Really quiet location but within a half hour drive of some lovely Shropshire towns and ideal for walkers. We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, including basic breakfast items and logs for the log burner. Miller's Loft is one of 2 apartments on the 2nd floor of this beautiful Grade 2 Listed Corn Mill. It has been sympathetically renovated with high ceilings and oak beams and a quirky fun modern touch. The apartment overlooks the field and very comfortable and cosy, with open plan living space and fun mezzanine with double bed, which feels like you are sleeping in a tree house! The apartment also has a small bunk bed room and shower room. Its perfect for couples, solo adventurers and families.

The Garden Room is a private, cosy apartment that's perfect for couples in search of a quiet break or visitors looking to explore the area. It has basic cooking facilities, a king bed, wood burning stove and a walk-in shower with plenty of hot water. We have reliable wifi, no tv and an ok mobile signal. Lovely up here this time of year and plenty of wildlife to be seen - the other morning while drinking my coffee I watched a pair of hares, leaping and sparring in the front yard - just great.

Private entrance & free private parking. You will be surrounded by numerous walking routes and National Cycle Routes, The Shropshire Hills, AONB. The Welsh border is only a few miles away which acts as a gateway to Mid & North Wales. Rowton Castle wedding venue is 2.6 miles away, which is 6 mins by car.

This is a great location for lovers of both town and country. Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. We have good internet access.
