Family-friendly holiday rentals in Pomport

Stephane and Sylvie were amazing hosts. They gave us great local recommendations, organised a personal winery tour for us and booked in a massage. The location is beautiful, peaceful setting and the pool was fantastic. We booked to have breakfast one morning - it was stunning. Beautiful presentation and lovely food. We highly recommend staying here - truley relaxing.

Nous avons passé un week-end fantastique ! Ce loft est un véritable havre de paix. Il est spacieux, moderne et décoré avec goût. Nous avons adoré profiter du jacuzzi, un vrai moment de relaxation. Olivier et ça femme ont été très réactif et super gentil. Franchement rien à dire je recommande.

Nous avons été accueilli par Didier un soir. C’était chaleureux et attentionné car il nous a acheté un « kit de survi » pour le petit déjeuner et nous a recommandé les endroits d’exception à visiter…cette région est un vrai coup de cœur. Le gîte est top, on s’y sent chez nous très vite avec la pièce à vivre spacieuse et sa superbe cheminée, la literie confortable, ainsi que le jacuzzi qui a servi tous les jours. L’extérieur est incroyable, c’est au milieu de la verdure au calme, où les grillons accompagnent nos journées et nos soirées. Le gîte est équipé pour les enfants…jouets, livres, vélos, balançoires et toboggans. À deux pas du château de Bonaguil, il est facile de profiter d’un des plus beaux châteaux de la région ainsi que du restaurant en bas. Didier, un grand merci pour cette semaine, c’était parfait !

Semaine heureuse et chaude. Logement très lumineux avec baies vitrées partout. Rien ne manque pour bien vivre ses vacances, tout est propre. Il manque un micro-onde et une bouilloire; foyer écologique oblige. Les photos ont été bien prises car les arbres ont poussé depuis sur la vue panoramique. Jacuzzi très bien venu. Améliorations sur la sécurité proposées notamment pour les enfants: rambardes manquantes partout au sous-sol notamment derrière ping-pong, porte coulissante de la chambre à lit 1 place dangereuse, ... Superbe région aux nombreuses activités et sites remarquables.

Excellent séjour ! Le lieu est magnifique et paisible ! Il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans le logement ! Vanessa est très accueillante et arrangeante ! Merci pour ce séjour, on reviendra !

Notre séjour dans le petit village médiéval de Saint-Émilion était super. Nous avons pu facilement nous sentir chez nous et avons apprécié qu'il y ait quelques produits à notre disposition pour notre arrivée (épices, café, thé, savon, shampooing, gel douche etc.). Nous avons aussi apprécié d'avoir accès à des ventilateurs car il faisait très chaud la nuit (vague de chaleur). Sommes toutes, nous nous sommes bien reposés et avons profité grâce aux instructions détaillées de Marine et avons bien aimé de faire sa rencontre également lors de notre départ. Je recommande!

Wir waren absolut begeistert, wie unser Gastgeber Paul einen alten Stall in ruhiger Lage auf einem riesigen Grundstück renoviert hat. Alte Bausubstanz und moderne Haustechnik (Wärmepumpen, Fußbodenheizung, Wallbox etc.) wurden perfekt miteinander kombiniert. An jeder Stelle im Haus war immer genügend Platz. Die großzügig geschnittenen Zimmer mit antiken Möbeln mit jeweils eigenem Bad haben unseren Vorstellungen entsprochen. Dank Fußbodenheizung waren die Zimmer immer perfekt klimatisiert und Warmwasser für die Dusche war jederzeit vorhanden. Die große Küche und ihre Einrichtung ließen keinerlei Wünsche offen. Positiv zu erwähnen sind der Hauswirtschaftsraum mit zweitem Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine und Trockner. Pool und Jacuzzi haben wir oft genossen. Der Pool war auch im Oktober immer sehr gut temperiert. Paul war jederzeit ansprechbar. Probleme gab es nicht. Ein verstopfter Filter im Jacuzzi wurde in kürzester Zeit instandgesetzt. Es hat uns so gut gefallen. wir wollen wiederkommen

Des hôtes vraiment au top, si on devait donner une note.. 20/10😁 tout est parfait, propriété irréprochable. Équipements parfait tout y est. Tranquillité, vrai Havre de paix,parfait pour se ressourcer. Noëlle et Michel sont disponibles accueillants adorables.. Merci pour tout hâte de vous revoir.

Très belle maison au calme avec deux grandes chambres. Il manquait quelques produits de base dans la cuisine (huile, sel, sucre ...). A noter que ce logement se situe dans un environnement agricole (maraicher), possibilité de présence de tracteurs.

