Cottage holiday rentals in Port Sunlight

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage. The setting is perfect with canal walks straight from the door. The cottage is light, spacious and beautifully decorated. The enclosed garden is very private and there was plenty of space for our dog to explore. Amy was a great host. She provided everything we needed and left us an amazing box of goodies. We would highly recommend this property and would love to stay again.

I had a lovely stay at The Nest, the place was so homely and beautiful, everything was so clean and the kitchen had all the necessary items in it, so no need to bring things with me. Rachael was a fantastic host, she was super responsive and made sure we felt right at home.

Me and my partner really enjoyed this stay. It was a last minute booking for ourselves and Richard and Ceri were extremely attentive with their responses before and during our stay. The home itself was beautiful and was situated on a little farm. It was extremely clean and beautifully furnished. Not to mention the hot tub behind the house which Richard and Ceri ensured was always at use for us! It was our first time visiting Ruthin and we enjoyed every moment. We would definitely recommend this stay to family friends or anyone wanting a relaxing couple of nights away.

Beautiful cosy cottage, ideal location as was only about a 20 minute drive for Chester Zoo which we visited. Beds were very comfortable and was a very peaceful place. Sam is great host as kept us informed before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future 😊

Amazing stay! Beautiful place, clean and modern with everything you could need. Fully equipped kitchen, outdoor space, peaceful and quiet. The hot tub was perfect and already pre heated. Friendly hosts with just the right level of instructions. Thank you for having us!

Overall we had a great stay at the coach house, a group of us celebrated a birthday with a quiet weekend and it was perfect. The place was clean and peaceful, the surrounding area and views were lovely. The hosts’ were very responsive and helpful. The facilities were great and the location was easy to find. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing spot with a cosy feel, this will be great. There isn’t much near by but there are great locations within short driving distances.

My partner and I had the best couple of nights away at Ash Bank. Great location, with only a short and cheap uber ride into the centre. The house was perfect, interior was incredible and Vanessa provided all the added extra touches to make it so homey. The hot tub in the garden is bonus too! Vanessa is a PERFECT host, fantastic communication and super thoughtful leaving a card and bottles for our anniversary. We will definitely be coming back to stay and making it a regular thing!

The lodge was beautiful, we had a lovely peaceful weekend. They also had Netflix already on the tv which was great for a cosy night in. The scenery around was beautiful and would definitely go back. The only negative was we were excited about the pizza oven but wasn’t actually able to use it.

Relaxing, peaceful with lovely surroundings, nice and private with helpful and friendly hosts. Couldn’t fault it at all. We loved it and so did our dog Buddy!!

Tim's place was fantastic! - So well designed and thought out. I loved the layout of the living space and kitchen. It was so peaceful and a nice surprise was it stayed nice and cool in the evenings despite the hot weather. Would thoroughly recommend.

Just back from a long weekend at Iain and Judy's lovely place. It's really cute and quirky, just what you want from an old cottage. We really appreciated all the nice touches that were included (tea and coffee, butter, croissants, jam and crumpets for breakfast, fans and heaters to keep us comfy, lots of throw pillows on the sofa etc) We got very lucky with the weather so were able to make use of the deck and garden (lovely and peaceful) as well as doing lots of walking with our dog Ruby. Judy was very kind even when Ruby started shouting at her through the fence! 10/10, we thoroughly recommend a stay here.

I can't praise our host or the cottage highly enough. Our cook (!) particularly loved the dual high level ovens - "the best kitchen I've ever cooked in". The cottage was spotless, comfortable and elegant, and we all enjoyed sitting out in the quiet garden. Thank you, Evangeline.

We recently stayed here on a Mountain Biking trip to Llandegla. Very nice, peaceful and scenic place to stay, clean and tidy and the hosts a very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and return.

We had a wonderful stay, reasonably priced, comfortable and homely. Julie went above and beyond to help us, answered my questions and made helpful suggestions. The Morris Dancer and the Royal Oak were excellent for food and nearby. Great location. Will book again when we come to the area x

Croston is a beautiful wee village. Holly’s cottage was perfect for my needs. Only criticisms are:- Paintwork a little tired Outdoor table and chairs would’ve been great WiFi was very slow But a lovely quiet cottage and the surrounding areas are lovely. Would definitely use again if in the area. Thank you 😊

Such a beautiful place to stay if you want to be close to Liverpool but a little bit away from downtown. Kim and Jonathan were incredible hosts and the cottage was just simply perfect. We loved the location and how peaceful it was. Highly recommend this stay!

Beautiful cottage surrounded by woodlands and stream. The neighbours we met on our dog walks were really lovely and helpful talking about the area. Our whole family including our dog loved the cottage. Just wished we had longer. Thank you Dan for restoring such a wonderful place. We come up from London for a christening. We needed a place to stay. When I come across Kate’s place. I fell in love. It was everything and more. I straight away felt at home the beds were so so comfortable. The place was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Absolutely worth every penny. And we most definitely will stay again hopefully in November 🤞🏼 Thank you Kate. 🙏🏻

My family came over from Portugal to visit and stayed at little Cobbes for a week. They had a lovely stay and were made to feel at home. Everything was spotless and the cottage had everything you would hope for. The hosts were very acomodating and we would definitely book them in the future again!

Diane is an amazing host and this Airbnb is truly a gem. The location is beautiful, quiet and the views from the cottage our over the fields are amazing. The cottage is luxurious spacious and incredibly well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could want including a proper espresso machine. The local towns are good and have plenty of restaurants and shops, our host also shared several amazing local dog walks with us.

Was one of if not the nicest places I have ever stayed in. Mandy was amazing and the way we were treated on arrival made us feel like royalty. Mandy had baked us a cake and given us free eggs,honey,butter,bread and milk some of which were homemade from her Farm. We did not miss home one bit as everything you could ever think of needing was including in the hospitality. The Cottage we stopped in was immaculate. When I come up to see my friend in chester I will 100% be looking to book here again! This is the first review I have ever left for anything and Mandy deserves all of the accolades she is already well established for.
