Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Polis Chrysochous

The house was just like the photos but there was more… a private path lined by fruiting citrus trees taking you down to the sea. The views are fabulous and the gardener works hard to keep it all absolutely perfect. And for those having to do a little work, fibre optic internet included.

We had a lovely time staying at Armenak & Mida’s place. They had a very in depth welcome pack for us when we arrived which was very helpful. We encountered a couple of obstacles when first arriving but Armenak & Mida when very prompt with their response and offered a solution almost immediately. I would recommend this stay to anyone travelling with family or friends!

Absolutely gorgeous villa. The views are breathtaking. You'll definitely need a car to get about but if you want this amazing view with your morning coffee it's worth it. Tala square has great restaurants and there's a little supermarket and deli there too. Property was spotless with everything we could need inc English TV channels. Beds were a little firm for us (Personal choice) but using spare duvets under the sheets sorted that. All in all a fabulous two weeks, could not fault it. A little slice of Cypriot Heaven.

What a great host. Bodil was very responsive to all our requests and was proactive in helping us make the best of our time in Pissouri. She really is a Super host. The house is comfortable and well equipped, especially the kitchen. The balcony has great views over the sea, and an electric awning which is easy to put up and down. It is around a 10 minute walk to the village square which has a good little supermarket (there is a bigger one a few minutes drive away) and good tavernas with nice food. We had the use of her ancient SUV - it runs really well and has four wheel drive, useful for some of the steep gravelly roads in the village. A pleasure all round.

As a group of 2 families this villa had bags of space and in particular we liked the outside seating of which there was plenty. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the villa was lovely and clean. There were decent shops within a short drive although we did walk one day but the area is very hilly which would be harder in the summer heat. The pool was good although still a bit chilly at this time of the year. The villa is conveniently located to explore Paphos, Coral Bay and more and a car is recommended.

One of the best air bnb's we've stayed in. Absolutely gorgeous setting, we loved it so much we extended our stay. Elizabeth was a very gracious host and the agents that managed the house were also very responsive and helpful. The house was immaculately clean including the linen and kitchen utensils. We had everything we needed for a great stay. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We stayed here last year and this year it was just as lovely! The place is easy to check in, very clean and felt right at home when we got there. Kiosk right next door with everything we needed, and near everything we wanted to do. Thank you Adrean for a great stay again

We felt very comfortable in the Airbnb. Everything was super clean, the kitchen had everything you need. This is always very important to us, as we like to cater for ourselves. Beds were super comfortable. We didn't get much from the neighbors, we were almost always alone in the pool. The hosts were super nice and helpful. We asked for a high chair for our baby and got one on the same day. Yes, there is a construction site opposite, but it did not bother us. Conclusion: absolutely recommended. We'd love to come back. :)

Christian's villa is an amazing accommodation! the view over the coral bay is just incredible! The swimming pool and the bbq will make your stay incredible! The house is very well equipped and clean. We got clear communication with Christian who was very helpful and easy to communicate with. He kindly offered a late checkout so we can have a last breakfast with the amazing view over the coral bay

Our stay at this beautiful house was just perfect! We felt at home as soon as we entered. Every room is generously designed, so you feel right at home. We were particularly enthusiastic about the beautiful large pool and the fantastic outdoor area – here we could enjoy the sunset overlooking the sea from the balcony. Everything was clean and to our satisfaction. A washing machine such as dishwasher is also provided. An absolute insider tip for anyone looking for relaxation and comfort in perfect combination. We will definitely be back! Thanks to Laura who provided us with her hidden gems on the island.

We spent a lovely week at Alinas place in Paphos. The apartment was in a lovely quiet complex yet right in the centre of Kato Paphos, a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. It was by far the best Airbnb we have stayed in. They seem to have thought of everything to make our stay a success. Any question we had re restaurants, places to go etc was answered promptly. Check in and out was easy and cleverly done. We cannot recommend Alinas place highly enough. They could teach hosts how to run an Airbnb business.

Wonderful stay. Excellent pool and really great sized bedrooms! Make sure to pack shampoo/body wash etc as there’s no toiletries provided! We knew that going in so packed accordingly which is why it’s still 5 stars. Thomas was super helpful, would definitely stay here again next time in Cyprus! Good location - out of Paphos but some nice things nearby. As an FYI there are cameras all over the pool area - not a problem for us but worth mentioning!

The apartment is as described. Very spacious. Fully equipped kitchen, it was possible to cook meals. Air conditioning in the living room and bedroom (much needed). Small but comfortable bathroom, had some hygiene products available. Kristis was very attentive.

The owners' hospitality has exceeded our expectations!!! Patrick and his partner have been very responsive and helpful to our inquiries. A very warm family has provided an even warmer space that felt like Home. Strongly recommended! We really appreciate your time and effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible!!

We had the pleasure of spending some wonderful days at the Kochini villa in Nea Dimmata – an absolutely comfortable house with amazing sea view, large balconies and spacious open spaces. The villa is well equipped: an excellently furnished kitchen, two separate bedrooms with air conditioning and a modern, stylish bathroom. The entire decor is welcoming, functional and designed with a lot of love for detail. We felt like at home from the first moment. We particularly enjoyed the tranquility and proximity to the sea and beach – a perfect place to relax. The communication with Evridiki was warm, professional and straightforward at all times. I felt really at home here. The outstanding view is etched into my soul. The veranda is large, comfortable and has everything you would need. Maria is the most responsive and personable host. Her thoughtful touches are everywhere. She even supplied fruit from her garden, and provided basics to get me started. The apartment is really well equipped, and there was nothing else that I needed. Maria even provided an umbrella, and folding seats for the beach. As other people have mentioned there is a road below the apartment, which might not be everyone’s choice, but that puts the apartment in easy access to all places of interest; Lachi, Baths of Aphrodite, Polis etc. The beaches are minutes away by car, as is the Marina and Polis town. You can walk to most things, (although there is a steep hill down from one side of the apartment, you can avoid this by going another route), there are buses that run frequently from below apartment. As you can tell this was a very enjoyable stay!

Wonderful place to stay in Polis, even though I never used the pool (was there during Christmas so not expected to anyway), still a great trip. Close enough to town to walk but would suggest a car as there is so much to see in the area, Akamas, the coast towns and the mountain villages are all awesome. The host also decorated the villa for Christmas and left wonderful welcome goodies ... really nice touch! I will return to the area again one day I certainly would come back to this listing as 1st choice.

Our stay was great. The house was lovely, clean and beautifully presented. Plenty of lovely fluffy towels and beach towels. Beds were really comfortable. Christos always responded quickly and provided lots of useful info and links to bars and restaurants. We were not flying home until late evening, Christos was happy for us to stay till 7pm at no extra charge. All in all, a great holiday and would definitely return and recommend. Many thanks Christos!
