Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Woodborough Woodland hideaway & a sea view

Nestled in the woods between Porlock Weir and Porlock this is a spacious retreat for people needing to ‘switch off’. The property offers stylish, minimal and comfortable accommodation with wonderful sea views from the house & garden. Porlock Weir is a 15 min walk where a local pub, restaurants and cafes can be enjoyed Between Woodborough and the Weir is Exmoor Adventures Where equipment for many activities is available- from body boarding to kayaking to mountain biking. 5 mins to Porlock.

Hidden Cottage, Porlock

Located centrally in Porlock village, this cosy cottage is tucked away in the small winding back lanes. The cottage has an open plan sitting/dining room with log burner and French doors opening out onto its own private decking area, perfect for enjoying morning coffee in the sunshine. Porlock is the perfect base for exploring the unique Exmoor countryside, with the moor on its doorstep and the beach one mile away. Dogs are welcome at Hidden Cottage, we ask for a £10 fee, towels are provided.

The Oaks Stable

The detached house is on two floors, sleeping accommodation and bathrooms are on ground floor with kitchen, sitting/ dining room on first floor, enjoying sea views overlooking the picturesque village of Porlock. There is ample parking and only a short walk to a variety of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. There is a private courtyard and access to a garden. Your hosts are experienced hoteliers, with an eye for quality, and are normally discreetly on hand to attend to any queries.

Boatman's Cottage is a delightful stylish cottage tucked away in the centre of the wonderful Exmoor village of Porlock. Believed to date back to the 1890s, this cottage is part of a small terrace originally built for boatbuilders and their families. The cottage row is described in the Historic Exmoor record as 'having a pleasing sense of seclusion' and it certainly does, yet a short walk along the mediaeval Drang and you are in the heart of the wonderful Porlock Village.
