Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Playa de la Carihuela

It was literally living in a place close to heaven. It’s not only furnished with so much love, but also the attention to detail made it much more special. We were in awe upon our arrival, and found it hard to leave. We would like to recommend it to everyone, but it is so special, that we just might keep this as our best kept secret! From the moment we booked, our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. They offered excellent recommendations, answered our questions with warmth and patience, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Everything is within walking distance. The way the villa is situated allows you to wake up to the gentle embrace of sunlight streaming through the windows, and ending the day with golden sunsets was pure magic. It is absolutely breathtaking. The thoughtfulness throughout made it easy to settle in and feel completely at ease, as if we were staying with dear friends. A stay so extraordinary, you’ll cherish every moment and never want to leave.

My wife and I spent around 2 weeks at this beautiful place. The views are amazing and the property is located in a quiet neighborhood. Anita is amazing, a super host, very helpful and knows the area well. She answered all our questions and recommended restaurants and other businesses. Although Mijas Pueblo is a walking distance away, we found driving our rental car saved us time and energy. Everything seems to be just a few minutes away, even the coastline and the airport. We like peace and quiet, so coming back to this quiet setting at the end of the day after spending time in busy Málaga, Marbella or Fuengirola was a delight. Pool and terrace were a joy, clean and well maintained. The surroundings are in a beautiful mountain, so you will find yourself driving or walking uphill or downhill most of the time. There are a few steps from the entrance to the rental unit. I’m in my 60s and good health, had no issues. We can’t wait to be back!

We have had the best time at this villa! It was relaxing and suitable to enjoy time together as a family who don’t get to spend time together. The host, Enrique, ensure all our needs where met, answered all my questions and was generally very happy to be helpful! I look forward to returning!

I enjoyed the quiet and cleanliness of the accommodation, which is quite close to the city center. I recommend this accommodation if you want to visit Malaga for a few days!

The four of us had a pleasant stay at this nice house. There was everything we needed. The communication team was friendly and effective. Taking a swim in the pool whether in the morning with flowers and plants in view or at night under the moonlight was a bliss.

We enjoyed our stay in Torremolinos incredibly. The place was stunning. The apartment is beautifully furnished and contains all the essentials for a week's stay. The highlight was the beautiful balcony with sea view. We had the pool for private use, as there was never really much going on. The area is great, it only takes a few minutes to walk to the beach and the promenade. The local supermarket was also quick to reach. You can also get to the center very quickly, which offers a clear advantage at night. Another stay in the accommodation is already planned and we can hardly wait to come back.

Villa was excellent, lovely outdoor space. Maarten very helpful, allowed early entry and late leaving when possible.

Myriam’s apartment was just perfect for our needs. The location is perfect, close to the beach and restaurants and also just a mile walk from Benalmadena. Myriam was extremely helpful and responsive and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back!

Perfect accommodation! Clean, cozy, you feel at home. The pool is nice The location is perfect: 4 minutes from the beach on foot, restaurants, bars and shops as well. However, the accommodation is quiet 😀 We enjoyed the small welcome kit (coffee, tea, milk, etc.) that allows you not to run right away to do the shopping 🙏 One small regret: the very quick reception... we were 8 minutes late on a 1500 km journey.

Quiet apartment in the middle of beautifully landscaped gardens. The decor is bright and airy. We were extremely kindly welcomed by Sierra (contact person for the host). Sierra is super contact and nice. She communicates quickly and clearly with questions and problems. The poor wifi connection was partly remedied by her tenacity. Beautiful location within a short walking distance of the beach and catering area. Train station within walking distance. We had a lovely stay.

Just home from a brilliant stay in Torremolinos and we couldn’t fault this Airbnb. The apartment was spotless, modern, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The location was ideal – just a short walk to the beach, shops, and loads of great places to eat. One of the highlights was the rooftop terrace – perfect for catching some sun or chilling out in the evening after a day of exploring. Javier was friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond, which made the whole experience really easy and stress-free. We felt totally at home and would definitely book again!

had a wonderful 10 days in Estrella's apartment. 5 mins walk to the beach and restaurants. it was quiet and private and the other residents were very friendly. overall a lovely holiday experience. would highly recommend staying here.
