This was my wife and I’s second time visiting Midland to attend the annual butter tart festival. Our previous rental unit last year was great as were the furnishing so the bar was high for this year’s Airbnb rental. In fact, the “Home in Midland” rental unit and the hosts exceeded our expectations. The rental unit's location was only minutes from the festival and most amenities such restaurants, waterfront and stores. We never moved the car during our stay since everything was within a short walk. About the hosts welcoming attitude and hospitality: Upon arrival, we requested an early entry which was granted without hesitation. We were also fortunate enough to meet one of the hosts (Shelby) she was extremely pleasant and assisted us in making sure we were in the right parking spot, which was well indicated. We walked up 2 flights of stairs to get to our unit and were pleasantly surprised at the space of the rental . The pictures online were absolutely on point and matched expectations.

Jay is a polite and responsive host, and had all our questions answered big or small. The location is very private and tranquil. The place has a functional layout and cozy ambience. We especially loved the private access to the lake, the hot tub and the sun room which had large windows. Amenities that were described were present, and instructions of what to bring were clear. All led to a hassle free stay. We enjoyed our stay here.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spacious, clean, and perfect for our group of 10 adults. The lakeside view was beautiful, and the large deck was a great spot to relax and enjoy the sunset. This place is perfect for anyone who enjoys fishing or boating. We’d love to come back when the weather is warmer! Bijan was a great host—very responsive, kind, and easy to communicate with. Everything went smoothly. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable getaway!

Alex was friendly and quick to respond to any inquiry. The cottage was beautiful, clean, with comfortable beds and everything you could think of that you may need. The surroundings were amazing and the hot tub and sauna were great added perks. We thoroughly enjoyed everything including sitting around the fire looking over the peaceful water. Best “work-cation” ever!!! Hope to book again

My family and I had a great time at Adam’s cottage! Incredible view of the lake, the lake water was crystal-clear. Beach house was well maintained and very clean, the interior decor was stunning! Beach house/garage had all the amenities you will need! The 2 paddle boards and 2 bikes were a great edition! we enjoyed walks/bike rides through the trails in the neighbourhood. We will definitely come back, HIGHLY recommend! Adam was very helpful, insightful, and gave fast replies! Great host!

The cottage itself is very spacious, clean and uncluttered. It provided plenty of room for 12. 10/10 would recommend for a weekend getaway with friends and/or family. Jakob is quick to respond to any messages. I will 100% be returning next year.
