Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Playacar

This was our first family vacation and we couldn’t have done it at a better place. The house literally had everything and more that you expect at a vacation home. With multiple pools and jacuzzis, I didn’t think it could be topped, until we walked into our very own private cenote! It was truly hard to leave this morning, the kids wanted more time at the house. It’s big and spacious and very private. The host are really helpful and sweet, with a cleaning lady that was kind and respectful of space and time. If you need any restaurant or activity recommendations, just ask Fabrizio, he was a great help. I plan on returning to playa de Carmen and when I do I hope this house is available. Can’t thank the hosts enough for trusting us with their home/ paradise (as the kids called it). Until next time.

Quiet place and very secure

I just returned from my vacation and with a very good taste in my mouth, Bely a beautiful person always attentive and helped me a lot in matters of transfer helped me to contact someone I trust which I appreciate very much. The place is very clean and with places nearby to buy groceries, highly recommended and thank you Bely for being so attentive 😉

We had an absolutely AMAZING stay! This was the perfect spot for a family vacation — we had 6 adults and one baby, and the house fit us all so comfortably. It was quiet, peaceful, and just steps from the beach. Honestly, it couldn’t have been better. Bruno, the property manager, went above and beyond for us — helping arrange airport transportation, grocery delivery, and making sure we had everything we needed. He made the whole trip so smooth and easy. The house itself is gorgeous. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, the bedrooms were spacious and thoughtfully laid out to give everyone privacy, and the common spaces were perfect for hanging out together. We were able to walk to most places, but getting in and out of the development can be a bit of a hike, so taxis definitely came in handy. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences ever. 100/10 — we will definitely be back! Couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

The house is large and each room with en suite bathroom. Well maintained property with everything working and in great condition. Very private pool/outdoor area that feels like you are in your own oasis. But then just 3 minutes walk on a private path and you are in a gorgeous beach with plenty of space to chill an enjoys the ocean. the house is great but Alma, the property manager, made the trip. She kept the house spotless, made us breakfast every day ( and real Mexican style breakfast and cut fruit for us). We just had to go to the grocery store to bring supplies and she prepared everything fresh every morning. Everything was setup for us to enjoy every day. She makes it feel like you are staying at a 5 star resort having everything tended to. Playa Car it’s own own separate area with great security… everyone inside has to have a bracelet to get in it be a guest. Cuts on the number of people and crowds… but the house ilia just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. SAFE

Great base in Playa. The apartments were lovely for us as two couples. Judith was very helpful with information. Would recommends to anyone - easy to walk into the main strip of playa and also close to the Ado bus terminal.

Great place! Locally close to 5th Avenue which was great. Clean and accurately described. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable condo interior, furnishings, lobby, etc. Safe and secure gated parking with friendly guards. Ocean views from the private balcony. Kitchen had all nice appliances, cookware, dishes, etc, plus various coffee makers, incl a French Press. Bathroom and shower were modern and clean. Bed was big and comfortable, with a bunch of pillows and extra blankets if needed. Both TV's worked great, incl. streaming apps. The host, Jeffrey, and his local property manager, Cristian were both super friendly, helpful, and were active with communication. All questions were answered promptly and made our stay anxiety-free! One block walk to the beach. Within a few blocks of EVERYthing needed, ped mall with gift shops, upscale and mid-level restaurants of all types, pharmacies, currency exchange, and many convenience stores/bodegas. Big grocery store and Walmart were within 2miles. We would absolutely book Jeffrey's condo next time we come to Playa del Carmen!!

Great place, extremely clean and beautiful furnished. Luis Fernando was very responsive and helpful. Left take out options and his mother I law was super sweet with us and took us to buy some stuff to a close buy convenience store. Overall we had a great stay. Definitely recommend and will keep in mind for future bookings

Great and beautiful space. We were gone around and about most of the time but the bed and pillows are so comfortable! That was a big plus for us to sleep. Hot water and good pressure! The air needs to be adjusted, it doesn’t push enough fresh air. Coffee pods and the very organized loft with everything you need is really awesome. 😎

This apartment is beautiful. The front two rooms have amazing views of the ocean and are very comfortable. We are a family of 5 and the space accommodates us beautifully. The two teenagers squealed when they saw their room with two queen beds and what felt like an additional room just for the walk in closet and bathroom space. Juliana was the most perfect host, quick to communicate and very very helpful. Access to the beach was close and easy, the pool area is HUGE and the restaurants on site made food options easy. The local shops and restaurants are a quick taxi ride, which Juliana assisted us with. There’s also a Spa onsite which was a surprise. The services are very reasonably Priced and while we went to the spa itself I do believe there is an option for them to come to the unit. One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The location is great. Very short walk to the beach and 5th Ave. Quiet and peaceful with a view of the trees. Many colorful birds to watch from the balcony. This is a penthouse unit with a rooftop area which was very large. We had a few unexpected and unavoidable maintenance issues but one text to Matt and the maintenance guys were there literally in minutes. The only negative I can think of is the stairs ( no elevator)which were poorly illuminated at night but that is a general building maintenance issue. The price was fair and the welcome snacks and drinks were very appreciated. Sylvia the maid was very nice and did a great job cleaning. I will definitely try to stay here again on our next trip to Playa.

Had a fantastic stay at Andres’ flat. Modern, clean, and comfortable. Location is perfect for exploring by foot and easy walk to the beach. Highly recommend! Great value and glad I opted for this airbnb instead of a hotel.

Excellent place to stay, the location is incredible, very close to the beach and 5th Avenue where you have access to different restaurants and shopping. Despite being close to 5th Avenue, the noise from the nightlife was never a problem, so I highly recommend it for a few days of relaxation. The only thing is that if you bring a car, the place does not guarantee a place to park and you have to park on the street, paying a parking meter at certain times.

Our stay was incredible, from the moment we arrived the communication with the host Michael was excellent, he was always available for our questions. The apartment is amazing, clean, comfortable and large. It is located within a complex 1 block from 5th Avenue, close to everything and is a super quiet area to rest, it has security, a large swimming pool, an impeccable gym and its own parking, its facilities, equipment and other is perfect. It has everything you need to spend a few incredible days. Thank you for everything, we will come back soon!!!

This place exceeded all of my expectations. I came here for my bachelor party, with a group of 16 of my best friends. The host/owner, communicated with me months before, facilitated transportation, recommendations, and food. The place is incredibly clean, perfect safe location, beautiful neighborhood, comfortable beds. I wish I could give it more stars, I can’t express enough how perfect this weekend was because of this stay. We will come back. If you’re between places, pick this, you won’t regret staying at Villa Venus!

Carmine's place is probably the best Airbnb I've had so far. You can't go wrong. The place is ultra clean, well located, there's a nice outside pool, check in is easy and communication was a breeze. I will definitely come back without hesitation next time in Playa Del Carmen. Thank you Carine!

Wonderful experience, everything is very clean and tidy. They have details of a good host: soap and shampoo, fresh water for drinking, fully stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed the view to the pool, the Internet excellent, has screens in the rooms and the very nice decor, we want to go back! Nayeli is very attentive, friendly and attentive at all times, she provides excellent attention. Totally recommended!
