Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Port Phillip City

After a rough start with the cleaner not having turned up James was able to fix this quickly and had us in the property as quickly as he could. His communication was exceptional and we’d love to stay again

We really enjoyed our stay at The Chambers South Yarra. Location was great with restaurants and supermarket close by. It was also just a short drive to the city. The home is perfect for families. Min and Ted are amazing hosts! They are very kind and responsive and they made sure we had a pleasant stay. Highly recommend The Chambers and we look forward to staying here again when in Melbourne!

It was a home away from home. We grew to love the place with the natural lighting, heated floors, piano/keyboard and the deli round the corner. Raymond was also excellent in responding to our queries.

We stay at a lit of Airbnbs and every now and then one will stand out due to the personal touches. We had fresh fruit, 6 large double yoked eggs, bread,milk, butter and the most beautiful fresh cut flowers. The house itself is like being at home. We called it the Tardis as it looked compact from the outside but was huge inside. James was very arrentative and obviously rightly proud of the house. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Beautiful place, very easy to check into. Bed was soo comfortable! Kitchen had everything needed to cook and bathroom was nice. Street was lively in the day but to be expected given the area but night time was nice and quiet. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and recommend others stay as well. Thank you for a wonderful much needed Staycation.

We loved this place in Melbourne - it was cozy and had enough space for our family to stretch out with the extra bed in the back :) The kitchen was well appointed and though we only stayed a weekend we could see renting this place for longer. The location was amazing as well - walkable and close to public transportation. One of our favorites so far!

A very enjoyable stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The location is great, well within walking distance to the city and right by the South Melbourne markets. Would definitely stay again and recommend others giving it a look!

House is located in a quiet neighbourhood. Excellent communication with the host. My child left behind a motion sensor light under the pillow and we managed to retrieve it by texting host on communication channel. He even went to meet us to pass it back to us several days later.Thank you so much! ◡̈

Convenient location, easy access into the apartment via the street. 2 bathrooms made life very easy in the morning getting ready with the family. Overall very pleased with the accomodation and will likely book here again. Thank you.

Great stay! Apartment was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. Joel was a welcoming host and responsive to messages. Nice extra touches of wine, chocolate, bread and milk. Plus beach towels and umbrellas to accomodate the variety of all the Melbourne weather events thrown at us for our weekend stay. Would definitely stay again.

We loved staying at Michelle’s place. Michele made check in very easy for us and was flexible when it came to check out. Her place was at a great spot about 2 minute walk to a tram which you could catch into the city in 25 minutes. Thanks Michelle!

Stella’s place is perfect for an overnight or short stay, conveniently located close to all the things St Kilda has to offer so park the car up and relax. Safe and snug with a very comfortable bed, modern and clean amenities, all you need really. From booking to checking out, Stella’s communication was so friendly, helpful and clear. She is super responsive and on hand should the need arise.

One of the best, most well organised airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. I was immediately right at home. Port Melbourne itself was abit boring but it was perfect for what I needed.

We had such a nice stay at Ros and Andrew’s place. The apartment is great, very well equipped and quiet. The location is perfect, very close to the beach and only a few minutes walk from cafes and restaurants. Ros and Andrew are excellent hosts. I loved my stay at John’s place! The apartment was lovely, airy & spacious with great views out over the treetops. I really enjoyed the arty touches around the place, not to mention the very comfy bed. The electric blanket was a nice surprise! Transport was plentiful & nearby to wherever I wanted to go, and it was a quick walk up to all the shops & restaurants of Clarendon St and South Melbourne Market. John was a great host, he sent me very clear instructions for how to get in on my arrival, and even arranged an early check in for me. I would absolutely stay here again next time I’m in Melbourne! Our family had wonderful stay and appreciated the beautiful location. The view was absolutely spectacular. It was also very convenient to walk around, with lovely restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Jim was very responsive and let us to check in early .Thank you Jim!

Incredibly easy to find and check in. Samuel was very responsive and everything was very clean when we arrived. The flat is a nice place to enjoy the local area and close to the train station to see the rest of Melbourne. Highly recommend!

Simon and Pier are great host. Check in was very easy. The place is very nice and has lots to do, from board games to books and local melbourne recommendation guides. So close to everything, tram, DFO, restaurants and casino night life. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore Melbourne.

We had a great stay. Everything was as described, very clean, we had everything we needed, the hosts were incredibly responsive and we were very comfortable.
