Absolutely enjoyed our stay in Valparaiso downtown area on a quiet spot beautiful architecture , great food and Mari-Beth was a wonderful hostess!!!

We had a wonderful stay! Mari-Beth and her team were friendly, responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had and were very easy to work with. The location was great for what we wanted to do and the amount of space was perfect for my small family. We loved being able to walk to all the great restaurants, coffee shops/ bakery, library and European Market on Saturday. The place was immaculate! The house is over 100 years old, but updated very nicely. If squeaky floors in an older home bother you, you might take that into consideration, but we would definitely stay here again. (I’m pretty sure these are the original hardwoods that have been refinished and I love that!!!)

Diana is a sweet and generous person who was such a gracious host. We used the cozy spot as our refuge during a rough time. It was just perfect. The place was emaculate, the bed comfortable, the bird sounds and neighborhood quiet are lovely. We enjoyed sitting outside drinking our morning coffee. I felt at home. I would highly recommend Diana's place!

The location, space, and comfort of the unit was perfect for our stay in Valpo. You can walk to so many restaurants and local attractions! The place is well stocked with the essentials and the decor is so wonderfully done, which made us feel comfortable immediately. Highly recommend a stay!

Super clean, quiet, and cozy but stocked with everything you need and just a few blocks from Valpo campus and the downtown eateries. Really just a perfect spot, and only about 30 minutes drive from all parts of Indiana Dunes NP. Also, Diana was a very gracious and kind host! Would love to stay here again the next time I'm in town!

Such a cozy, well-appointed apartment in a great downtown Valpo location, walkable to fantastic coffee (Fluid roasters), boutiques and restaurants. We visited in June and caught the Saturday farmer’s market too! The apartment was scrupulously clean, with crisp white linens. There were fans available (we like the white noise), A/C units (we didn’t need them), ironing supplies and blow dryer. The beds were very comfortable too; in fact, I wanted to know what type of memory foam magic was happening under the fitted sheet! The TV was outfitted Netflix and Prime. We didn’t use the kitchen, but it was clean and well set up. Whoever cares for this property is so attentive to details; the grounds are trim, vibrant and everything is swept. Plus, the building itself is interesting, originating in 1860 (Abe Lincoln days!) and nicely remodeled inside. Hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This place was great! Just blocks from the university which was very convenient for visiting my son. The space was organized well and provided everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

This is my second time staying here and it’s the perfect spot for a weekend in Valparaiso! You can walk to everything downtown and Michelle’s place has everything you need for a great stay.

We always look for this rental whenever we stay in Valparaiso. It’s within walking distance of the Main Street downtown with so many restaurants and shops. We enjoyed strolling to the outdoor amphitheater down the street for the concert one evening. Its clean and has everything one needs for a delightful stay in Valparaiso! Highly recommend this spot!

I absolutely love the place and location. The only things I would warn people there are a ton of stairs to go down to the place....very worth it, but if you have hip or knee issues probably not a good choice. The views are amazing! Would caution that if there are people upstairs renting as well, you do hear all footsteps and noise. I will be going back and maybe even rent the whole place for a family vacation! Another wonderful stay at Mari-Beth's! I always feel so comfortable at her Chesterton Charmer after a long day. Love that the location blends easy access to so many activities while also allowing some peace and tranquility. I would recommend staying here to anyone!

What a wonderful place for a beachfront getaway! Right on the shore, near the state park, and a few minutes drive from plenty of restaurants, markets etc. The place looked exactly like the photos and worked well for the three of us with plenty of room to spread out. Susan was a fantastic host - very responsive and easygoing. If she'll have us, we'd love to stay again!

Our 2nd stay with Diana in a different space. The Nest was very comfortable and squeaky clean. A great location for walking into downtown and a quiet neighborhood for sleep! We have told others to book this when needing space in Valparaiso.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again :)
