Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Podgora

This place is beautiful. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning. We saw the stars and heard owls at night. Has everything you need to make breakfast and do some basic cooking if you can be bothered, but there's lots of places to eat in the likes of Bol, with quite a few still open in the shoulder season. It is next to another kind of boutique hotel/airbnb thing but you're still afforded relative privacy from the terrace. Marijan gave us solid instructions on how to get there, but we still drove past the turn off so better to get there in daylight if you can. You will need a car. All in all such an amazing stay, the island of Brač has so much to offer, and this is a particularly idyllic spot. Thank you!

SHE House was as advertised. We quickly called her home feeling acclimated & comfortable. Our GPS sent us some terrible way initially but the locals were very friendly offering us assistance. Our host was patient & accommodating showing us how many ways to reach the house ("all roads lead to SHE House"). We really enjoyed how centrally located the home was to all things on Brac Island. We realized our visit was a bit early for the weather & the season when our original ferry from Makarska was cancelled due to bad weather but no worries we just had to go to Split. The wind was so strong it actually blew open the latched front door one afternoon. The soft throws in the basket were nice & cozy-really appreciated. Some of our favorite meals were at Pumparela Restaurant & Taverna Riva in Bol; Konoba Kopacina & Restaurant Ziza in Donji Humac; Gastro Diva in Makarska. Driving in Croatia is NOT for the faint of heart but if you happen to be on the D8 stop for coffee at Strada.

A truly idyllic place to unwind. We had a lovely week of swimming, kayaking and relaxing away from people (the property can only be accessed by boat so it is very peaceful and quiet). The host was very communicative - we can definitely recommend and would love to return to this unique property again!!

We had a very nice stay at the villa! The villa is located in a quiet area where everything is easily accessible. Marko is a super nice host, very accommodating, warm and always available for a recommendation/tip 👍🏻 The villa is well maintained and clean.

Thanks to Igor and marija, We had spent wonderful 6 days here. Place is literally located in the beach . Having a huge terrace made everything much more relaxed . Totally recommended!

What a fantastic location. Peace and quiet and the beautiful sea. Lovely hospitable hosts. Super friendly and genuine. The BBQd fish they bought us for lunch was the best we had ever had. If you want to get away from it all then this is the place to come. We stayed a week and didn’t use the car once.

This house is a jewel with a soul – quiet, flooded with light, filled with silent beauty. Every single room is a dream: high-quality, harmonious, designed with flair and loving care. It not only receives, it gives a deep feeling of security and arrival. The furnishings are high-quality, stylish and chosen with a noticeable attention to detail. Whirlpool and pool? Luxurious retreats with real class that don't just promise relaxation, but make it possible. Everything seems well thought-out, very well maintained and carried by soothing tranquility. And Ana and Josip? Hosts from another world – warm, mindful, sensitive and dignified. Your peka, the freshly caught fish, the fine potato salad, your homemade wine - all gifts that touched us very deeply. Our little dogs were also welcomed with open hearts. This place has given us far more than time: memory, depth, gratitude. Something lasting. Thank you – from the bottom of my heart!

Staying at Katarina's Airbnb was an unforgettable experience! She is an amazing, sweet, and welcoming host who truly goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The house itself is absolutely stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature. The views are breathtaking, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The area is incredibly private and quiet making it the perfect retreat for anyone seeking peace and relaxation. A few things to note, be prepared to drive, as you'll need a car to navigate the narrow streets uphill leading to the property. At first, the drive can seem daunting, but soon it becomes part of the adventure. The house is powered by solar panels, so there is no air conditioning, which we knew ahead of time. Although it occasionally got quite hot, we really appreciated the eco-friendly approach and adapted to it. Overall, it was a magical stay, and we are already looking forward to our next visit ❤️🌊🫒✨

A truly beautiful place in Podstrana, the highest house in the location it’s set in, we have felt incredibly lucky to spend ten days at Vinko’s lovely home. The view and terrace space is so beautiful, we didn’t feel like we needed to go and fill our days with activities because it was such an incredible place just where we were! We managed with taxis when we went for meals, never spending more than £10 to visit Split. Vinko was so helpful with recommendations from prior to our arrival all the way through to the end. The inside of the property has everything you need, the space is limited inside but this suited us as we were outside most of the time anyway. Would 100% recommend to anyone seeking a little luxury and relaxation.

