Good location, near Avenue des Présidents, Place de la Révolution. If you are a good walker you can easily get to Old Havana by crossing through the center. Modern clean hotel, a little noisy at times. Adriana at the reception is great!! I'd definitely go back.

Hostel Balear exceeded our expectations. Staying there provided the best of both worlds. We were able to experience a unique neighborhood, Vedado, and we also had only a short taxi ride to Old Havana. Eilyn was an excellent host. We really enjoyed the property including the amazing front porch to relax on and listen to the sounds of the neighborhood. The staff was extremely nice and hospitable. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanted to experience Havana. Dick

We were supposed to stay at this property for one night, and then move into a larger apartment (also owned by Ada) the next day when the rest of our group arrived. Unfortunately, our flight was cancelled and we didn't arrive until the next day--so we didn't stay at this property. So I can't attest to the actual room itself--but working with Ada and her team was fantastic. Professional and responsive every step of the way. Considering the spectacular experience we had in her other property, I'm sure this one would have been great as well.

This airbnb was even better than it looked online. It was so quaint and beautiful from the decor to the warmth felt throughout the home. The host Beatriz was so welcoming and helpful. We did almost all of her recommendations for checking out Havana. We communicated with her quite often and she was very responsive which we so appreciate. A good way to get your bearings and check out the city is by taking the tour bus that picks you up at Hotel Presidente right across the street from the Airbnb. Also, in case you don't know before visiting keep in mind that it's best to have cuban pesos as soon as possible but USD or other forms of currency will also work. Government owned properties will have a lower exchange rate with foreign currency. Our trip to Cuba overall was unique, full of culture, and educational and our Airbnb was such an amazing place to come back home to after long days of exploration.

Very comfortable hotel. We were well received and received several local tips, such as transportation, currency exchange, attractions. Sandy was very helpful and made us feel at home. The room is very comfortable and clean. The location is very good, two blocks from Plaza Vieja. Great restaurants nearby. We would definitely come back

I had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are just as lovely- spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout my visit. Breakfast was really tasty every morning. The location is also perfect-close to everything and very convenient. I'd definitely stay here again!

Very nice house and the room comes with all the comforts you can have in la Havana. The position of the hostal is very convinient to walk around la Habana vieja. A special plus is the staff, always available for find the best solution for you and make you feel welcome! It was amazing. Very comfortable and beautiful. The people who took care of the place are very attentive. Laura especially very nice, with great knowledge of Cuba. An excellent place to spend some time to rest and be connected to the tourist places. The food in the place restaurant is DELICIOUS Here is someone to help you at any time of day. 100% recommended

Roberto was great, really helpful and super hospitable! I felt like home and had no problems during my stay - everything was super easy (thank you, Roberto!). Definitely worth booking at this place - there are some really good restaurants nearby but the place is tucked away from the noise of central part of Habana Vieja.

Jose's place is very well decorated and stylish while providing all the amenities and services you need to feel comfortable. I really appreciated the communal areas, and in particular the kitchen (with its books and boardgames) and the rooftop, that made it a very friendly space to meet and chat with fellow travelers. Jose's team was also super friendly and responsive, providing me with recommendations and some practical tips, and let me stay a little longer while I was waiting for my bus to leave Havana a little later in the day. I fully recommend Jose's place !

Large, comfortable, well decorated, clean and organized accommodation. Helpful hosts. Well located, close to the main sights and restaurants. The terrace has a beautiful view.

These people have created something remarkable. An oasis inside a Cuban slum! It’s kind of like a speakeasy. You enter through an apartment door, and a little complex of 4 rooms, plants, outdoor eating area and bridges opens up in front of you. Very nicely done rooms, and great aesthetics.

I loved staying at Salvador's house. It's like being in an art gallery! Everything is decorated with great affection and style. The room is super cozy, with a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom with hot water, and everything was always very well arranged. They change towels frequently and are good quality. Salvador and his wife are very friendly and made me feel right at home. He always had great tips that helped me a lot on the trip. I was traveling alone and felt very safe the whole time. I would definitely recommend this place

Excellent breakfast, support in everything.....the best stay in Cuba in more than 10 experiences. The power went out several times but they have a generator to solve the problem. If there is one thing, the internet is not very good.

The hostel las Maletas was great! The room was very nice and clean and the morning meal, which you get in addition for 7 euros, was also great. The hotel staff have all been super nice and helpful. No matter what problem we had, they were immediately ready to help us with anything. The hostel is also very well located, in the old town of Habana about 300 m from La Bodeguita Del Medio.

Great place at a good price. Close to the center and at the same time you can feel the atmosphere of a real, non-touristy Havana. The room has everything you need for a fun time in Havana. Godpodarze is very helpful and connected.

The stay was wonderful, very polite and welcoming staff, perfect location, close to Plaza Vieja. The villa is clean and comfortable room, impeccable bathroom, wonderful breakfast. The only problem we had with the wifi instability but I believe it is a problem of the whole region. The team was always available to help us with everything! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.
