I asked and next to the university in the lush landscape of Puijonlaakso, a new studio apartment on a French balcony. Dedicated parking spot in the yard. Accessible access to the apartment. Downtown Kuopio is 2.5 km away. There is a bus stop right in front of the apartment, where there are two lines in 10minutes to the center of Kuopio. From the apartment, you can easily access the Puijonlaakso hiking trails, along which you continue to Puijo. Also next door to the beautiful Frog Pond and cozy park area with beaches.

The place is great! Raija's cottage is compact: small, but well equipped. Our group of 8 people fit comfortably to spend the weekend. The cottage and the barns were wonderfully cool even though the outside temperature was already quite high. The vaulted sauna offered incredibly wonderful and gentle steam baths for the whole group at once. Raija gave comprehensive instructions on how to use the cottage. I'd love to come back to the place sometime! 👌🏻

We had a wonderful 15 days in this lovingly furnished and waterfront accommodation. Swimming in the lake every morning, absolute tranquility and a fishing boat that was available to us free of charge the entire time and was already waiting for us in the water. Manu and his wife surprised us with a delicious homemade smoked fish and irresistible fish soup. Thank you very much for these extraordinary days. We will be back! We were able to launch our own rowboat well and moor it at the jetty during our stay. The house is bright and cozy, lots of windows and you can see from east to west on the water. Wonderful sunsets! Wood was always available, the sauna is sooo cozy and individually designed. There are many cranberries and the kitchen offers everything necessary for processing. You shower in the sauna, there is a really good outdoor toilet and a separate toilet for the night in the house.