We had a wonderful stay. It is a humble apartment, but the grounds, courtyard and experience of living in an old castle created a once in a lifetime experience. The host was very kind and responsive.

Une seule nuit passée chez Martine et Jean-Michel, mais je reviendrai avec plaisir si possible. L’aménagement de la maison est charmant et authentique.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I spent a week at Catherine's stunning home in June. The grounds are literally breath taking and the apartment had everything you needed. We loved the pool area and Catherine supplied a bbq so we had dinner on our own private lawn overlooking the beautiful grounds one evening, truly magical! Emyet is only 5 mins drive and has an abundance of beautiful restaurants. Catherine was so helpful giving us great suggestions of places to visit. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it for a special stay in the Dordogne. Wonderful!! Thank you Catherine.

if you're looking for rural, rustic with amazing views and enjoy the odd visit from a deer then this is the place for you. Emma was exceptionally accommodating and even invited us in her home for an Easter meal. Emma has great recommendations for.local and non local places. there are a lot of English who meet locally who Emma introduced us to and along with Emma we had lots of great times. the Gite is comfty and cosy and a brilliant typical French home surrounded by vines and woodlands and a short 2 mile walk to the local village. this is one of those places you'll revisit time and time again

Nous avons passés 4 jours très agréable le gite est bien placé, on peut se garer devant il est en pleine campagne et l'environnement est très reposant. Une terrasse ou nous prenions le déjeuner, une cuisine moderne avec tout l'équipement nécessaire et une salle de bain au top. Excellente literie et d'une extrême propreté ! On a été super bien accueillit et si l'occasion se présente nous y reviendrons ! Nous recommandons ce gite pour les personnes aimant la nature et la tranquilité

We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

Easy to find quiet location, in area with some of the most beautiful villages in France with Markets on every day in the surrounding area as well as superb Michelin restaurants using incredible local produce . Comfortable open plan property, modern facilities in traditional cottage, easy to operate and cosy wood pellet heater. Property less suited if very tall ( I’m 6’4”) due to beautiful but low beams. Parking is right next to property. Host very responsive on any request.

We had a wonderful stay at Château de Monciaux. We were 12 adults, 5 infants and 3 children and there was plenty of space for all of us. They were even able to accommodate our request for 5 high chairs and 5 cots, which came in very handy. Agnès was incredibly helpful during our stay and responded quickly to our enquiries, even dropping by in person one day to help sort something out. I would definitely recommend this place to any large groups!

Wat een heerlijke vakantie hebben wij hier gehad. Hele vriendelijke toegankelijke gastvrouw. Geweldig leuk huisje. Kraak helder zwembad. En wat een uitzicht!!!! Paradijsje op aarde. En niet te vergeten de rust, de vogeltjes en onze grote kleine vriend Lucky het grappige lieve 🐶 . Veel leuke bastide stadjes in de buurt en waanzinnige vergezichten. Een plek om terug te keren.

Het huis was heerlijk ruim, het uitzicht prachtig. We konden met onze hond zo vanuit de tuin de wijngaarden en boomgaard inlopen voor een prachtige wandeling. Toen het regende, konden we in de ruime zitkamer zitten. Ook het zwembad was zeer de moeite waard. We kregen zelfs een fiets te leen van Alex, de zoon van Lucien.

This is one of the best AirBnBs we have ever stayed in. The views from the terrace are absolutely amazing, and the garden/ pool area is perfect for children of all ages. There are lots of lovely vineyards, markets and villages to visit within a 30 minute drive. Lovely cycling, walking and running right on the door step. The house itself is better than photographed, it is very spacious, clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen for cooking for large groups. Hosts were responsive throughout to any questions.

Jenny and Marc were excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and they are lovely people. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the gîte was very comfortable and well equipped. It is such a peaceful and tranquil place and the pool is superb. We cannot fault it at all. Thank you Jenny and Marc!

We had a fantastic stay at Rigal - Jackie and Chris were the perfect hosts. We were 2 couples and 2 toddlers and both us and the boys had a fantastic time on the farm - and when the weather was misbehaving on the first couple of days, the place had loads of toys to entertain the kids. Rigal is a very beautiful place and is extremely peaceful - the only noisy neighbours are the animals on the farm! It’s an easy drive from Bergerac airport and very easy to find; it’s also out the way enough to feel secluded without being inaccessible. We’ll definitely come back and will recommend to friends and family.
