Cabin holiday rentals in Ponca

This cabin was in the perfect location for all of the best hiking and kayaking in the area. It's very remote, but lots of food options 30 min away. The cabin itself was adorable and cozy, it was very clean and well kept. The basement was perfect for sleeping. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The cabin was nestled in the woods, very peaceful and quiet! Loved the back covered deck!! The hot tub was relaxing after miles of hiking. The bed was comfy. Everything was clean and organized neatly. The kitchen was well stocked too. We would stay here again.

This location was the perfect spot for our girls getaway. Between the privacy, fire pit, and hot tub we had our own piece of heaven. The views in this area are breathtaking. Plenty of room and amenities!

The sunrise is supreme. The cabin details were well thought out and they had almost anything you could want. The kitchen is well stocked with extras like oil, coffee, filters, sandwich bags, and plastic cutlery. Sharp knives, Ninja coffee maker, laundry supplies, a lighter for the stove/grill/fire pit, and more. The AC worked well. The storms caused a tree to fall over the driveway and flooded out the hot tub. They were quick to answer and address the issues we had related to the storm. The turn-off is a bit unexpected, so read the access instructions carefully before you get there. It was easy to find with the instructions provided. The location was perfectly central to everything we wanted to do: Buffalo River, MTB at Ponca/Upper Buffalo, waterfalls south of Jasper, hiking and fishing, and Horseshoe Canyon Ranch (definitely look into the Via Ferrata!!!) We will absolutely stay here again.

We loved it. We came to the area for hiking and canoeing, and while we didn't get to do a LOT of that because of the weather and rain, we still had a fantastic time because we were able to get away, play games, and just relax. We were really impressed with the cabin. The big front porch was great for watching the rain and drinking coffee. The hot tub was great for relaxation. He had everything we needed, and was super friendly and helpful - thank you Davis! The driveway to get to the house may not be for every person or vehicle, but we did not mind. It was totally doable with 4x4, and Davis has spent a lot of time, money, and effort improving it (and is still working on it even over the weekend we were there) - raging flood waters don't take it easy on anyone. Thanks again Davis, for a fantastic place to get away from everything!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning home that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the sweeping views of the mountains—a breathtaking backdrop that made every morning feel like a scene from a movie. Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and enjoyed everything! The view was great and the cabin provided everything we needed. The bed and couch were so comfy! The local town had cute shops and a few great places to eat. So many trails to hike as well. John was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend this place to anyone needing peace, solitude, privacy, and relaxation!!

We absolutely loved staying at this cutely decorated and comfortable airbnd. The location is nestled at the back of the property and offers a lot of privacy. The scenery is gorgeous. We needed to ask the Host some questions and she promptly responded and even drove over to reassure us that the water levels for the creek would be safe. We will definitely be booking a second trip at this location!!

If you are wanting a cabin on the creek surrounded by beautiful nature this is it! Our stay and experience was simply beautiful.

My family and I stayed at Misty Bluff in celebration of my retirement. The best part of the entire experience for me was waking up every morning seeing the sun rising above the mountains from the master bedroom. The house was very clean and the decor made it feel like home. Karla's response time to any question was prompt. I could not have asked for a better experience to start this new chapter of my life.

We planned this as a 4-day waterfall chasing adventure and Dennis and Naomi were incredibly helpful in accommodating our needs, providing us with a list of the 5 best waterfalls to see and providing us with several interactive maps that were developed by a notable "waterfall chaser". As our rental period approached, the weather forecast showed cold and rainy for our entire 4-day stay. We decided to follow through with the rental and Dennis provided additional tips on hiking in the rain. Then, I threw out my back the day before our trip was to start, but once again we decided to follow through. We arrived late at night but with Dennis' guidance were able to find Big Oak Cabin with no trouble at all. Dennis further assisted by providing a list of the 5 best short and easy waterfall trails. Dennis was extremely responsive to other requests for assistance. The vacation turned out to be one of the most memorable we've had. thank you Dennis and Naomi!!

The owner was very communicative and helpful. He was responsive to our questions about the area and gave us great advice. Our stay, which included two families (total of 10 individuals) stayed very comfortably in this space. We enjoyed being able to cook out and do a campfire/smores with the kids. Firewood was available with a fire pit, which was convenient. The kids loved playing games in the game room when they needed something to do. The porch had a picture perfect view of the mountains, and we loved being able to lounge, have coffee, and chat. Our trip to Falling Water Falls was a huge hit with everyone. We swam there most of the day and explored the area. Anyone traveling in this area should be aware of ticks and how to prepare/manage while exploring the area. Overall, we would love to return.

Great little get away! Beautiful place that had the best porch for morning coffee! The grounds were beautiful and had a great fire pit! Linda had left wood and some fire starter so that was wonderful! The best surprise was the donkey that would greet us at his pen every time we pulled up! Perfect location for a great homebase to go and explore the buffalo!

Wow - this cabin was everything we hoped for and more! Inside it was warm, spotless, and beautifully decorated - a perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. The cabin had every amenity we could need - a well-equipped kitchen, plush bedding, and even a welcome snack of fresh baked bread we removed from the bread maker upon arriving. Our host was outstanding: responsive, kind, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience. They provided detailed check-in instructions and excellent local recommendations. This cabin was the ideal place to unplug, relax, and recharge. We can't wait to come back.

Some of the most beautiful views I have ever seen were right outside the living room window!

This was a very memorable weekend for my family of four. The boys had their own space upstairs while we had a nice bedroom off the living room and kitchen. We all enjoyed sitting on the front porch looking out at the beautiful landscape, petting the friendly horses who came up to the fences, and sitting in the hot tub to relax after long hikes. The drive to Ponca to rent canoes was convenient as well.

The cabin was cozy and perfect for two. It had a comfy bed and a well-stocked kitchen. The porch and fire pit were perfectly situated to grill out and enjoy the incredible view as well. I highly recommend this cabin and would book again.

By far the most well appointed Airbnb we’ve every stayed in anywhere in the world. Whitney & Tom truly thought of everything! From Dyson blow dryers to the Nespresso maker to every kitchen utensil, spice, glassware, serving dishes, and multiple large cutting boards. Truly just show up and begin your vacation. Everything including the hot tub were impeccably clean. Will look forward to staying here again!

This beautiful home will be beyond your expectations once you see it in person. Just can’t judge it from looking at the photos. It’s beautiful hardwood from floor to ceiling. The carpentry work on the back patio, screen doors, light fixtures & switches, hooks on walls for hanging stuff, etc. was so unique and artfully done. There is a HUGE FLAT backyard with access to a beautiful small creek. Very private and quiet place to stay. This place is a good one folks…🥇
