Cottage holiday rentals in Port Elliot

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful cottage, everything was extremely clean and thoughtfully set out. We really appreciated the bits left for breakfast for both mornings and also the wine and snacks which we enjoyed on the terrace. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in McLaren Vale!

We had a wonderful stay at Galway Cottage. It was a bastion of calm in our holiday! The scenery is beautiful and Jason gave excellent recommendations of local places to go. You felt like you were stepping back in time, even though Jason has ensured there are all the modern comforts one needs. We hope to return and stay longer!

What can I say! This place was just absolutely stunning and wish we could have stayed longer! What a slice of perfection and heaven. Anthea has thought of everything - the attention to detail, quality of all things in the accommodation, stunning grounds, amazing views, privacy and provisions, etc - just wonderful! We stayed for our anniversary, and we never wanted to leave. Definitely worth the money and 100% would return.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful! Jason has done a beautiful job creating such a welcoming atmosphere with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Attention to detail and stand out features were amazing. Jason was a great communicator during our stay and on check out day/morning when a storm had hit, Jason suggested and offered that we stay a little longer until the storm had passed. I would highly recommend the cottage and Jason as a host ☺️

Beautiful old cottage on the edge of town just 10mins walk to the Main Street. Very comfy surrounds, super warm & cozy with a gas log fire & reverse cycle. Easy entry via lock box which helped as we arrived late & had to leave quite early for our flight. Friendly & responsive hosts who made some great local recommendations. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay. The cottage has everything you need. Jane has thought of so many details. Very friendly and helpful when we needed something. Can highly recommend the cottage. High quality facilities and provisions provided. You’ll have. Relaxing time.

10/10, I can’t wait to come back, it’s the best place I’ve ever stayed at, it was so peaceful and beautiful, great in winter, spa was amazing and cutest cows that said good morning. The homemade bread was fantastic. Super clean, provided movies and games.

Nice big space, clean and well presented. Loved staying here and so did our pup.

We had a really lovely stay at Craig and Karen’s place. The wonderful welcome treats they provided were so enjoyed and appreciated. The upstairs part of the house was everything - we enjoyed ocean views and meals on the balcony. Great place to relax and unwind. I recommend it!

Surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Very neat and tidy, very clean, plenty of cutlery etc, which is unusual. Was exactly as depicted on website. Bed was very comfortable, which is the feeling you get from the house when you are there. A credit to the owner and we would definitely recommend it, and hope to come back again.

Enough room for the whole family, oozing with character (my kids thought it would make a great escape room!) The Easter Bunny even left some goodies for us on our arrival. Easy to walk to dinner and over to Granite Island. There was a night market on our first night there... we arrived late, so wondered over for dinner. It did get a little noisy with people walking past until the market closed. The pub at the back had yummy food and live music on Sunday.

Great place to stay if you'd like to walk to the shops and restaurants in McLaren Vale. Well furnished home with everything you want in the kitchen. Anna is very responsive and easy to communicate with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 48 West. Sarina was a wonderful host, with her home being beautifully styled and well equipped. Every last detail was thought of! As a gorgeous heritage home right in the heart of town, 48 West is the perfect place to relax, spend time with family and use as a base to explore the beautiful Adelaide Hills. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

We just spent the long weekend at Olga's place. It was exactly what we imagined and did exactly what we needed - family down time, great views, simple screen free weekend. The place was spotless, fire was ready to go, dog had a blast running around the enclosed area. We spent an evening painting the view from a photo we took during the day and then projected on the blinds, explored deep creek conservation park and played lots of cards and board games (supplied) by the fire ☺️ Oh and a windy winters walk up to the next paddock to feed the friendly horse and donkey! Great place to stay. Everything you need is available and clean. Welcome pack in the fridge is good after a long day travel. It is walking distance to the beach and cafes. The house is a good size and suits us well for a hassle free getaway.

Bird In Hand Cottage is a such cozy and beautiful place to stay over. Great location in Port Noarlunga where you can walk to the beach in short minutes, Cafes and restaurants also nearby as well. The cottage is spotless clean and Suzie is very friendly, always reachable, top host! I would recommend Bird In Hand Cottage and would definitely come back on my next visit to SA. Thanks Suzie for being great host :)

A lovely stay! This air BnB has everything you need! Beautiful home and great outdoor entertainment area. Also lots of toys if you have a small child!

Very clear instructions from the host. Very clean and comfortable and just 5 minutes to the beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alex's beautiful house. The perfect mix of modern and cozy cottage. Our only regret was not having more time to sit in the sunshine in the picturesque front garden!

Nick's place was as described. Beds were comfy although the second bed is only a double so a bit squeezy if there are two in it. Fortunately it was only me. Quite well stocked with the basics and the lava lamp is mesmerising, loved it and all the other retro touches.

Wonderful stay in the centre of Normanville. Quick walk to the beach & cafes. Definitely recommend staying here when you are in Normanville.

Most magical place - loved the little touches getting the bottle of wine, milk and butter in the fridge too! So lovely ♥️

The property is a beautiful historic building and was well located to all the tourist attractions . The host was very helpful and even provided a bottle of wine to have with our dinner.
