashlight. Highly recommend

Esta es la segunda vez que me hospedo en la casa de Helen y lo volvería a hacer sin dudas. La casa es muy linda, con una hermosa vista al mar y los dueños son muy hospitalarios.

Simply spectacular! Wow! The pictures don’t do this place justice. As soon as you walk in you are overtaken by the size- it’s huge! At some moments it feels like you’re in a labyrinth and in disbelief that, “wait, there’s more?” This house is a historic structure that has carefully and pristinely maintained. The level of cleanliness and comfort have exceeded 98% of the Airbnbs (and yes, in the US) that we have stayed in (and we have stayed in really nice places). I failed to ask where the mattresses are from, but they feel as if they were intended for royalty. The decor, furniture, flooring, ceiling… everything is perfect. This could easily serve and be described as a mini museum that you get to sleep in. Cary and Felix are exceptional hosts. From the beginning, communication was constant, answered all questions we had almost instantly. As soon as we arrived, they were incredibly welcoming, making us feel like family. Cary y su equipo (Elena, Carlos, Norberto y el chiqui) siempre fueron muy atentos. Siempre estaban al pendiente de nuestra comodidad, a pesar de cualquier circunstancia, realmente me sentí como en casa. Si pactas con Cary con anticipación te puede ofrecer desayuno por un costo extra, que junto con Elena hacen desayunos muy vastos y ricos. Cary es una persona muy dulce, si platicas con ella tiene mucho por contar, simplemente yo la quiero mucho y junto con Elena ya las extraño como a mi familia. Recomiendo mucho el lugar, tranquilo y a la orilla del mar, los atardeceres son increíbles, lugar cercano al Palacio de Convenciones, se puede llegar caminando y aunque no esta cercano a Centro Habana, se puede solucionar con servicio de taxi (recomiendo mucho a Don Guillermo, Cary puede contactar con él). Sin duda regresaré 🇨🇺🥹

I was very very impressed with the staff very friendly, respectful and kind. That’s what stood out the most to me. I’ve stayed in many places I think it was a little pricey also get prepared to spend extra money with their services meaning you have to pay for breakfast you have to pay for dinner, coffee water liquor… it would be cheaper to eat out every day, then dining in the home… the house was very clean well kept…

Amazing space! KC took care of us from start to finish from ordering us taxes, find good rates for us and just being available for any mishap we experienced. She was super accommodating and responsive to any question or request we had. Our breakfast was wonderful everyday we had it ordered. Book the space if you’re unsure of how to navigate Havana, she will handle it!

Este alojamiento es altamente recomendable. Yanet la Host, tiene una calidad Humana que pocas personas tienen hoy en día. La casa está impecable, cómoda y súper céntrica. La atención de la anfitriona fue excepcional.

My only regret was not staying longer.. The kitchen appeared completely functional, so I could have prepared meals for a long term stay. There was a living room with four comfortable chairs and a bench. The bed was comfortable and there was lots of storage for my clothes in the closet. The bathroom was awesome, especially the shower/tub. There is a nice shaded yard. The location is conveniently walkable to the Plaza of the revolution. I wanted to stay in a new area as I intended to walk a lot and explore. My host assisted me with an Uber to get me to my next destination. Thank you for your kindness.

Excelente estancia, 100% recomendada, el alojamiento tiene todo lo que dice ofrecer. es muy limpio, ordenado y los hosts, el señor José y la señora Sonia son muy amables, cariñosos y te hacen sentir seguro, querido y en casa.

Bendiciones en todas las dimensiones para todo el que pueda verse leyendo. La estadía en Casa Verde en Habana es precisamente el balance perfecto de sentirse en privado y en Familia a la vez. Le recomiendo que considere quedarse entre seres muy lindos y especiales que verán que cada detalle esté a su mejor decisión de aprovechar. Apartamento es amplio, fresco, buena cocina completa, agua caliente, aire en el cuarto, baño preparado, y todo muy limpio y acogedor. Está a pasos de estaciones de guagua, y queda muy bien ubicado cerca de mercados y lugares para comer y comprar. Definitivamente volvería a hospedarme si así en tal momento fuese posible. We arrived at a perfectly cleaned and organized apartment and the Host welcomed us as agreed. We were astonished of the size of the apartment even though in the pictures at AirBnB you can already get the feeling of a spacy apartment. The location of the apartment in the building is perfect, there is quietness 24 hours a day. In the entire building is nearly nobody, because the Host administers 2 apartments in the building and in the 3rd apartment of the building lives an elderly woman you never see. The apartment is designed in detail, bathrooms are brand-new, so are the Queen-sized beds and the matrasses. Even in the kitchen you get the feeling that all appliances are brand-new, perfectly equipped for guests who would like to cook. The location of the apartment is exactly like the listing said: In the Heart of Miramar. Everything but everything is within walking distance of the apartment. To conclude, the name Luxury Apartment is well said!

I really felt the most positive energy coming from the owner and her staff. The food was delicious and I was always satisfied & satiated. I’ve been to Cuba 8 times and stayed in many places! This one was by far the best and I like that there was security there and he would always open and close the gate upon our departure and arrival. Wifi always struggles everywhere in Cuba but I actually need to disconnect myself from My phone every now and then so I’m ok with that. However, it should be attainable moving forward but it’s not so imperative to me as it is for others! I would definitely stay again but I do feel that they should not charge extra if I have 7people as opposed to 6. I had an issue booking from the beginning and it could not be fixed so I had to have one of my friends book at another place by themselves. Luckily things worked out and 1 of my friends actually could not make it so all 6 of us stayed there comfortably! Check out my Social media @miguelromeo183 see videos

We had an excellent stay. The house is amazing with numerous, big bedrooms. And the upstairs open-air veranda was a great place to spend our time, especially during the afternoon thunderstorms. The two housekeepers and security guards were extremely helpful, arranging taxis and other activities. They took good care of us! All in all, it was an amazing trip.

My second stay at Benjamin's house. Excellent as always. The house is beautiful and in a very exclusive neighborhood. The staff is lovely, helpful, and accommodating.

Maravillosa estancia en una casa preciosa de arquitectura americana estilo años 50, renovada y bien mantenida, con todas las comodidades necesarias para hacer nuestra estancia agradable. El jardín es una belleza, y la terraza que da al mismo es perfecta para relajarse por la mañana tomando un café. Pequeña piscina privada con una iluminación nocturna muy bonita. Internet disponible desde 2 puntos WiFi que abarcan la casa completa. Desayunos totalmente recomendados, no sólo por la cantidad y la calidad, que es excepcional, sino también porque son preparados por Ana Ibis y Teresa con todo el cariño del mundo, cosa que como familia agradecimos mucho. Los dueños de la casa siempre disponibles para resolver cualquier mínimo problema que pudiera surgir durante la estancia. En general, incluso con las altas expectativas que ya teníamos por los comentarios, la experiencia ha sido inmejorable, y si volvemos a La Habana sin duda nos quedaremos aquí de nuevo. ¡Muchas gracias por todo!

Pasamos solo dos días.. nos sentimos muy cómodos!! ideal para tres ,cuatro personas. la zona Miramar es la mas tranquila de La Habana. el departamento es tal cual se ve en las fotos. la pileta es lo mejor te puede pasar con los calores de Cuba. Tania y Pelayo son muy amables.. atentos a nuestras necesidades. Recomiendo 100 % este departamento. Saludos cordiales.
