This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and a quiet town close to the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge which provides birding, and beautiful views. The Pecan Cabin is in the middle of a pecan orchard. It is built out of pecan wood. There is much wildlife around the cabin. We often see deer, wild turkeys, armadillo, squirrels, hawks, racoon, and coyote. It is very quiet and peaceful. A great place for star gazing. This is a working pecan orchard. You may see us, mowing, pruning and generally taking care of the trees. There is no hunting on this property. The land is leased for hunting, but they do not hunt in the pecan grove.

This place was perfect for us. We got married Friday night and it was nice to come to a private place after the very long day. Jennifer was very accommodating by letting us drop a car off early in the day. This made our weekend easier. The place was super clean, smelled great and perfect amount of space for two people. The bathroom is a lot bigger than you would think! I loved it.

absolutely wonderful place to stay! so quite and peaceful. the hosts are so friendly and very responsive. we booked our stay to go to the salt plains and this air BNB was the perfect place to come back and relax after a long day. very clean and cozy. I highly recommend and we would definitely book again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stayed for business, but had my family tag along. This location was beautiful and nooked in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. This location is perfect for families… especially with young kids. There is a park a minute’s walk away A swing outside for a toddler/baby Plenty of sleeping room (one big bed, another room with a big bed, also had a bunk bed type in one of the rooms with the big bed that little kids could fit.) Haylee also was so kind to leave toys for our 2 year old son. The space was clean and cozy. Plenty of items for cooking in the kitchen (all your basic spices). The bathroom was clean and had all the extra items you could need. This is such a valuable find and I don’t think you would regret staying here.
