The area is incredible, peaceful and the view spectacular. Asciano has the delightful charm of an Italian village. The people were friendly and welcoming. Even got greeted by their local police who offered up their number in case we needed anything. I felt safe, and it felt as if I lived there for years. I’d say this is a piece of heaven on earth. Bellezza maestosa! Non vedo l'ora di visitare di nuovo la Toscana e la città di Asciano! Grazie!

Enjoyable stay. Close to many beautiful towns.

How can we even put into words what an incredible experience this was! Antonella was kind and helpful, and her home is just stunning. She made us feel so at home even with our limited Italian. She prepared us a home cooked, four-course meal one night and it was absolutely delicious. She even gave us the leftovers so we could have them for breakfast the next day. The villa was breathtaking and in a perfect location to visit beautiful towns in Tuscany like Pienza, Montepulciano and San Gimignano. We especially loved the pool and visiting with the animals. This was a bucket list stay for us and worth every penny!

This home is the epitome of a classic villa in the chianti region. Lecchi is very a small village that is walkable to a market, bar & cafe, and one of the best dinner spots we visited in our entire trip to Italy - the Malborghetto restaurant is a must! We rented a car for this week of our trip, and would highly recommend doing so. There are many nearby villages with great trattorias and shopping options - and gorgeous views everywhere you turn. Casa di Lyndall is a roomy, well appointed home with all the amenities you could need. Very clean, and very comfortable, and the view out the front windows is beyond compare. Lyndall was very responsive and provided us with excellent recommendations of things to do during our stay. Clementina greeted us when we arrived and was so sweet and helpful. There is nothing we would change about our stay!

Valeria and Simone have a super nice and clean apartment! We felt very comfortable right from the beginning. The apartment offers a great starting point for numerous hikes and excursions. During our stay, we always received good tips and advice from the two. Our dog also felt very comfortable and since the property is completely fenced, he could move freely. We would come back. It was an incredibly beautiful time!

Beautiful, peaceful stay. Amazing, secluded location. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming - made us feel right at home. Lots of great walks around, including the nearby winery. The only downside is it does get rather cold in the stone apartment but during warmer weather the coolness in the apartment would probably be perfect. They provided a portable heater & a hot water bottle though which was nice. Thank you Tebea for being such a lovely host!

We stayed at Maria’s home for a long family weekend with 6 adults. There is quality ac, 3 bathrooms and 3 good double beds. The private pool is very good with comfortable lounge chairs. Cooking easy in the fully equipped kitchen. Recommended!

What a beautiful place to end our holiday in Tuscany. Some of the most beautiful views and wonderfully quiet, just wished we’d managed to stay longer! Thank you Lucia for being such a great host.

We loved our stay in this beautiful vacation home, perfectly located in the peaceful Tuscan countryside. Sandra is a very attentive host, she was always available for any questions and proactively communicated making the check in process very easy. The house is well appointed. I would like to point out though that only one of the bedrooms has total privacy as the other two bedrooms can only be closed off by a curtain. This contributed to its charm as a lot of the old features of the house were preserved, and wasn't a problem for us. We definitely would come back. Thank you Sandra.

What a magical, unforgettable place to stay! The home is the perfect size for two, and we felt right at home. It’s very clean with plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, and cooking appliances. We really enjoyed waking up to the sound of birds singing and having breakfast on the patio before making excursions to Siena, Florence, Poppi, or nearby Rufina. The neighbor’s cats also greeted us home when we returned (very lovingly!). Would absolutely love to stay again!

The Captain's House is a place that makes you reconcile with the world. Beauty is experienced by eyes, spirit, and mind. The views are breathtaking, the view from every window is a picture, and peace and quiet are guaranteed. The hosts made a masterpiece renovating the house: they respected the original structure by adding every possible comfort. Andrea and Michael are very kind, they anticipated all our possible needs, they made us find fresh flowers and scented herbs in each room, fresh fruit and everything you need to "start" the kitchen (oil, salt, spices, etc.). For a technical inconvenience, we couldn't use the Jacuzzi for a day and they offered us a dinner to apologize. We've never found hosts at this level. We hope to be able to resume those pieces of heart we left at the Captain's House.

Such a wonderful gem of a place to stay. Views were top notch and all within walking to our favorite dinner restaurants and town center. Just an amazing experience and location. Rossana was a great host- very communicative. She decorated her place with really nice special touches. We will return!

