I was genuinely impressed by this place. So beautiful! The pool is incredible, they had prosecco and limoncello for us and provided several supplies for a successful stay. I would 100000% come back here!

Villa Lina was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. The house was clean, had new and comfortable bedding, had plenty of space for our family, and the view was outstanding. The place is very private, high up on the hill, but with the instructions from our host we had no trouble finding it, even in the dark. The driveway is about 1/4 mile, steep, with parts of it gravel, and has several sharp turns, but we made it no problem with the small jeep we rented (without 4WD). Just take it slow. It is about a 15 minute drive back down to the town center of Lucca and the train station and 10 minutes to a grocery store. The back roads are very narrow until you get to a main road so use caution and we were lucky enough that others backed up for us when we met on the narrow spots. The view and seclusion were well worth the drive up for us. If you want an amazing view of the Tuscan countryside, but also a short drive to a neat town and a train station, Villa Lina is a great choice!

This is my third visit to the Lucca area, but my first time to stay inside the city walls. Fabrizio’s apartment is perfect with respect to location, style, and quality. The terrace is such a haven. Any meals we cooked were eaten out there, and a glass of wine in the evening is a must while you listen to the lively vibe of Lucca.

Cristina was a fantastic host and was always available to provide us with anything we needed. The house is perfect for a family getaway and the location is idealic. Would definitely recommend staying in Cristinas wonderful home

Highly recommend anyone new to Italy to try San gimigano first. Staying here allowed us flexibility to explore other cities and had plenty of great spots in walking distance. Lorenzo provided fantastic recommendations and assisted with everything we asked for.

We had a wonderful time! We were lucky with the weather and were able to use the magnificent terrace every day. Otherwise, the apartment would probably have been too small for two of us. Thanks also for the nice welcome with wine and snacks and nice tips for the area! It was very hot during the day, the air conditioning was too loud for us to sleep, but at night you could ventilate well. The apartment, the terrace, the view of the rooftops, the relaxed neighborhood - a great atmosphere. We had a lot of fun on the trip to Canyon Park, Lucca and the sea. We only wish the plants on the terrace were better cared for. These were completely dried up when we arrived. Clear watering instructions for guests would certainly be helpful (plastic plants are not a solution for the charm of the apartment and terrace). There are no bedside lamps, neither downstairs nor upstairs. For all those who only read digitally, no problem. We hope we can come back again

There are so many positive things to say about this accommodation and especially about Adriana, who was a truly exceptional host. She has always been very responsive, helpful and very kind and welcomed us very well with a lovely touch on our arrival. We would like to highlight Adriana's help and kindness when my mom, who was on vacation with us, lost her phone. The accommodation is impeccable and spacious; from the grill area to the beautiful pool, everything is there for you to have a dream stay. The location is ideal for visiting this beautiful region, as several reviews already mention. It is easy to travel by train to nearby cities, but it is essential to have a car or rent one to get to the nearest train station. In short, we can only recommend this accommodation for all the reasons mentioned. We hope to return to Adriana's one day 😊

First, a big compliment to Sandro. Communication was perfect. Although we didn't meet in person, we were able to communicate well. The house is fantastic. Much better than the pictures could ever say. This attention to detail is unique. We spent 5 weeks all over Italy incl. Sicily on the road. But this place was one of the nicest. Also a dream for our dogs. Everything fenced and all around real peace. We were all very comfortable. All major cities are easily accessible. Supermarket and restaurants plenty nearby. We did not have children with us, but Sandro is sufficiently cared for with games, play kitchen, cuddly toys and much more. I highly recommend this house. If we visit this area again, Sandro would be my first address.. Thanks for the nice time.
