Lovely peaceful haven, tucked away at the end of the road around a pretty dam. Cottages are well spaced, well equipped and the grounds lovely to stroll through with our dogs. We loved doing a BBQ breakfast on the terrace and dinner in the restaurant was very good also. We would return to stay here again. Wifi reception is not great, but the peace and quiet is the trade off.

Spent 2 winter nights at The Lantern and it was amazing. Far enough that you feel like you have escaped but close enough that it doesn’t feel like a chore to get to. Communication with Michael was prompt and efficient and the cabin perfectly outfitted with everything you could need. The bed and bedding top notch and the electric blankets especially helpful as we had 2 cold nights. Highlight is the wood fire hot tub and the bathroom/shower area. The overall design of the entire place is really comfortable and inviting. Would highly recommend coming with food to cook - once we arrived we did not want to leave. And in fact, we can’t wait to return in the future.

We loved our stay at Jingella cottage and hope to be back one day. The house was very comfortable and being able to walk to the lovely on-site restaurant was a bonus.

Antonina was a lovely host, who responded straight away to any questions we had. The home was just as described very beautiful with lovely surroundings. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful private surroundings. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be coming back in Easter.

Thank you Eloise and Troy for having us and our two dogs over the Christmas break. Lovely property with everything we needed, a spacious yard for the pups, and Eloise was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to get out of the city and be amongst nature for a few days :)

Lovely, serene sanctuary. We enjoyed the beautiful views with breakfast on the deck and relaxing in the hot-tub. Cathy and Doug were very friendly hosts, and despite some bad weather conditions, they made sure that amnenities were still accessible. Would love to visit again!

Dominic was very responsive and helpful. The breakfast bits he provided us was such a lovely touch as well!!! If you are looking for a peaceful and secluded getaway this is a fantastic place to check out.

It’s a great place for relaxing with friends, where is not far from city ,very quiet and peaceful. We very enjoyed the wood fire in the yard and also walked down along greens Rd ,drove around mountains roads and met cute animals.

Excellent cabin in a lovely tranquil location. Great hosts with everything that you need in the cabin plus more, to have a relaxing time outside of the city. Great for fishing and beach walks, close to amentities if you need to stock up on food too.

Idyllic location. Lots of leisure equipment to make the weekend fun. Just what we were looking for. Helen was extremely helpful and responsive. Will definitely be going back for another visit!

The Wilds was amazing! Such a beautiful spot away from it all. Peace and tranquility just as we wanted. Exceeded our expectations. Jane was super lovely and friendly. Easy to talk to and made our stay such a pleasant experience. We look forward to going back again!

Gorgeous place to stay, helpful info from Nicky, wish we could have stayed longer. The setting is so peaceful and loved it even in the cold of winter. Enjoyed paddling there on our kayak from Mooney Mooney, such a stunning part of the world so close to Sydney and wonderful to arrive and enjoy the hot shower and a cup of tea!

Very cosy place. Lovely garden. Peaceful. Close to the beach and shops. Dianne was very helpful and responsive.

What a lovely place to stay! It exceeded expectations, simple and clean decor. lots of sun coming through windows. It had everything we needed for a night, it was great having a full kitchen. Bed was great and linen really warm on a very cold night. The best thing was the location- 3 min walk to the box/ettalong foreshore. Would stay again.

Good communication, very accessible location. Great for the wine visits and a lovely rustic feel to it. Air conditioning kept the cold winds at bay and we had a lovely weekend away.

I had a wonderful stay at Gert and Gabby’s place! It’s peaceful, relaxing, and exactly as shown in the photos, clean, tidy, and very comfortable. It’s also a great base for exploring the Northern Beaches. Gert was super easy to reach and communicated clearly throughout the stay. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet and restful, this is definitely the place for you.

What an incredible place to stay. My partner and I visited for a long weekend from Newcastle—just a two-hour drive. The cabin was clean, cosy, and private, set away from the main house with views of paddocks, greenhouses, and sheep. Inside was rustic and charming with a comfy couch, main table, and a great air con/heater. Rebecca kindly brought firewood, which we used for a lovely fire—though if you want nightly fires, consider bringing your own. The kitchen was well-equipped with new cutlery and plenty of space. There’s no oven, but a large toaster oven and induction hot plate worked great. Note: no large cooking pot, so bring one if needed. Shops are 15 mins away, and the Longneck Lagoon bushwalk nearby was lovely. Though one block away from a small road, noise wasn’t an issue for us. Check-out was easy and stress-free. Shopping centre nearby w/ Woolies and Aldi. Lovely cafes too, we went to Homeground which was delicious. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it!
