Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Poole Harbour

Dave and Emma are the perfect hosts. They were so accommodating of our needs and super flexible in helping us to prepare for our stay and celebration. The property is beautiful, it’s peaceful and you feel right at home. Our teenage son and family children loved the games room as a ‘den’ to escape to whilst we enjoyed sitting on the deck with food and drinks. Dave and Emma have thought of everything, if they don’t have it then you don’t need it. The kitchen amenities were just fantastic, everything was there, clean and easy to use. The mobile signal wasn’t great this weekend and broadband struggled a little, but being surrounded by our favourite people, it didn’t matter too much. We would love to stay with our families again to enjoy this beautiful property. Thank you Dave and Emma again, so so much!

We hired this for a few days with family to celebrate my nans 70th birthday. Absolutely beautiful house and gardens and the facilities are amazing. We live locally so knew about the area but loved having a swimming pool, tennis courts and snooker table for all of us to enjoy. The lounge was bigger than we thought and comfortably sat all of us. We also received a helpful guide a few days before our stay which gave us all the information we needed. Overall a really lovely stay, thank you!

We found a little gem in the cheese house, Tamsin was just great welcomed us and was just next door for any help we needed. The appartment was very relaxed location having very good kitchen, more utensils than we have at home so could prepare a naquet there if you so wished. Also a great relaxing area with plenty of sofa space along with a pool table. bedrooms and bathrooms very spacious and clan and tidy. overall a great experience had and a great find we will return for sure. thank you Tamsin for a lovely stay Paul&June

Ruth and Calum were amazing to deal with. Ours was a last minute reservation and they were very responsive and helpful. The location is amazingly beautiful and the surrounds are worth exploring. Very clean and tidy accommodation which is very accurate to the description.

It was the perfect place for our young family and dog. Lots of space and peace and quietly whilst being close to the Jurassic Coast. Andrea was a fabulous host, very friendly and happy to help at all times. Highly recommend and we will be returning.

My family and I had a great stay at the property. It is in a lovely quiet location, 20 minute walk to Poole Park and near beaches, Poole Quay, easy car journey to the chain ferry where we headed to Swanage and had a wonderful time. Great size garden with goal and hot tub. They have provided a lovely gas BBQ which we made full use of. The kitchen had all the usual facilities which we appreciated having 4 month old twin boys and a 13 and 11 year old. A great time was had by all. There is much to do for families in this area.

Strides Barn was a lovely place to stay. Lots of amenities and plenty of board games to keep everyone entertained. Only slight downside was it was very hot inside the cabin and we did not seem to have any control over it.. Other than that it was lovely. Good views, plentiful wildlife and lots of areas to explore a short car drive away.

Architecturally amazing house, really comfortable and peaceful home to stay in. Gemma was a great host, really responsive and helpfully. The garden is amazing and we spent a lot of time outside with the fire pit, even saw some deer at the bottom of the garden. Highly recommend, especially if you appreciate great design.

Anna's place is a beautiful. It is done up to a beautiful standard, and a great location to explore Weymouth, durdle door and Lulworth cove. Positives: - beautiful welcome pack on arrival - clean linen and towels - all instructions were easy to use - lovely spacious and airy - It has a spar right next door. - parking onsite - jacuzzi was nice Negatives -I believe Anna has new cleaners that day so kitchen and bathroom weren't 100% clean and bit musty. -the garden could do with a bit of maintenance - there is no stair gate for stairs worth noting for people with young kids. - no microwave (if needed) Overall it was a fab stay and we would definitely stay there again. Anna was quick to respond to my feedback and a superb host

What a beautiful apartment! Spacious, clean and has everything you need as a family. Lovely short walks to the beach and also the high street where we loved all the independent coffee shops and restaurants!! Thank you Fee :)

We had a lovely night at The Garden House. Ruth was a great host and left us to enjoy our privacy. The house was spacious and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen. Extremely dog friendly with lovely gardens.

We had a brilliant stay - perfect location (easy walk to Lainston) and a brilliant home-from-home base. Stunning garden - wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved our stay on the bus. The bus was lots of fun, especially the driver’s seat and stairs. The setting was lovely and camping facilities were great (hot and clean showers). The farm shop over the road was great and plenty to do nearby. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Rivendell Park. Both Natalie and snick were perfectly friendly and helpful. They have recently taken over the site and have lots of plans. We loved the relaxed and intimate nature of the site. We everyone felt trusted and safe. The facilities are great and set to get better. The flat was great with the pool eifht opposite. Which was super convenient.hl great place for children to meet and enjoy playing together, while the parents can relax a little. Great park. With a really friendly team. We will definitely be back. Nice place! Clean and cosy and is completely equipped. We like to cook rather than going out so worked out well for us. Meik is a good communicator, will recommend.

Lovely cabin close to lots of restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. Plenty of space for 2 people and a dog. Comfy bed, shower and sofa. We also really like that there was a little fenced garden so we could enjoy the sun!

We stayed at this cozy cabin in the woods for three nights, and it was exactly the peaceful retreat we needed. Tucked away in a quiet, serene setting, the cabin offered a perfect break from the noise and stress of everyday life. One of the things we appreciated most was that everything in the cabin worked just as expected—no surprises with the electrics, heating, or water, which made for a smooth and comfortable stay. The cabin had a warm, rustic charm without sacrificing any of the essentials. It’s also pet-friendly, and my dog had the best time roaming the woods. There’s no shortage of things to do nearby either. Whether you’re into hiking, scenic drives, or just relaxing in nature, the location has plenty to offer. We left feeling refreshed and highly recommend it for anyone looking to unwind and disconnect for a bit.

The lodge far exceeded our expectations, which were already high based on previous comments. It is beautifully presented, well equipped, and very welcoming. Emma was warm and responsive in her communications, and it was lovely to meet her during our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Annette’s cabin. It was exactly as we had hoped after seeing the photos. It is cute and charming and just the spot to relax in, and a great spot to explore the area from. Annette and Russ were very friendly and we couldn’t have asked for any more from them. We hope to be back some day to enjoy this beautiful spot again.

Wow - what a beautiful cabin and setting! If you want to immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings of the New Forest - then this is the place for you! The cabin was spotless, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! The beds were so comfy and all the bedrooms have views of the surrounding woodlands, which was so lovely to wake up to. The little touches like the fire pit, complimentary bottle of wine, dart board and outdoor and indoor games really made this place even more special. It was just what I needed to recharge. Our dog absolutely loved sniffing about freely in the grounds, constantly finding us sticks to throw. The ponies even paid us a visit! Michael was a great host and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok... I only wish we could've stayed for longer! My family and I are already talking about visiting again in the autumn.

I enjoyed a beautiful, peaceful stay at The Studio. The place was spotless with everything you could possible need for a restful stay and Alison was a wonderful host with easy communication. Our stay at the hideout was excellent, it was a great location with lots to do around the new forest area, and Sarah’s recommendations were excellent, especially the farm shops and pubs nearby. The place itself was so peaceful and felt very private, with the hot tub and bbq making for a perfect evening. Also the sofa bed was super comfortable with a mattress topper. The local produce on arrival made it even more amazing, we couldn’t recommend it more