Azzurra's place was one of the best, if not the very best, AirBnB we have ever stayed at. The flat is great and the grounds are absolutely stunning. Best of all, though, it is located within a short drive of some of the most stunning spots in Italy, with plenty of variety for those that want it (beach, vineyards, old towns, etc.) On top of all this, Azzurra was super responsive and attended to our every need. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. A small highlight are Oliver and Duccio, their two dogs, who often joined us for breakfast and lunch in the garden.

Nedda's place is a dream, impossible to describe in words and even more beautiful than in the pictures. We had absolute privacy and enjoyed our time to the max. Surrounded by nature, we discovered something new every day. In the evenings we listened to the birds and heard one or two rare species. Lizards were our daily visitors, and we were daily visitors to the turtles ;) The house is clean and comfortably furnished. When we arrived there were vases of flowers from the garden everywhere. Nedda herself is a wonderful, calm and interesting person. She showed us the garden, was communicative, courteous, but left us absolutely our privacy. We recommend the place without reservation and will definitely be back. A special tip is the old town of Calle del Valle d'Elsa. Absolutely no tourists (at least in May), wonderful alleyways, fantastic views and beautiful churches. There is a lovely square at the end of the main street where you can relax and enjoy a cocktail from the bar.

A Tuscan dream. Some days I had to pinch myself to realize that I wasn't in a movie. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time in the region and also in the house. It was clean and tidy. The kitchen was unique and we also enjoyed grilling outside. We simply enjoyed it and felt at home. Finally, relaxation and tranquility, which you rarely experience. Thank you for your trust in this wonderful piece of Tuscany. A must-see for all those seeking peace and quiet or people who really want to experience what Tuscan flair means. We were a group of 12 from Mumbai, India, looking to experience a typical Italian town, and Giada's house was the perfect choice! We took plenty of photos of the entire house. It's beautifully kept, well-maintained, and has all the necessary amenities a traveler would need. The neighborhood is small and tranquil. The villa, ideal for big groups who want to spend quality time together. Giada was an exceptional host - super experienced, friendly, and prompt in communicating everything we needed to know. She was also always available for easy communication. We would 5/5 recommend it!

This stay is beyond expectation! Just 15-20 mins to Siena, food accessible within 2-3 mins drive. Host is helpful and place is easy to find. This accomodation was beautiful and clean, with privacy. Felt safe too.

first I love his neighbors who checked us in. Cinzia was amazing. She not only showed us our place but took our kids to show us her farm. she also makes her own olive oil and gifted us with some! Wonderful Italian neighbors!! I contacted Rocky in advance and he provided me with specific recommendations for where we should go during a long drive we took. we went where he suggested and was not disappointed! Amazing quiet location with great near by wineries. would 100% recommend to everyone!

We loved our stay here! The house and the views were truly as picturesque as it seems in the photos. A dream spot! The town itself is full of local flair and is beautiful too. Not touristy at all. Close enough to nearby towns though to explore more of Tuscany! Overall a great stay and Laura was a kind and responsive host.

We had a great time at Elisabetta's, all the services were impeccable, starting from the check-in where Elisabetta was flexible about the time and extremely helpful. The house is perfectly equipped with everything you need and impeccable in terms of cleanliness. The setting is also dreamlike. I absolutely recommend a stay, you will not regret it!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful accommodation in Tuscany. The views are stunning, and the property includes a small, fenced garden, which was perfect for our dog. There's also a large pool available to all guests, which was a huge plus. Having a car is a must. The location is ideal for visiting local spots like Siena, San Gimignano, and Val d’Orcia. The host provides a fantastic guidebook with recommendations, and we were never disappointed by any of the places he suggested. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and we enjoyed relaxing dinners in the garden under the lights. Overall, it's a cozy and comfortable place, perfect for a Tuscan vacation

Lucia's accommodation is a dream for all those seeking peace in the midst of nature. You are surrounded by the forest, a magnificent starry sky and countless fireflies (at least in early June we were lucky). You can hear a stream rushing and countless birds chirping, now and then a wild boar grunts in the distance and various cats keep popping by. The accommodation is very tastefully decorated and Lucia is incredibly warm. The approach is significantly less dramatic than it seems at first glance. Absolutely recommended!
