The futon was not comfortable but the rest of it was great.

we stayed with Vicky for 2 nights. We were absolutely satisfied Vicky was super sweet and always helped us. The place is clean and you have everything you need. Around the corner is a supermarket and the location is super central. We would definitely come back.

Carmen’s place is great. They helped schedule the night tour and boat tour as well as the pick and drop off from La Pavona. Place is right in front of the amazing beach. I saw hawker monkeys and lot animals within small walk outside the place. She gave a great tour to room and services offered. Little bit slow to respond but she will respond for sure. Highly recommend the place.

The apartment is as it appears in the photos; it is small but very comfortable. I always felt very safe. I'm always looking for places to work and I would definitely come back. The host was always attentive, kind and answered quickly.

We had a very nice stay with Carmen, really nothing negative for us. The start is the communication beforehand. Carmen responds quickly and adequately. She gives clear tips from the harbor where you go on the boat. That's nice, because it was busy with people who wanted to sell everything to us. Then she is ready ashore on Tortuguero, where you will end up by boat. She shows you her stay, which is incredibly clean and fully equipped such as shampoo and Wi-Fi etc. There is also clean drinking water and the beach is a 1-minute walk away and the village is a 5-minute walk away; the perfect location! She also helped us with successful tours (including a canoe and a night tour). Tour guide Angelo was very serious during the tour and found our safety very important. But he also had a lot of humor and knowledge!

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Chilamates! The room was spotless and comfortable. A/C worked great! The porch was so nice to have. Right up against the national park boundary, so we saw tons of wildlife. We would definitely stay here again! Rodrigo and staff were all so friendly and helpful, and made our stay great! Thank you, pura vida !

Great place for a night or some days

Was great. My second time staying with Henry as a host. Last time was the larger house. This time since only two of us I chose this riverfront place. Room was great. Hot water. Great AC. Big tv. Riverfront patio to watch the boats. Beach just a few steps away. Breakfast was huge and very very good beachfront. It’s a short walk from town and the boats pick you up and drop you directly at the house. Can be a bit of noise with the boats on the river. A lot of barking dogs etc. but I slept fine. The town is tiny so no matter where you stay you will hear these things.

Great place facing the beach and close to everything. the anfrithion is always very attentive and kind.

It’s a nice place. It has a sort of cowboy air. It was interesting to stay in Hugo’s cabin.

A very nice accommodation, 100% recommended

jimmy's attention was very good, I was very attentive to what we had a good experience, and was communicating with tour guides in case of anything. As soon as we arrived at the Pavona, there was someone waiting for us from the hostel giving us instructions to arrive without a problem in Tortugueros. The room was clean and tidy, and there was air conditioning that helped keep the room cool. Thanks Jimmy for the concern and the experience.

Great accommodating hosts, a little paradise. The apartment was the best equipped. It's a pity we were only there for such a short time. I can only recommend it to everyone

From the entrance to the property with a majestic tree, everything is wonderful; the accommodation is excellent for rest and for getting out of the routine. Accessible in any type of vehicle. Grethel and her husband are people with whom you can have a very pleasant talk, very accessible and above all friendly. We would definitely go back to this stay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
