We enjoyed here a full month in May 2025. Strong points: - First of all, the apartment was CLEAN. I confess my wife is a cleanliness freak, she had very minor objections regarding the cleanliness. This is really rare for her! - The owners were very receptive to all our requests. - The apartment is very big. It can easily accommodate 2 families with kids (middle bedroom is equipped for children), if they can manage the usage of the only bathroom. However, the shower and the toilet are each isolated in it's own space, meaning that shower, toilet and sink can be used by 3 persons in the same time. - A beautiful beach is 200 mtrs away. - Bus stop at 100 mtrs. - A restaurant just across the street, fair cooking and prices. Weak points: - Hot water is produced by solar panels. Next morning after a cloudy day the water may be not hot enough. - The location is in an quite isolated neighbourhood, so if you are a fan of nightlife (not our case, however) you must rent a car or use a taxi.

Nathalie was super, she helped us in every way possible. Having a nice clean and tidy home is important, but the real difference is made by people! The housekeeper Sharmela also kept the house in perfect order and prepared a delicious Mauritian lunch for us. The house is perfect for children who can play safely. We recommend a stay of at least 7 days so you don't suffer too much when you leave the house. Thanks to all the staff

We really enjoyed our week-long stay at Anne and Dominique's place. They are very available and responsive hosts and they gave us the best recommendations for activities and restaurants nearby. They are warm and love to receive visitors. The accommodation offered a superb view of Tamarin Bay and we saw incredible sunsets. The accommodation has everything you need to have a good time (reception, barbecue, swimming pool, proximity to excursions, etc.). We would definitely recommend! Sincerely, Thibault and Céline

We had an amazing stay at this spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained apartment. Its location is perfect, with many restaurants, a shopping center, and popular beaches just a short distance away. The apartment is well-kept, offers 24/7 security, and includes dedicated parking - everything we needed for a hassle-free stay. Christopher is a great host. He dropped by during our check-in and thoughtfully walked us through all the apartment amenities. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay in Mauritius!

It has been 20 years since I was in Mauritius for a holiday ! The island has changed a lot including the holiday homes ! This apartment felt like an extra special treat for my son and I. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Opening the curtains to a beautiful sea view was an amazing way to start the day ! With lots of activities near by and places to eat ! I would absolutely stay here again ! We didn’t feel like we were missing anything and were quite sad to leave. If you want to visit the north of the island this is a great place to be !

The apartment was really great! The location in Black River (west of Mauritius) is perfect for excursions and daily supply (supermarket, restaurants, boulangerie etc.) is just around the corner. The apartment complex is very nice, clean, safe and well maintained. The pool and the lookout from there on black River Bay and Le Mourne is tremendously great - not only for sunsets. The apartment itself doesn’t lack anything. It was perfectly clean, felt very nice, private and welcome to be inside of it and the balcony is great to enjoy your food or just to relax. It’s in our opinion of a perfect size for four people (family) and the available utensils/ items in the kitchen are well thought-through. Priscilla is a wonderful host with a perfect balance of being very helpful, friendly and reliable without forcing you to anything. We would definitely recommend the apartment as we experienced it.

Here's a rewrite of your text: We had an exceptional stay of more than two weeks with our two children (1 year and 4 years). Amreen is an extremely warm and welcoming person. She made our stay as simple and enjoyable as possible. Whenever we needed help, his responses were quick and effective. We were confined in the apartment for a day or two because of the cyclone, but the quality of the accommodation, including the pool, allowed us to enjoy anyway. Amreen was very thoughtful and cared for our well-being throughout this situation. I highly recommend this listing 100%. It offers ample space, functional air conditioning, and most importantly, a splendid view of the ocean. Thank you so much!

House is absolutely stunning. Very well equipped kitchen, master bedroom is huge with breathtaking views. There are 4 bedrooms in the house, all with private bathrooms. The pool and deck were fantastic. It was so nice to sit there and just look at the ocean! The property is located approx. 10 min walk (2 min drive) from the main street and the beach. A shopping center with a grocery store is also super close. Athalie was very nice, super flexible and helpful. She gave us a detailed tour of the house. It was really nice to meet her. The only thing that was a problem and may be a problem in the future is the roof over the staricase. It is made of glass and unfortunately leaks when it rains. Since the leak was quite big and required a lot of work and effort from us to keep the house dry, we assume that it would probably be fixed very soon, so it may not be a problem anymore.

