The heart of the cottage is the inglenook fireplace that was once the workplace of the local blacksmith, hence the name 'Yr Hen Efail', meaning 'The Old Smithy'. Over the past 16 months we have performed a complete refurbishment of the property which now includes plenty of mod cons, not least under floor heating and dimmable LED lighting, although sometimes the log fire is all you need!