We were there as a group of girls and we can really only recommend it ☺️ Ana welcomed us very kindly, was flexible with our arrival time, showed us everything in peace and explained and even prepared a small welcome surprise 🥹 if we had a concern, she answered within a few minutes The house is perfect if you are looking for a place to relax, with great mountain views, a heated pool and sauna, ☺️ with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for large groups. You have your peace and can really have a great vacation 🏖️

Beautiful villa and a beautiful boat transfer that they provided

Wow what a find. Mirko is the best host, always attentive, there to answer any questions and help if you need it. The villa is equipped with everything you need, kids loved the computer, pool table and darts they also had a great time in the pool they were never bored. Mirko was on hand if we needed anything he was kind to lend us the electric cars for a couple of days but also gave us a number for a taxi (Damir) to use on other days we ventured out. He helped us out one night on ordering a takeaway while the restaurants in Gata were closed (it was Sunday) nothing is too much trouble. He took us to the supermarket and showed us round and gave us ideas on what to explore. We had cake and delicious pancakes made for us and he made sure we had lots of goodies in the villa when we first arrived. He is the best and we will definitely be going back.

Ana was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful as well as giving great recommendations. The property was outstanding especially the landscaped areas with access to the sea, pool, balcony and sauna. We had a really relaxing stay and would love to come back again!

Our vacation at the apartment was absolutely wonderful! The place matched the description and photos perfectly. It was beautifully furnished with great attention to detail, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful — Vanja made our stay in Makarska as comfortable and memorable as possible. She even treated the kids to sweets and fresh fruits, which was such a lovely gesture. Moreover, she proposed to stay in her apartment for one more night for free. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would! Only positive experience. P.S Vanja, thank you so much for all your efforts and hospitality. Next time in Makarska I will stay there, without any doubts .

Fantastic apartment, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. bed was super comfy and great shower. Marina was helpful with restaurant suggestions. Restaurants, bakery and supermarkets all close by. Old town centre was 15 minutes walk and beach 10-15 minutes downhill. If mobility is an issue or young children it is a 15-20 minutes uphill from the beach. Would recommend.

Tin, Maja, and their lovely family were spectacular hosts. A truly magical experience for our honeymoon. Hvar is one of the most beautiful places we have ever been and the locals were very friendly and helpful. We will be back. We even got to be friends with their family dogs, Gigi 🐶 and Rocky. I highly recommend going to Real Hvar and renting an ATV and doing the tour that they lay out wonderfully for you. Don’t skip the wine and olive oil tastings. 10/10 experience. We were very satisfied. Nice and clean accommodation, very welcoming owners Ante and Jasminka. To grill, Ante will prepare and clean everything. Come to the apartment, back a little from the kopecka, but no problem. We wanted peace of mind and a little more distant access to the sea. A small piece of cake right in the crusade, it's all there. We were very satisfied. If you want to go to the water by car, it wants to do it by 9am, otherwise you won't park much. The main part of parking places from the road to the water is charged 6euro/day, after noon there is no charge. Overall, Krvavica (jitrnice) is calm, quiet, forgotten village.

Wow! Where do we start. Easily the best holiday we've ever been on. Ivan and his family were so incredibly welcoming and friendly. Upon arrival we were greeted by Ivan and given so many wonderful recommendations. We are already looking to see when we can return to Brela and this wonderful apartment. We loved having our breakfast on the balcony, with the most gorgeous views. We felt right at home and settled into a lovely holiday routine here. We never wanted to leave!!! 5*+ Emily & Liam xxx

Jovana was a great host - super friendly, helpful and communicative. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something quiet and secluded. Everything one needs is in walking distance of the apartment and the island is generally beautiful. Hoping to come back soon.

We stayed at Milena´s apartment for about a week over new years. The mountains behind the village had snow, yet it was sunny and warm most of the time so we could do extensive hikes and visit nearby towns. The apartment itself is incredibly beautiful and Milena just a fantastic host that warned us about road-blocks on our way from Austria to Croatia. Furthermore she gave us really some incredibly nice advice on what to do in the area. All in all we can highly recommend her place :)

Wow, what can I say…giving 5 stars and saying Amanda & Chris are the best air BnB hosts I’ve ever had still doesn’t justify it! The location of the hidden house literally could not be better. You are within a 45 SECOND walk to some fantastic restaurants, the water and at the heart of this little town. If you want to make the most of your time - Amanda will hook you up with Niksa, who picked us up from Split airport, dropped us off by speedboat, and took us out for our final day where we explored deserted bays, beaches and other hidden gems around the Paklinski islands. We went to Hvar town for the day and although we liked it, it made us realise just how special SG is - I’m so glad we did it this way round! If you come to Stari Grad, you HAVE to stay here, thank you guys! :)