It was a tropical paradise, felt like home from home. You wake up hearing the ocean, incredible spot for sunset and has everything you need and more. Definitely will be staying here again, would highly recommend.

Quiet area but convenient to services and the wonderful Mont Choisy beach 10 min. walk. Bus stop for all other destinations 100 m away. Spacious apartment with large terrace that can be wonderfully used both day and night, fully equipped kitchen with small appliances available and basic necessities available such as sugar, coffee, salt, pepper, oil. Spacious air-conditioned rooms with comfortable beds and huge bathroom with shower and whirlpool tub with shampoo, conditioner and soap available. Washing machine with detergent, very useful for those of us who have stayed for a long time. The real PLUS, however, concerns the owners, Radha and Michael, really helpful and in any case discreet, always ready to assist you with any little request for help. As great travelers, we can say that we have never found hosts so attentive to the guest. ULTRA RECOMMENDED

Jaqueline’s place is a true gem—compact yet fully equipped and beautifully designed. It looks even better in person and instantly felt like home. Just 200 meters from the beach and a short walk to a large supermarket, the location is perfect. Wish we had an extra day to enjoy it!

The accommodation is as on the pictures, rooms very clean, a very nice family hearty food, you feel at home with mom, everything is great. I highly recommend it, also a huge terrace where you can hang out in the evening. 2 rooms, 1 living room a washing machine is available in the bathroom basically everything you need. book your trip and enjoy Mauritius👌👌.

3 nights at the Charming Condo perfect for discovering Tamarin, Le Morne, Black River and the Black River gorges! The location is perfect for travelers traveling by bus. This was our case and Sébastien provided us with all the information to get to the accommodation from the East of Mauritius. Easy and super accessible! Pleasant surprise upon our arrival with the little extras and attentions of our hosts: welcome basket and beach towels provided, perfect for an aperitif on the nearby beach! The first aid kit (yes, we don't think about it enough!) is perfect for small injuries after visiting the National Park! And the perfect location close to restaurants! We enjoyed the Jiva for breakfast and the happy Rahja or Osaka Sushi for dinners! Bonus for Sébastien's availability, responsiveness and impeccable accommodation. I recommend without hesitation, between friends or family, the charming Condo will be ideal for your stay in the south west of Mauritius.

A nice and big studio with a great terrace. Very quiet yet centrally located. The beach and restaurants can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, if you want to go to other beaches, a scooter or car is recommended. The landlords are very comfortable. There is plenty of hot water, the kitchen is well equipped and the rooms can be darkened with curtains. The bed is comfortable, the AC cools down, although it is also a little louder. Earplugs can help. Everything is divided as shown in the pictures: a bathroom, a kitchen with seating, a bedroom and a living room with sofa and dining table.

Beautiful apartment just across the beach, the view from the balcony was amazing. Lot of restaurants in walkable distance and Bil was very helpful with reccos.

Great apartment right on the beach. Wonderful view of the sea from the terrace. Totally quiet location. You only hear the sea and birds chirping. You can take fantastic walks on the beach. The apartment has lots of space. Kitchen and bathroom were without blemish. It was all there what we needed. Roumila responded to our requests at any time. Absolutely recommended place if you are looking for piece and tranquility. Nearby is not as much as other places on the island, but it was exactly what we were looking for. We ended up at this place because we had a very bad experience with a home located on Freshwater Trou and we were not at all disappointed to have chosen this home with a pool. Very quiet, high standard apartment, everything was spotless when we arrived, the bath linen smelled extremely good. Karine the housekeeper is adorable. And Deborah who is in charge of management is really excellent, smiling, pleasant and professional. She allowed us to come earlier because there was no one in the listing before. Thank you so much for allowing us to have a great holiday.

Such a nice place and right by the dock where you can book activities like 5 islands tour. People managing the place just downstairs were really lovely and helpful too, a couple of tiny issues were fixed really quickly and everyone was very responsive - would really recommend staying here!
