Holiday rentals with lake access in Polk County

The rental was amazing. Very clean, roomy and a beautiful view of the lake. Mitch was very responsive and friendly. The pictures don’t do it justice, you need to see it in person to take it all in. This has been our favorite vacation so far. If you love to fish you can catch all you want from the back yard. We will definitely be back next year. We didn’t want to leave. Another plus is that you are only two hours away from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and Nashville for a nice day trip.

What a lovely lake cabin escape! Gilbert was communicative and very accommodating. We really enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit, and relaxing on the dock. The place has all the essentials and cute rustic charm. I’d definitely stay here again!

A very clean place beds were nice. Everything was great. I can say nothing bad about the place. Only good things. I would definitely stay there again.

We loved This house! It was the perfect spot on the lake, and the covered boat dock was great! It even had a swing to sit and relax in while the kids enjoyed kayaking and trying to paddle board which gave us lots of laughs 😊 The host supplied the home with so many complimentary items if you forget anything no worries she has it available for you, such a nice change from most of the homes we rent while on vacation! The driveway is perfect especially if pulling a boat or even if you want to take daily walks as I did. The beds are always a big deal for us as we want clean and comfortable and this house had both, they was so comfortable and clean and fresh!! You can truly tell that the host cares about her renters and making their stay amazing!! I could go on and on about this home but unfortunately there is not enough room for me to type all that i need to ..lol...Thank you again Debbie for allowing us to stay in your home, as we truly loved your place and had a wonderful time!

Perfect location to meet up with friends at the lake campgrounds

This house has everything you need for a getaway. We stayed on the decks more than in the house. The furniture outside has been upgraded since the photos on the listing. Kitchen was spotless and had everything I need to cook for my family. I will be back. There are 125 steps to get to the water. I knew it would be a trek, so it didn’t bother me. But, just a heads up if you aren’t able to climb that many steps. All of the houses are like that.

We had a great stay at Kurt’s couples cottage. The place is as described, perfect for a couple, with serene atmosphere, lovely location just off the Taccoa river. We were not into fishing, so may not have enjoyed the stay to its fullest potential but we still loved the place regardless. We were given a tour of place upon arrival as the host happened to be around. There is a fireplace, a fire-pit, lots of firewood with starter, etc., in addition to seating, hammock, and so on. Lots of good stuff. Truly enjoyed the stay.

If I could give this stay 20 stars I would! What a phenomenal experience. Michael & Hilda’s home is absolutely stunning. Their family and friends we met while being there were so welcoming and friendly. The love they all have for making sure their guest are happy, goes unnoticed. They made us feel like their place was ours. I can’t wait to come back or to another one of their beautiful properties! Thank you just isn’t enough.

It was absolutely one of the two most peaceful places I have ever been to. I wasn't ready to leave, and I will go back just as soon as possible. The place was clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed and Gary & Sheryl were awesome!!! If you want a quiet get away, I highly recommend "On the River"!!!

Laurie and Daniel They are the best of best and their kind and helpful and make everything wonderful for us. We already have booked another two trip in the future with them next year. We will continue to come there and stay at their place in search of that trophy bass.

such a cute area the Square is very close by ate at Wine Down brunch spot. Met my nephew and his family there for a visit in front of the fountains. It rained during alot of my stay but I did have one perfect day on the lake just beautiful. Thank you guys!

This was a great place to stay! Secluded on the lake it makes for a quiet peaceful stay. The house was great, would stay here again!

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. We absolutely loved this historical home in downtown Dayton! Walking distance to everything! We were in town for my son’s collegiate fishing tournament on Chickamauga and the location was perfect. We actually walked to weigh in! Amazing front porch with a swing that we took advantage of! Highly recommended! Will definitely stay here again!

Great location and very peaceful. Short walk to the lake. Well equipped cabin and is very clean and comfortable. Great comma from the host. No issues during the stay.

We had an amazing stay at Trisha’ s place! The house was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We felt right at home and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and clean place to stay! We were able to fish Lake Chickamauga everyday rain or shine 🤍

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful lakeside mountain cottage near Murphy! The property was perfect for our dogs to explore, and we loved paddling around the lake. The Wi-Fi worked great for getting a little work done, and everything was cozy and welcoming. Phyllis was a fantastic host—kind, responsive, and thoughtful. We’d definitely come back!

Patsy’s place was the perfect weekend getaway for our family. Seeing it with our own eyes was even better than the pictures on the listing. Beautiful lake front. Multiple outside dining and grilling spaces and a dock. There were only 4 of us but 3-4 more peeps could’ve joined us comfortably. Patsy was great with communicating and answering our questions. We would come back.

This was our 2nd stay at Sweetwater Cottage & the view & lake access were just as fantastic as we remembered from 4 yrs ago! We had plans to do some daytrips to nearby areas but ended up boating, towed tubing, fishing, kayaking, & paddle boarding… never left the cottage all week. We appreciated having access to the kayaks & paddle boards along with some additional water toys available for guests stored in the garage. The kids were thrilled that they actually caught some fish right off the dock! We ate out only once during the whole week for breakfast at The Sawmill Place (delicious food, great service, recommended by our host). We ate all other meals at the cottage (including lots of grilling). A nice selection of spices & a well equipped kitchen were very convenient. We bought food to cook at Ingles but otherwise the cottage had everything we needed for a great family trip (including 3 bathrooms). Loved the trees on each side of the property for excellent privacy.
